Sir, really helpful because I have been attained ielts test several times without "if", I only got 5.5.Apperantly, when I used to this word, I got 6 because I'm very weak in English.

The video is paramountly invaluable, yet I do think the example at 13:35 is inaccurate. Since the subjects are different, we can't use the reduced structure "in spite of + gerund" there. Anyone thinking the same?
