I love the fact that the hard map has a more chance of an artifact
That's what I used to think as well. BUT, according to the developers, it does not increase the chances at all
The only difference is that the hard map guarantees you will find coins/bars/artifacts that are worth as much (or more than)what you spent on the map. It is a way of making sure that if you don't get the artifact, at least you don't lose money.
The easier maps will sometimes lead to a chest that has nothing but junk that can't be sold, so you end up losing money.
@@geekfamilygaminghi, did you contact the devs & they confirmed this? Just because I have a ton of money so will only buy easy maps to speed the process of getting artefacts if so, thanks
@@helloyoukant Okay, so I'll be honest, I am no longer sure. In the original patch notes it states that harder maps have a better chance of dropping artifacts: store.steampowered.com/news/app/1211020/view/2976301713319445215 but when i posted the above, I had recently read something that said that wasn't true. I'm going to go try and find that, and double check that it was posted by one of the devs.

No.
As far as I know the only thing hard mode does is guarantee that the treasure you get out of the chest will be equal to the cost you spent on the map. So you don't lose money if it's not the artifact you want.
On easy mode the chests will sometimes just contain worthless junk, so you lose money.

I've done like 4 hard treasure hunt maps at that location and still can't get that artifact. Can anyone help?
The odds of getting it ANY artifact with treasure maps is pretty low. Getting a particular one that you're looking for is even harder. Sadly, the only advice I can really offer is to just keep trying. You'll get it eventually. The only real benefit of doing it on the hard difficulty is that at least you get coins and bars that you can trade in at the treasure vendor, so you don't LOSE money while doing it.
So it doesn't matter if you do it on easy or hard? Is it the same amount of chances?
I got the stick first try in the naborhood and the stick fell under the sidewalk and it fell out of the map

Unfortunately there is nothing special that happens for completing all the museum collections. Completing the fossil collection does get you an outfit though.

I have the spear and the pizza, the one on the island i cannot get for some reason i never get a quest by the rocket ship. How do you get the present one? I missed it on here. Also i wish theyd open the space ship already lol

This happens to me every time when I need to dig something up and it’s randomized I find like a quarter of the museum like I completed a whole selection about seashells. I wasn’t trying to. I was just trying to complete some caveman, but I get seashells.

When I was going to the X, when I got the detector, I immediately got beeping, AND OMG, I GOT THE STICKKKK AND I ONLY DID ONE HUNT!!!

me and my friend tried to get the jungle one but every time we tried we wouldn’t get it

That's all you can do. We've logged well over a thousand hours in Wobbly Life (across the different platforms) so believe me when I tell you, we feel your pain. We edit out the hours and hours we've spent trying and failing to get specific artifacts. Keep at it and you'll succeed.

Crystal one is super easy to me I don't like this one lol but at least I've gotten a few fossils from it
Been Trying to find the pizza for like a week and I think I found it once but it was glitched inside of a container 😅

If you buy the hard map you will always get back at least what you spent. Make sure you return the coins, bars and artifacts you already have to the guy next to the treasure map vendor. You should always get between $75-150 back for those and never actually lose any money.

I run over the haybales and the artifact don't come out
Unless your game somehow glitched the artifact is always under one of the hay bales. Make sure you get them all, including the ones in the field in the other side of the road.

Treasure maps only have a chance of spawning an artifact, which is why it takes sooooooo long to complete these collections. You have to just keep trying and eventually a map will give you an artifact that you need.

You have to look at where to get them then go hit haybails
why do you never show the X
Ah, I see the confusion. The treasure maps DO NOT use the X locations on the ground.
There are a few X marks the spot that are permanently located throughout Wobbly Island. These are NOT the locations from the treasure maps you buy. You can buy a metal detector and dig something up at one of these at any time WITHOUT buying a map. A few of them DO contain artifacts but most do not. You can not get ALL the artifacts just by digging at the X locations.
If you buy a treasure map and the beeping leads you to an X on the ground, that is NOT the treasure map location, it is an unfortunate coincidence. Sometimes the red circles will overlap with locations that have a permanent X on the ground. If they do, you need to keep searching within the big red circle for another location.
One way to know for sure is when you dig up a treasure from the X location the metal detector will not disappear. When you find the treasure from your map and dig it up, the metal detector WILL disappear.
