Best tip I can give is to walk to the park, but NOT via the Garden Walk. It is actually much, much quicker to walk Hollywood Way instead. It is flat ground the whole way, it is a straight shot into CityWalk, and saves about 10 minutes walking time.

I really wanna know what you take is on the size of the family suite rooms, we are going to be a group of two adults, two older teenagers, and an eight-year-old. I’ve also heard about cabana Bay being kind of rundown, and the hallways smelling musty. Are you able to speak to that at all?
@@elliesartNB we’ve never stayed in the family suite rooms but just this week saw one. They are a bit small for a larger group. They look fun but we really like two room suites. They have a few of those in the towers (Bayside and Beachside). The tower rooms in my opinion are the best for room space! They are also the newest rooms. For the musty smell, it doesn’t seem musty to me and my nose is really sensitive. I can see how some things are getting maybe faded but nothing major. Just normal wear and tear in high traffic zones. We stay in Dockside a lot too and tower 1 (to me) has a pool smell 24/7. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love that hotel, but it smells like people are coming in from the pool a lot. I don’t really get that from cabana bay. Maybe because there are so many entrances to the pool and you don’t have to walk long hallways wet at cabana? I know you didn’t ask, but since we just stayed at both dockside and cabana, the food at Cabana is so good! I swear the burger is the best burger on property!!! If you have an annual pass check every couple of days for room discounts. The price will sometimes drop the closer it gets to the date! Have a great trip!
I’d really wanted to stay at Cabana Bay because I LOVE the mid century modern theme and finally got my chance last month! Sooooo fun!!! It was just for a night so I can’t wait to go back and explore more! And you’re right about the merch…love it!!! Did I buy myself a refillable resort cup even though I was there for a single night? Absolutely!!!! Also impressed with the size of the rooms as well as their set up; easy to utilize as a family or even as 2 couples visiting together!
I’ve never in my life thought that I absolutely had to have a resort cup until Cabana Bay. They are by far the best designs out of all the Universal resorts!

Thanks for the tip! We have yet to walk to City Walk from the resorts. We will have to try it one day!
