- It’s never been a BETTER time to learn to sell Pokemon cards! The market is on fire and there’s so many amazing products, sales channels, and conventions to take part it.

I find it funny that a lot of collector's don't buy and sell Pokemon cards, not for profit, but to expand their collections. In all honesty, buying low and selling high allowed me to afford bigger and older cards that I regretted selling in the past. Another good thing about being really fluid with buying and selling cards in your collection is that you really stick to what you really want, and not something as arbitrary as the internet saying you should want.
I just vended my first show this weekend and yeah - i was able to cycle out a lot of lower end stuff and pick up some higher end and a good price. I didn't really make much "profit" but i spent probably about 6-700 dollars on discounted products without tapping into my own bank account. Definitely a good gig
@@atomik22 Yeah I think what happens with a lot of us when we start out, we get caught in the hype and tend to buy then hoard everything. However, after some years in the hobby, you realize you don't need everything.... and running out of space lol. I have no need to master sets, but I do love to own a few cards I actually love.
@@irresponsible-cardboardyeah, I would rather have one 1k card instead of 1k of a bunch of random $3 singles, but if I bought that now my wife would kill me... But if I just keep card money separate from our finances and I'm constantly bringing in more, then she doesn't care 😂
Another how to for sneaker bros! Can't wait to never find msrp boxes again!!
a good add on to this would be talking about shipping materials, best places to buy in bulk, what to use/not use etc
impossible to specify where to buy, and honestly just common sense for shipping materials
that’s exactly the kind of content i’ve been hunting for too. i’ve seen a few different approaches so i’ll be posting a video series based on my personal setup with shipping, how to become a vendor, etc.
Just got back into the hobby after a 25 year hiatus, really regret not sticking with it the entire time. I would have bet anything that the modern cards were a dead end if you asked me in 2007, but it seems every single set appreciates in value. Never too late to get back in! Collecting 151 and a few other things here and there, a lot has changed since the late 90’s!

I love you, Brother. Thanks for giving me something to do, other than play Pokémon Go.
Very helpful as me and my friend and I wanted to set up a pokemon business
Hello i watched all the video, great content btw, you talked a lot about like going to conventions and selling on tcgplayer, but for non-americans thats like impossible, maybe you can do a video about that or just give some tip. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for sharing all this great info!!
Well made video. Thank you for sharing this!
Loads of info, Thanks!
cards featuring popular pokemon are valuable not only because people want to BUY them, but also because less people want to SELL them and instead keep it in their PC. Resulting in both higher demand AND lower supply. Just my $0.02
Is collectors capital also worth it if you are from Europe?
What’s your whatnot store called?
If you need a uk branch I’m in?
8:48 - do you have a source for that information? Because outside of promos and other single one-off items, I have NEVER heard of anyone ever saying Japanese stores can buy set cards outright. Surely you must have evidence or a source of this to say it in a video
What he said is false
tbh didn’t realize this wasn’t known
@@BrandonMartyn good job just completely dodging the question lol
tbh didn’t realise you made this up
absolutely not true lol. What *IS* true however is that trading in your hits to card stores is much more common in Japan, so card stores tend to be really well stocked with singles all the time.
Do you still play clash of clans to this day?
Scored a Gengar Vmax alt art and used that to pay for singles i really wanted😭🙏🏻
First week coming back to collecting and i got my first and only scale. Paid $90 for a battle style tyranitar 2 months ago and yup. Money was gone. Should have known when he only wanted Apple Pay lol user error
misspelled distribution btw
Thank you for this video

Shout out PokeNE
You trimmed your eyebrows!
This video came out at the right time because I love Japanese Pokemon products and want to delve into the Japanese TCG side of things. My question I have is what a good budget to invest and make a start-up?
as much as you want to put in! Can start with $100 and slowly buy/sell/trade your way up
Awesome video! A good dip into the the Pokemon TCG industry
Typo at 14:15 - Distribution, not Distrobution.
Great content (as always) and thank you for sharing!
I've been emailing back and forth with your employee Cory for quite a few months now trying to sell you my old Pokémon card collection. Instead of going through the buy list online, I would rather just send you all of them and then you can pick out which ones you would like to buy and don't worry about sending back the rest. I could even drive them over to one of your employees as well. Please let me know so I can finally get all of these to you!
Sit or sell prismatic sir?
