I can't get over all those dance moves!!! Thank you again for coming Ballinger family and Bailey you're so sweet, thank you for being so compassionate ♥️
Wow Parker! I had the exact same problem. A tonsillectomy is not scary at all. Two weeks ago, I got my tonsils out, and it was so fun! I got to eat popsicles and ice cream. The doctors are so nice as well. Much love, Emma ❤️
Not all doctors are nice but yeah, I had never needed to get my tonsils out or any source of surgery had all. I find that it sounds quite scary but who am I to say :)
Parker. I had my tonsils out when I was 8. It's not scary at all. You go to sleep and don't feel pain. Then, when you wake up, you can eat popsicles and ice cream! Jessica and Chris, its a very common surgery and Parker will most likely just find the whole thing enjoyable.
My youngest son had terrible trouble with his tonsils pretty much from birth. He would have tonsillitis every 4-6 weeks then it would take a couple of weeks to recover just ready for it to start all over. He had a terrible time breathing, especially at night and it was really affecting his development so at the age of 2 1/2 we decidedly, with the ENT Dr to remove his tonsils. He was uncomfortable for a couple of days but with carpool, ibuprofen, ice lollipop, ice cream, milk and yoghurt he was right as rain really soon. It was seriously the best thing that we ever did for him. It’s a hard decision to make putting your child under anaesthetic to have an operation but you have made the right decision, he will be so much better once it’s done and he’s recovering. Please keep us updated on him.
No worries kiddo!!❤️ u r so strong and I know u will recover and be back at gymnastics in no time!!!!💖 so many people get their tonsils removed and if anyone can do it, Parker Ballinger, you will DEFINITELY get through this!! ❤️❤️ love u and good luck buddy💞
I'm happy that Parker is going to get his health issue taken care of. But I was also really excited to hear that that Parker had an audition. He has such a passion and talent for performing. I'm rooting for his success in all he does :D
Hi Ballingers! I’ve been a huge fan since Parker was born, love you all! I’m a registered nurse who has helped performed hundreds of tonsillectomy’s on children around Parker’s age. Many times I’ve seen ENT docs prescribe anti-allergens/antibiotics up until block time is available in their OR schedule to actually perform the surgery. Not sure what your specific doctor will do, but many doctors order a Tylenol suppository once the child is asleep in the OR for post-op pain, a local anesthetic injection, administration of Afrin, as well as a paste called bismuth that will help decrease bleeding. Like I said, many doctors do different things but there are steps taken to help pain level as well as bleeding prevention! :-) Most of the time, the recovery room nurses let the kids eat popsicles as soon as they wake up! Post-op, if Parker notices or if you notice that he is swallowing a lot, this may be because of bleeding and you should go to the ER ASAP! These are just some of the things that pop into my head when I think of pediatric tonsillectomy’s. Obviously listen to all of your doctors post op directions :p Okay okay I hope I helped in some way, good luck to you all :-)
Praying for a quick healing for you sweet Parker. The dancember clips actually made me tear up a little. I don't know how I love your children so much considering we haven't ever met but I do ❤️ they remind me of a lot of the kiddos I have adored over the years. (I'm a preschool/daycare teacher). Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with the world.
Parker, I had my tonsils out at your age too. It was actually very easy! Best part about getting your tonsils out is that you get lots of ice cream and pudding after the surgery. Good luck buddy, you'll do great! #dancember
This news broke my heart 💔 Seeing them struggle is so rough to hear. I hope that everything gets better! Parker is so sweet, and loving! Your family makes me want to be a better person!
I got my tonsils out a few months ago, in June. I got strep and others sicknesses like twice a month and my tonsils were a bit enlarged too. It is nerve racking when I got to the hospital place because I have never had surgery before and I didn’t know what to expect. It only took about 15-30 minutes for my surgery to be done. The next two weeks were just me being lazy, and I didn’t eat much because my throat hurt and I didn’t realize have an appetite. I haven’t really gotten that sick only a cold, but that was really only like once in the past couple months. My recovery time took a bit longer than it might for Parker, if he gets the surgery which is probably likely, because I am older than him. Even though my throat hurt after, like a lot, it was worth it.
I hope when my husband and I start our family, our kids turn out just like yours! Free-spirited, kind, and well-behaved!! Good luck with your surgery, Parker! You got this buddy!!!
I recently got my tonsils removed at the age 18! It was rough, but it is good he is getting them out as a child, since it will be a way easier recovery!!
This exact thing happened to me at age 3! For the longest time, I was choking to the point of vomiting while I was eating, and overall having a hard time swallowing anything. Finally, we had them removed as well as my adenoids and did not have any problems afterward though my adenoids have grown back now, 17 years later. My message to Parker is: I promise you'll be just fine post surgery! Any rawness or discomfort you feel afterward won't last long. You've got this!
Jessica Your such a wonderful, inspiring mom and role model. Hope Parker’s doctor appointment went well and that his surgery will go fine! I’ll be praying for him and your family. Will also my my dad ( who happens to be a pastor) pray for him and add him to a prayer list. Hope he gets a ton of popsicles and jello after the surgery! Also, Had no idea he’s been doing acting, that’s REALLY cool! Bet he did amazing at his audition. I will also definitely checking out and donating to Dancember. Sounds like such a great cause or help and support especially since in America we tend to be more privileged to resources and materials while other countries and places don’t have many resources, food, education etc. It’s also great to give back to people and places who are in need, especially in holiday seasons as well as other times. I just love what you guys are doing, and how kind and generous you all are! Love you all SO much!💕 - Ps. What was the smoothie recipe you guys used at the beginning? It looked really good and interesting. ~Rachel✨ #dancember #feelbetterParker
I had to get my tonsils out when I was 5 years old. I remember it was a little hard to talk for a few days after, but I got to eat lots of ice cream and jello! Sending love to you Parker as you prepare for your surgery. And I hope you get the part you auditioned for! Thanks to the whole Ballinger Family for always making my day better and for spreading love and positivity. You guys are the best!
I love how positive Parker is about getting his tonsils out!!! He is a true inspiration for so many things! I also love how caring Bailey is and how we can tell she genuinely cares about all of the children in need! I love you all so much but that’s what stood out to me today!
#DANCEMBER Dear ballinger family, you have saved me. You saved me in a really hard time in my life, I’m so great full for you. I was having some family issues and I decided to watch your channel, and you guys made my day. You saved me from all of the horrible things in my life. Thank you god bless your family. I could never have asked for better you tubers than you. Wishing Parker a successful surgery and a great recovery. Merry Christmas thank you again your friend, Lucy
Bailey, that is a very good way to phrase poverty. “Some people have trouble” because of one of many thing that could happen to anyone. Any one of us could drop into a poverty level at any time due to things that happen or where we started life to begin with.
Both my kiddos had had their tonsils and adenoids removed, my oldest because of enlargement and sleep apnea due to the enlargement and my youngest had “kissing” tonsils. Parker will be a rockstar during his surgery and recovery. Lots of love and prayers for all of you!
Parker, I’m sorry you have to get surgery! My mom is actually getting surgery tomorrow, and I’m so nervous. What I keep telling myself is not to worry, think positive, and everything is going to be ok. I hope you have a great day!
It's my birthday the day you posted this, and there's no better way to end it than to watch a Ballinger Family video! The fundraiser was so sweet, I can head to sleep with an even bigger smile in place. Feel better soon Parker! xxx
parker for someone whos had there tonsils removed youll recover so quick and ur one of the strongest ppl we know and youll love being without ur tonsils u wont know there gone love u bud and goodluck
Parker’s facial expressions after you guys found out he needed surgery killed me omg 😂❤️ I wish you a successful surgery little dude, it will be great and you will definitely feel way better after it!
I've been able to hear it in his voice for a long time! One time he was singing about Duncan and every time he sang "baby" I heard that familiar tonsil voice. Glad everything is done and over with and that he was so brave!
Please read this to Parker.Don’t worry Parker! I have had a smaller surgery like that. I had a little camera out down my throat to see into my stomach. I went in to surgery and was super scared. They gave me medicine to make me tired. It also made me laugh. I even got to pick a flavor for an oxygen mask. They give you a few shots but you don’t even feel them. When you wake up you don’t remember you’re surgery. You will even get to eat popsicles! We’re here for you!
No worries, my daughter had nearly the same issue. She had large tonsils and it caused sleep apnea and snoring up until 5 yrs old and they decided it best to take them out. Her breathing when she slept used to scare the pants off me so I got her checked out and that's the diagnosis. It's always scary as a mom to hear our child needs surgery but it was really simple and it fixed her issues immediately. They are so young and resilient, she was eating solid food shortly after waking up! She was like, "What surgery?!" Meanwhile I was internally freaking out!!! Parker's gonna do fine and I sure hope he's feeling better soon, I will include him in my prayers! Duncan dancing to that snowman was the cutest thing on the internet!! 😙☃️❤🙏
Get better soon, Parker! Take it from someone who has had 16+ surgeries; think about something/someone you love as you go into surgery. It really helps with the healing process!
My 4 yr old VERY active son got his tonsils and adenoids out. The HARDEST part is getting them to relax and lay down. Lots of popsicles (not red to make sure you don’t mistake it for blood. No red jello either). It was about a 10 day recovery. Try to get activities that will keep him relaxing. Maybe tablet games or video games... my son used to snore like crazy, toss and turn in his sleep and used to stop breathing while he slept. His airway was 85% blocked. He hardly gets sick now and he sleeps great.. it was tough but worth it. He will be fine ! The only advice I can give is prepare yourself for him getting put under anesthesia. I think that was the hardest part. I wish someone would have prepared me.
I had my tonsils taken out in high school because I had tonsil stones that kept making me sick. Getting them removed is not anything to stress over! It does run in families, my dad and all of his siblings had theirs out. It makes a world of difference afterwards!!
Hiiiiiiiii please shout me out and dont worry my cousin got her tonsils removed theres nothing to worry about!I hope the surgery goes well!!Stay strong Parkie Xoxoxoxoxo
I got my tonsils out when I was little, it was really no big deal. I don't even remember the surgery and got to eat ice cream for a week after! It didn't even help with my lung issues, however. The girl I babysat a few years ago got them out when she was three, the only thing I vividly remember is the staaaanky post-tonsil breath. Like, so stanky. Good luck Parker! 💖
I have the same issue as Parker... I'm 31 and wish I could get my tonsils removed as an adult! Doctors don't want to do it. Frequent sore throats, always feeling like something is stuck in my throat... I feel his pain. Good luck Parker!
Me and my sister both had this problem with our tonsils. But, we did not have out tonsils removed until we were young adults. We both would get sick all the time, and our tonsils would become a big problem. I would get strep throat frequently, and my sister would get other illnesses. Once we got our tonsils removed, my immune system suddenly became much better. It took my sister about a year to adjust. I hardly ever get sick now. The recovery was a bit rough, but it was totally worth it. I hope Parker does well. Keeping you all in my prayers
Poor guy. He’ll be ok. My sons both had it done and it has made a HUGE difference. They don’t get the swollen tonsils as much, they don’t get the stones, and they feel so much better!
Parker.. You're so strong. If I've ever known that I had to get my tonsils removed, I would have cried and started freaking out really badly. It'll be OK, a whole new experience!
Poor little buddy I hope you can get this fixed ASAP! You’re so incredibly brave and I hope that life without tonsils is sooo much better for you!! ❤️❤️❤️
#dancember Parker I'm so sorry! But I know you'll be great 💛 I am in a vaguely similar boat; this year I've started developing seizures and I'm actually reporting from the HOSPITAL ER right now! It's been pretty scary, and I have tons of anxiety about possibly being epileptic in some way. BUT your videos and vlogmas are giving me so much comfort and joy in this time. I also have finals coming soon so my life's a mess haha but I try to keep a positive outlook like you are, because SMOOTHIES AND ICE CREAM! :D all the best of luck to your amazing family and thank you so much for being there for your audience this vlogmas!
Glad he’s getting it done! My son had the same problem and had his out at 3.(Best surgery ever!!!) Sleep apnea is scary enough in adults... it’s a nightmare when it’s your kids that have it!
Aww poor Parker! I'm so sorry he has to suffer with it. Getting them removed will be the best thing and it's a quick recovery. Sending him hugs from England. X
I had to get mine out because they were super big too! The doctors always said “WOW THOSE ARE HUGE” and then one day I had to get them out! Easy and lots of frozen ice :)
AWE! You can do it love! All of us are supporting you Parker. Look how brave you are!! Also, you will be able to do gymnastics soon after the surgery. One of my friends had their tonsils removed, and now, the are all better!!! We are hoping and praying for you, and you can do it. Just imagine it being a super fun, yet a bit scary roller coaster. Your a bit afraid to go on but once your on it you notice its okay. WE LOVE YOU CUTIE!! Good luck!
I have had the same issues as Parker. They started freshman year of college where my tonsils were so huge and full of tonsil stones. I have had Tonsilitis at least 3 times and was prescribed antibiotics to clear it each time. The blocked airways are super scary. I couldn't breathe in my sleep, either. I am glad that Parker's doctor decided to do surgery,I believe it is the best route. My doctors told me,I don't need to take mine out until it's really bad. I don't know about you,but I think not being able to breathe and having tonsilitis 3 times should warrant surgery. Anyway, good luck to Parker for his surgery and I hope that he feels so much better afterwards!
When I was 9 years old I got my tonsils out. I had very large tonsils just like you Parker and I use to get ear infections and sore throats all the time. But I know you will get through your surgery your such a strong and positive person ! After your tonsils are out you can have all the ice cream you want which is the best part! Sending you lots of love and congrats on your audition 💕💕
#Dancember!!!!!! You will be totally fine Parker! It’s very rare for anything to happen. Your doctors will take good care of you and I’ll pray for a speedy recovery and lots of ice cream for you! 💝💝💝💝💝💝🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
I had my tonsils and ademoids removed a couple months ago! the recovery process is a lot easier on a child than an adult so better he gets it out of the way now; Good luck Parker!
14:23 what a cute photo. Bailey looks so beautifully happy there and any photos with your kids and their friends is special. How nice that the kids Mum and dad were happy to bring your 2 older along.
Oh Jessica I feel your concern, this is what makes me admire mommies so much, to see how strong they can be for their family. My best wishes for you, Balligers Fam :)
#Dancecember hey Parker guess what? When I was 8 I got my tonsil and adenoids removed too.I had tonsillitis where you can’t get ride of strep throat. It was ok because I got to eat a lot of the stuff you mention but I didn’t eat for a little bit except when my mom made me and drink water everything will taste different at first,Don’t worry Parker you will do great.Just remember when you go in the room that you’ll see everyone again I was really worried but then I woke up with my parents if you have any questions bud feel free to ask.Just go in with a good mind and be happy but when are you not.You will do great bud I really hope it makes you feel better,I love you and your family.🤪😜😝😛😋😄🤩😎🤓💩
Aww bailey ❤️😭 my heart melts. I live in the philippines and there are a lot of kids who are in need. I think Jessica and christopher are doing a great job at parenting exposing their children to what the reality in other countries are makes them learn to feel empathetic of others and feel blessed and grateful and ofcourse the initiative that comes from them that they want to help. These things build a character in a person especially when theyre so young
I just got my adenoids taken out and it was so painful and I almost got my tonsils taken out and when I went to surgery it was scary because they said we may take them out when we do the surgery and I was crying before fell asleep cause I did not know what was going to happen
To be completely honest, my life would be so much worse without your family. It is something I look forward to seeing, and helps me get through my day. You always make me smile. I can alway count on your family to make me smile. I do have one question though, and that it how do you have such a perfect family? I get that they may fight off camera because that's what sibling do, but I just don't understand. You have the cutest kids on planet earth. I love vlogmas, and you guys. Thank you for sharing you journey through life.
I always had enlarged infected tonsils and I have grass allergies as well! Don’t worry Parker I got mine removed like two years ago! Don’t worry after the surgery you will get to eat ice cream! And after about a week you will be all back to normal and hardly remember what recovery was like. Now that I have no tonsils it is so much easier to breathe and I hardly get any sore throats or ear aches!! Best wishes Parker ❤️😘
You've got this Parker!!! I love how you could have a rough night and day but still be dancing and having fun as a family at the end of the day!!! AMAZING!! Thanks for cheering me up today #Dancember
Aww i hope that parker will be okay! That little cutie is so strong and I know that he will get through it. I hope that everything is all good and I'm sure it will be. And keep up the dancing! #Dancember seems wonderful :) And I came from Instagram live too
I had the same problem when I was around your age, Parker. Sleep apnea included. Just follow the instructions the doctor gives you and you will be all better soon! Enjoy all the yummy treats, they'll actually help!
Hi! Love you guise and I want to tell you my story about my tonsils. So I got strep throat so so many times. Like say I got strep throat one week, 2 weeks later I would get it again. But like Parker’s tonsils they got so big, and when I ever got strep throat it would hurt so bad and I would not be able to talk. So Parker should be happy to get his tonsils out because he will be able to breathe and obviously get popsicles and ice cream. Just to let you no after getting your tonsils out it hurts so bad. I don’t no if it will hurt Parker but it hurt me for a few weeks. Love you guys! #dancecember
I just went to the ENT today and got tubes put in my ears. You can do it Parker!!! You are definitely a lot more excited to get your tonsils taken out than I was to get tubes!! Hope you feel better!❤️❤️❤️
It's great that he's getting this done now. I was 14 when my tonsils were removed, and the older you are, the harder it is on you. The procedure itself was super simple. My surgery was set for 10 am, and I woke up at 10:20. I thought the anesthetic wore off, and they'd have to administer it again. Nope! They were already finished! 😀💛
Duncan dancing with the snowman warmed my heart, so cute❤❤❤ I had to laugh a little when parker was only thinking about the popcicles he could have after surgery😂
I had the same issue as him as an adult and I can hear his tonsils in his throat. Just wait till you hear how different he sounds after they are out. He’s going to feel so much better! Good luck Parker!
My friend went through the same thing and he came right back after the surgery. Don’t worry Parker you’re super strong and I know you will get better! Love you and your family good luck!🥰😘💞
I'm sure Parker will be fine pretty soon!!! I loved the dance moves from all of you! And it is so cool you teach the kids not only with words but also actions to share, and to spread love and compassion to others. You guys are rocking parenting and are great role models!! Love you!!!!
Poor parker :( My little sister had enlarge tonsils as well and horrible allergies and didn't sleep well for years until she finally got them removed and it made such a difference. Hope everything with parker goes great
I had my tonsils and adenoids taken out when I was about 4 (right before Kindergarten). I was super nervous but excited at the prospect of Jello and ice cream and popsicles! My mom got me a little Sesame Street book about Grover getting his tonsils taken out! After reading that, I was so excited for my surgery! All the good vibes and best wishes for you guys as you prepare for Parker's surgery! Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!
Can we talk about how Parker has an audition??? He was made for tv! Also, his excitement over Jello trumping his concern about surgery is goals!
truuuuueee

Hi
when Jessica mouthed "really scary" instead of saying it heart literally melted because she didn't want parker to hear and get scared AWWWWWW
I can't get over all those dance moves!!! Thank you again for coming Ballinger family and Bailey you're so sweet, thank you for being so compassionate ♥️

Mckenzy Chase. Omg this is the nicest story I’ve ever heard
Why do you eat ice cream and popsicles?
Yeah I had my tonsils taken out when I was younger and the only fun part was eating ice cream and getting presents from my family for being so brave
Awh Parker! Hoping for a fast and smooth recovery after surgery! And I could TOTALLY see Parker on a TV show, how exciting!

I hope bailey never changes. She is the sweetest, purest, most beautiful young woman!

It's my birthday the day you posted this, and there's no better way to end it than to watch a Ballinger Family video! The fundraiser was so sweet, I can head to sleep with an even bigger smile in place. Feel better soon Parker! xxx
Aww Parker! Good luck with surgery and enjoy those popsicles!! 😊😏😄

Bailey's getting taller n taller!
Get better soon, Parker! Take it from someone who has had 16+ surgeries; think about something/someone you love as you go into surgery. It really helps with the healing process!
How do you guys post very good vlogs everday???😊😊😂
Duncan’s dancing was so cute!
I had my tonsils taken out in high school because I had tonsil stones that kept making me sick. Getting them removed is not anything to stress over! It does run in families, my dad and all of his siblings had theirs out. It makes a world of difference afterwards!!
I'm sorry Jessica, but sometimes I find Christopher so attractive!
I totally understand! Xoxo ~Jessica
Hiiiiiiiii please shout me out and dont worry my cousin got her tonsils removed theres nothing to worry about!I hope the surgery goes well!!Stay strong Parkie Xoxoxoxoxo
Thanks for the shout out!! I was totally not expecting that 😍😍
Awesome video as always. I love your dance moves and Parkers optimism!
Hey guys! Came from the Instagram live! Parker will do great during his surgery! 😁💪 #Dancember
Poor guy. He’ll be ok. My sons both had it done and it has made a HUGE difference. They don’t get the swollen tonsils as much, they don’t get the stones, and they feel so much better!
I can only imagine how many times that selfie bear has been played with jacob and parker knowing the words 😂😂📱#dancember
Parker.. You're so strong. If I've ever known that I had to get my tonsils removed, I would have cried and started freaking out really badly. It'll be OK, a whole new experience!
#Dancember
Good luck Parker bug! You are so so loved!
You are the best and I know you won’t see this and that you most likely won’t see this but you have changed my life ilysm
Frozen ice as opposed to? 😋 Ice is, by definition, frozen. 😜
hanzi31 🙄
Good luck!
Aw poor Parker 😢 I hope he feels better
Ps. I’ve had a small surgery before and I was really scared but it ended up being nothing to worry about!!
*SAW THE TITLE AND CLICKED SO FAST!! Parker get better soon!!* 🙏🏼❤️
btw i’m a small youtuber:)
Wow! You have almost 3k subscribers! Thats definitely not small, I have 10😂🤣😂
Defiantly not a small channel, also please focus on the channel your watching instead of yourself.
I have 0
When I was 9 years old I got my tonsils out.
#dancember! Praying for you parker! You got this.
14:23 what a cute photo. Bailey looks so beautifully happy there and any photos with your kids and their friends is special. How nice that the kids Mum and dad were happy to bring your 2 older along.
oh no!! i read the title and i immediately got scared :(( ❤️❤️ sending love
Who else came rushing when you saw the notification .
I hope he has a quick recovery 😘
You've got this Parker!!! I love how you could have a rough night and day but still be dancing and having fun as a family at the end of the day!!! AMAZING!! Thanks for cheering me up today #Dancember
Aww i hope that parker will be okay! That little cutie is so strong and I know that he will get through it. I hope that everything is all good and I'm sure it will be. And keep up the dancing! #Dancember seems wonderful :) And I came from Instagram live too
Aww parker can tough through this because he is a wonderful little boy😁😁
I had the same thing we didn't notice it until I was 13. I couldn't breathe and I stayed in the ER over night. So glad you guys found it so soon.
I hope Parker is okay he is a tough nugget as strong as a piece of steel keep on dancing #dancecember
Good luck Parker I am sure you will do so well!! #dancecember
#Dancember 🤙🏽
Duncan dancing with the snowman warmed my heart, so cute❤❤❤
I had to laugh a little when parker was only thinking about the popcicles he could have after surgery😂
First and also #dancember good luck Parker just keep thinking of the popsicles and ice cream
I had the same issue as him as an adult and I can hear his tonsils in his throat. Just wait till you hear how different he sounds after they are out. He’s going to feel so much better! Good luck Parker!
I have had abnormally large tonsils my whole life but I haven't had mine taken out
Edit: my uvula connects to both my tonsils
the crazy kitkat me too!!
the crazy kitkat Has kk io
Same!!
My friend went through the same thing and he came right back after the surgery. Don’t worry Parker you’re super strong and I know you will get better! Love you and your family good luck!🥰😘💞
He should avoid milk. It leads to tonsil stones a lot.
I'm sure Parker will be fine pretty soon!!! I loved the dance moves from all of you! And it is so cool you teach the kids not only with words but also actions to share, and to spread love and compassion to others. You guys are rocking parenting and are great role models!! Love you!!!!
Omg I have a snowman like that except the batteries died
Poor parker :( My little sister had enlarge tonsils as well and horrible allergies and didn't sleep well for years until she finally got them removed and it made such a difference. Hope everything with parker goes great
Dont worry. Parker is very strong. He will do alright. Like if you agree. 😁
#dancember!!!!! 😊😊😊😊
