His playing always reminded me of a cross between Jimmy Page and Johnny Thunders. At first listen from the short clip I was like, it's okay but 10,000 volts was better. Now that I have had a chance to hear the whole song it's got a different kind of rhythm and beat. It's got a funky kind of groove to it. It's nice to hear something a little different sometimes. I think the solo sounded great. Ace's voice is the kind where you either like it or you don't. I've always thought Ace had a cool NYC accent type of voice lol. Anyway, I've been an Ace Frehley/Kiss fan since 1976. I'm 52 now so I basically grew up with them. I first saw Ace in VA at a place called the boathouse in 1989/90. Then I saw him in Saratoga NY in 94. He kicked ass both times ! Then in 1996 my dream of seeing the original line up came true. I remember seeing them at MSG and it was Amazing. I saw them again on the PC tour in 98 which was the last time I saw them live. I couldn't make the farewell tour in 2000. I stopped supporting Kiss after they split up again. To me they weren't just characters as P and G like to say. They were 4 unique people that designed their own make up ! Anyway, I think it's a good song. I'm really looking forward to buying and hearing the new record. Back into my arms is one song I've only ever heard the demo for and I think it's one of my favorite Ace tunes. I've been saying for years that man, I wish he would record a new version and put it on a record. So that's that. Thanks Ace for the years of music and good memories. Peace ✌️

I felt exactly the same about this riff vs 10,000 volts, and felt the same way after hearing this song. Fucking wow. Ace, is killing it, can't wait for this record.

I really couldn't judge it from the short clip but it's a cool riff. I just hope Ace is okay health wise. Honestly, I've seen a few recent performances and he looks bored sort of. I hope he's not having any health problems. I think Ace plays and sings a lot better when he has someone pushing him. When he's focused, he's Awesome. Lastly, I think honestly they've slowed down the tempo on some songs live. I hope they play them at the correct speed live when I go him. Just an honest review. I can't wait to buy the new record. 👍
