Looks like a vast improvement on the TA06 chassis, especially the battery mount which was a monumental design stuff up as far as changing battery packs is concerned. Glad I never bought one and got an XRay T4 instead.
helpful for my build on my TA07 pro- I missed the whole line up the key thing on my Diff cases, but they went together, so I'm hoping it will be fine, got the belt on, and really like the car- my first street RC car.
Nice video! I just put mine together and tested it at the track... my first run didn’t go well, after some serious chassis rolling and flipping I ended up breaking my front left c hub and lost the screws flanged tubes and spaces that were with it lol...what do you recommend I replace it with? Aluminum or same material or carbon reinforced? Any other upgrades you recommend for this chassis out of the box
Aluminum for Sure. I replaced about a dozen of these C hubs while racing and once I went aluminum it’s been all good. The flanged screws are called kingpins. And yeah that and the losing shims when it breaks is IMO the weakest part ok this car. But an upgrade and you’ll be good to race!
@@netcruzer just skimmed through your older videos, I saw you purchased the jazrider ones! Just confirming they come with all the necessary screws and flanged tubes etc?
My Associated has the same deal on the ball ends, that belt drive is awesome, definitely have the higher end tamiya parts in this kit for sure. Need that Hobbywing XR10 Pro ESC and motor combo. A main has a 25$ off coupon with any order over 250$.👍👊😎
I might pickup a HobbyWing JustStock ESC soon to replace that old LRP. A XR10 Pro is a bit of a waste since timing advance is not allowed in 17.5 Sedan or 21.5 USGT racing.
@@netcruzer you can run with no tune. That's what I do because it's just so fast and its smaller. I was super surprised how small it was for a 160 amp esc. But if there is no need for it no sense in spending the cash.👍👊😎☝️🐍

Hi, do you know if the Robinson 1860 Machined 48P Spur 60T or more, will fit on this chassis ? i searched everywhere on the net, but could find anything about that.
I was thinking of getting one but for the same price I bought an f1 style race boat that has a real outboard and it's a 720mm fibreglass hull. Also great vid hope u enjoy the car
You mount the motor in the rear then You're shocked the car oversteers exiting corners. 90% of oversteer is caused by body roll. You want a front mounted engine. You drive with the front mounted engine technique. Traxxas electronic signals are measured to be exclusive to their brand.
Tony was telling me about this feature n also I seen rc sparks did one yesterday. Idk if I can do it yet I think u have to have a certain amount of subscribers but when I can I’ll have to try it out. I was surprised I got the feature. It just showed up as an option for my channel yesterday. I'd rather have the community/non-video posting feature instead. Premiere can be confusing for those who don't know what it is, viewers think it's live and expect a live video response in some other premieres I've watched.

Case is an unknown brand, it’s a cyber power prebuilt system originally. Led front and tip panel are built in. Led strip for lighting inside and led ring fans are extras.
I forgot to mention that I didn't use the stock spur or pinion gear. Tamiya uses a weird 0.6mod gearing. So I changed it to standard 64 Pitch gears, which I have spurs and pistons in various sizes to get near a 4.00 FDR for our carpet racing track.
I've showed the progression of parts and changes along the way. I forget what I've done to it over the years to make an all in one summary. No changes for 2022 other than a USGT spec motor. I like the setup that is on it now.
Because you are a bit too late. Chat only works during the first play at time of Premiere. Yeah that's a bit frustrating and confusing and adds to FOMO stress. LOL.
I see this comment a lot, but I'm using Traxxas TQi and Link App. I have multi-model auto memory, and all the fine adjustments for exponential needed for racing on the TQi radio with app. I've not had something I wanted to do that I couldn't do yet with this TQi + Link App setup.
You might have missed the premiere window. It had a 2 minute count down timer at 11 and 8 people made it in during the premier. After 11:20 it's done and becomes a regular video with comments and you cannot add to the chat.

Curious as to if you still run this? How’s it holding up? Do you use aftermarket gearing? How is it vs the more known racing brands

Have you Seen the exotek chassis? Do you use ceramic bearings? What is a good Starting FDR for VTA/GT?
No, No, and FDR 4.0 range for a mid size track.

What kind of spur gear are you using? I am using stock and it looks different from mine. Is it something from TRF41X?
Yeah I’m using a 64 pitch spur and pinion. That’s more common in North America and I have lots of gears ⚙️ to dial in FDR for racing.

what FDR are you running and finding competitive?
4.00 FDR target, we try to get as close to that as we can for gear ratio. It's the sweet spot for our local track.

You mount the motor in the rear then You're shocked the car oversteers exiting corners.
90% of oversteer is caused by body roll.
You want a front mounted engine.
You drive with the front mounted engine technique.
