Im taking apart my deck to make 2, one of full agro reanimation with the Admiral, and another one lazer focused on theft effects and cast without paying mana costs with Don Andres, I used to have a Tasha Witch Queen deck, but it suffered from being too slow and focusing only on instants and sorceries, but with Andres no matter what I steal I get value, so excited to give it a go.
Admiral Brass would love Hex Parasite. Either 1 mana and 2 life or 2 mana to pull off the finality counter seems great, and they would still be 4/4 since that's not tied to the finality counter.
I know you aren’t focusing on reanimating. But Breach the Multiverse would be good too! Not only does it put stuff in the graveyard if you want to focus on the reanimating pirate plan, it also steals one planeswalker or creature from every player! I think it would solid regardless of the build you make!!
For some reason, I can't help but to think of splitting this deck into Pirates and an Anhelo/Don Andres commander decks. A lot of these cards work, and spitting out 2/2 pirates to use for Anhelo to copy everything wouldn't be bad.
@williambenson60 when it came out I had a deck with it to bounce my opponents things and steal their cards with this. Slow but fun, of course having a potential of four helped!
Hi, can you name white and green on the thriving lands? then it might make sense too keep them in, in case we get a old steal effect which needs the specific mana and you dont have treasures or so

I think the Etalis would be good to have in the deck too.
Only one fits in grixis, but is certainly a good option.
