  • Write a strong statement of intent to get admitted to your dream school. Increase your chances of getting admitted and earning a scholarship.
    NOTES
    - Always tell the truth
    - Brag about yourself without sounding like you're bragging... find the balance
    - Tell your story and why you're awesome
    - Tell your plan/vision and how this school fits into it
    - Tell why you want this school or program, and be specific

      Korea is awesome and Busan has some of the best seafood. Enjoy some Naju pears and be sure to visit Everland at least once.

    Awesome video sir.....Please can i include extracurricular activities and is it going to add extra value to my statement of intent?

    • @brighteredadmissions
      @brighteredadmissions  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, you can. Have it match what's in your resume, and phrase it as, "I am active in my community by volunteering at the local hospital" or whatever it is you do.

    You used the diction of "being a dream of mine" a lot. Perhaps some variety in the word choice will add some variety and not sound as repetitive.

      Sure thing. You could use other phrases like:
      "I've always wanted to..."
      "One of my goals is to..."
      "I have a strong internal drive to..."

      Why the the person say that?

    • @brighteredadmissions
      @brighteredadmissions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The person talking is the head of recruitment for a top 20 MBA program and has been in higher education for 10+ years. There may be slightly different advice depending on the competitiveness of the program you're applying to, but what he's covering here is solid.
