Mark, you literally just described exactly what I have gone through in the last nine months, with the exception of the fact that there was no actual relationship. Literally the most intense friendship I've ever been in and has allowed me the space to do all the hard work on myself that I have needed. Crazy.

It is crazy how you just explained my last relationship. I was the one that kept running away and he was the chaser. When I finally realized I wanted to commit more and come back and make it work for sure, he stopped trying with me completely, it's like he was a whole different person. He said he wanted to work on it with me but he was cold the entire time. So I ended it because he couldn't communicate about anything anymore, like he gave up on me, yet he would always tell me to stay. It was very weird and confusing. I also felt betrayed because I made it a priority to always let him know how I was feeling and he said he would too, but I had to figure that he wasn't telling me things the hard way. Hope I see more clear the next time.

I have real love and don’t want it. She wants what’s best for me and what’s best for me isn’t her. I want her, not what’s best for me. I don’t want real love but I’m glad I have it.

Hey Mark, is it that the avoidant person feels like they are giving and the anxious person just keeps taking from them. And when they ask for space it turns into a blaming game.

With you til the end, but that part didn’t make sense when you’d said earlier it was people’s fears that caused them to push away

Okay so when you get to the ‘Oh shi$’ stage where you’re past pain is triggered and you want to run, what exactly is it that we need to process when we know where that pain/trigger comes from? Great video!!!

What's triggering you is what needs to be processed/examined/understood.

Thanks Mark Groves. The message was good, but I heard the same one 12 different ways my man. I was waiting for the punch line. Not trying to be a dick, I promise...seriously listen to it😂
