Al and Gina, You are always working on some great little projects for your homestead. Thank you for sharing! This latest coop build is really shaping up and I can't wait to see it completed.
Al, I bet you could make a small portico for New Yolk City out of scrap wood. It might help when you do get the freezing rain keep the door tracks clean. Thanks for another great video.
That cherry trim looks so good. Chickens will be living in the lap of luxury in that coop. That snack food really peaked their interest didn't it. I guess they get the blues in cold snowy weather too...can't hunt for bugs & such. Looking forward to tomorrow's move of the coop...a big toboggan on each of the skids would sure help it over the snow. Have a Blessed day.
I'm Mike from North Carolina. I've been binge watching all afternoon. I just got out of the hospital. I had 3 way bypass surgery and had to catch up. I love your family and don't like to miss you all.
Beautiful!!! I like it!!! I want one like that... but for me jijijijiji!!! It is so heat warming seeing you two work together, just love it. My husband is very sick, and having lived all our lives (40 years now) together, working in the house and then also outside of it, doing all for our two sons and sharing it all, I have the most amazing memories, a heart filled with love, and I can look back and say that we really lived a life full of LIFE, of loving, of fun, lots of work and tons of struggle, but we loved every moment of it. You will always have that too, and there is nothing better than this. Love you darling family.
I read your comment about your husband being sick I have lifted your husband up to the throne room and I've requested that our Lord and savior heal him down on compassion not only that your finances are going to greatly increase in Jesus name praise be to God Pastor Al the Masters pastor
@@allankeen5869 so very very lovely of you... my beloved hubby took his last big voyage now 10 months ago. He left us with such peace, with such tranquility and the loveliest of smiles, holding our hands and in total love. So, everyday i have the amazing possibility to receive his love, his protection and his warmth and tenderness is always with me in my heart. Thank you for your prayers, i have received them and wish you all the best, filled with love, with family and compassion for all beings.
Great job👍🤗👏 Wow so many eggs....👍🐥🐤 Heading on a vacation. Not sure when I get to drink tea with you guys.... MUCH LOVE ❤️ & HUGS🤗🤗🤗for EVERYONE 🤗🤗🤗🤗💖💃😁❣️
Love your chickens and your set up. My grandmother taught me when snow is on the ground, she used to put cayenne pepper in their mash. I also do hot pepper seeds, with the peppers, kind of cut up. Also, those little packets of hot pepper flakes you get with your pizza, I can't have, so I give to chickens in winter. They sing and lay eggs almost like it was Spring. Love your work! :-)
Chicken coop looks awesome. Every time I see Gina chop all the stem off the broccoli I want to run over and grab it. Our family loves the stem even more than the bushy top. It’s the best part of it. The meatloaf looks delicious. Another big favourite in our house.
When you installed the new chicken door I knew winter time would be a challenge with something that is motor driven. Our climate on the east coast is to cold in the winter time. Nothing beats good old fashion open and close the door yourself LOL.
Okay...in order of appearance; watching with interest the automatic door system on the coop...we’ve talked about so seeing yours in operation, is a huge help! I chuckled at, it WOOD be a waste to cut that board up because of that small piece of tear out!! 🤣 oh Lord it’s too early!! 😁 I love the cherry trim! As Gina would say, it POPS!! 😁 Olivia is going to want that for a playhouse!! Nice work on Al’s ‘opps’ with the countertop!! 👍🏻😉 gives it character and, a wicked cool memory!! Have an awesome weekend!!
It does sound like Blossom is coming back into heat. I noticed also that the bucks were doing their head butting again, like they do when the does are in heat. Meatloaf sounds so good on a cold winter's day Gina. One of my husband's favorites. Much love from OHIO ❤️❣️❣️❤️
Happy Valentines Day ! Getting close to the ceiling there guys ! Can’t wait to see it finished . L. A . County is a good name or Boston Hen House. Love you all .
The coop looks fantastic. Nice to see egg production up. I was wondering what you were doing with the broken counter edge. Glad to see it could be fixed so easily. 💖🐐🐔😺
Happy Valentine's Lumnah Family! The coop looks amazing and I pray it comes out without a hitch. I was wondering when you were going to repair the counter top. Glad you finally did that. Have a wonderful day!
Coop is looking real good guys. I like the pencil holder Gina for it tells any pencil absconders, don't mess with my pencil! Made the trip over to Littleton today, I was the passenger, so I bought b/fast. Bought a Henry rifle on the way over too... Bill on the Hill... :~)
Happy Valentine's Day ❤ to you all. I watch your videos every time one comes out. You are giving me ideas for the farm my boyfriend want to start. 🐖🐄 🐐 🐓🐴🦆🐶
Winter adds a lot of challenges. Right now my solar coop doors stopped working. The batteries don’t have enough charge to work in our -13 degree weather. I had to force open them so hope they are not damaged. Nice chicken coop those chickens are lucky birds.
Just a suggestion, you might want to run the eye bolts horizontally completely through the skids to prevent them from being pulled out, (eyes to the inside for garage door clearance). Another beautiful build.
I made shrimp alfredo tonight. Wish that you all could have tasted it. Love the vids!!!!! We are in Louisiana and have a problem with our weight! Keto diet here! It works. Hard though. We are high carbs here.
Your chicken coop build in the workshop reminds me of the boat we built in our drive way. My dad bought a houseboat kit and we put it together. Kinda felt like Noah and the Ark. Folks could not believe what they were seeing. We used that boat for a long time until we outgrew it. It later became a playhouse for some kids.
Gina, after this project, you’re going to be a Master Carpenter! Ya’ll have done so many projects, there’s nearly nothing left to build! What’s next, a guest cottage??😁
Hey Al, I was wondering if taking some of the hay/alfalfa that gets dumped on the ground by the goats, would be beneficial for the New Yolk city. By giving the chickens something to pick around in and the such, especially on the icey and snowy days. Just a thought and thanks for the videos.
Good Morning Lumnah’s. Do you have an aerial view of your property? If not can you use drone to get one and give us a tour? Show what was there before, what you knocked down, moved, built, where you want to add future projects
I think you made a perfect decision on the countertop, i had forgotten about that glue. Easy peasy!! Good job. ( That was my fathers friend back when i was a child, i had 4 rough neck brother's,,lol)
Use your Pick up Al to pull the coop out. More power. Al we all saw you break the counter top. Give him Heck Gina. Al don't you pull the string down in the chicken coop any more. Lots of snow and cold weather. Spring is coming.
For a new project consider a green house off the south side of the house with some tubing underground bringing up warmth from 5 feet down. Two youtubers that did are edible acres and oppenheimer ranch project. Opeenheimer is also building one that is underground for heat.
Good morning Lumnnah family! Remember the eyebolts will pull out of end grain. Try putting them on the inside of the runners to clear the door? Just a thought. Great video from a great team!
Gina- when meal prepping, put the bowl on your other side. Then it will be more efficient when tossing your scraps in. Looks tasty! I love meatloaf too. My favorite boss in the past didn’t have children so she’s always bring me left over meatloaf sandwiches with pickles and ketchup on em. They were so good.
Al, when bonding with epoxy, strength requires that you mix the epoxy with a filler. I like diatomaceous earth from a pool store, but q-Cell, micro balloons and cabosil also work. You can color the mix with powdered cement coloring agent. Lowes and Amazon both carry it You can fill the holes with the same stuff. Sand and buff.
Have you looked into fodder Al? I have never tried it myself yet, but have been watching videos of people growing and feeding their own fodder. It sure seems like it would work well, save money, and make quality feed. I think that I'll be experimenting with it soon myself. You should watch a few vids and see what you think.
Al this morning we were -22 and feels like-34 this morning 14 Feb 20 in the start of Wisconsin. The coop is looking good! nice job Al and Gina. I know who broke the counter AL I was watching the hot dog video.. hehehehe
CHICKAGO is looking great! Can't wait to see Rocky and his girls relaxing in their new digs! Shalom Lumnah Acres!
Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day Lumnah Family. God Bless you all.
It will be exciting to see the chicken coop outside. Love me a good meatloaf. Blessings to all.
Al and Gina you are an awesome team.

I love the little parade with all of the goats following Olivia. You could respond to the Rhodes family "parades" with goat parades.
When you installed the new chicken door I knew winter time would be a challenge with something that is motor driven. Our climate on the east coast is to cold in the winter time. Nothing beats good old fashion open and close the door yourself LOL.
Al and Gina I’m loving the new coop, great work you both have done.
Happy Valentine’s Day guys! I love the new coop. Can’t wait to see it filled with chicks.

I live in Minnesota with extreme weather too so I put my automatic door openers for my coops inside the coops. Haven't had any freeze issues.
Great idea.
Happy Valentines day to you all, this coop really is a Cluckingham Palace :)
That is a awesome name for the chicken coop . Cluckingham Palace .❤️
kittykat1807 - There is a poll on their Community page with 5 names & that is one of the 5.
Gina, you're just amazing! Love your videos and family...God bless❤🙏❤

Awesome job on the chicken coupe Gina and Al. I really loved watching you build it. You're right about the cherry wood trim it really looks great!
The new coop is looking great! Cannot wait to see how rusty and his ladies like it🤗💞 You have such a beautiful family 🙏🏻 God Bless

What memories you guys will have , being able to watch these videos of little Livvies ponytail swinging as she chases the goats .... good times !
The coop looks fantastic. Nice to see egg production up. I was wondering what you were doing with the broken counter edge. Glad to see it could be fixed so easily. 💖🐐🐔😺
How smart is Livvys!!
Happy Valentine's Lumnah Family! The coop looks amazing and I pray it comes out without a hitch. I was wondering when you were going to repair the counter top. Glad you finally did that. Have a wonderful day!
Daddy needs to build a snow mound for his little princess!🌊
All that snow removal could be redirected into a nice snowy hill.
Coop is looking great ... I can wait to see what a little weathering does to it. Thank you for sharing ❤️

I like Gina's pencil holder. That's pretty slick. 😀
The Willow waddle is so cute! Coop is awesome! It was 37 in South Texas this morning.
Winter adds a lot of challenges. Right now my solar coop doors stopped working. The batteries don’t have enough charge to work in our -13 degree weather. I had to force open them so hope they are not damaged. Nice chicken coop those chickens are lucky birds.
Happy Valentines Day to the Lumnahs another great video in the can.
Just a suggestion, you might want to run the eye bolts horizontally completely through the skids to prevent them from being pulled out, (eyes to the inside for garage door clearance). Another beautiful build.
I always fix Lima beans and stewed potatoes with my meatloaf! One of my favorite meals too!
Cherish every moment you have with your sweetheart. You never know when she won't be around anymore. I lost my sweetheart Christmas Eve. So I know
I made shrimp alfredo tonight. Wish that you all could have tasted it. Love the vids!!!!! We are in Louisiana and have a problem with our weight! Keto diet here! It works. Hard though. We are high carbs here.
Hi AL and fambam your weather makes me happy to be in AZ. I don’t like the cold 🥶 weather challenge.
Gina save stems in freezer. Then grind up the broccoli stems in food processor to make broccoli cheddar soup.
That cherry trim would look great with an oil finish ... linseed or danish ...
The ducks are just so funny! It’s amazing how I have become so attached to your animals. You care for them so lovingly.
Happy Valentine’s Day,the new coop is awesome 👏🏻
liking that coop you two do amazing work
Good morning, Gina and Al. We have -33C or -27F here in Ontario Canada this morning, and wind chills of -40... Very cold....
Thank you for giving me my daily dose of Lumnah Acres. Great job on the videos.
I love it guys
Thanks for fixing the counter!
I agree that the damage leaves history... ☮
Al and Gina doing a great job for their chickens looks like a 5* hotel (Chicken Coop).
Al build a little roof over the door lifter to keep rain and such off the controller and rope.
Love following you guys video! Nice job on the chicken house, looks great so far.
I love cooking my carrots in the instant pot. They are sweet and delicious. I use the rice setting.
Enjoyable video, good to see you and Gina working together. Hahaha @20:23 cracking eggs on the countertop - can't wait to see the replies
That’s a BEAUTIFUL chicken House ‼️
You guys always put a smile on my face, and you are a blessing to us for sure.
It's hard for me to break my counter top. Because its granite! Good luck on gluing that concrete one Al! 👍😁
That is looking great! I am really looking forward to tomorrow.
that coop looks great! i bet the chickens will appreciate their new home.
I hope you all having a great Valentine's Day
Good job on the coop it looks two good for Chuck's 😋🔨

Little P sure enjoys the feeder.
Hops in there every time.😊

I would bet money the chickens would love it, but is it worth the time and effort? I think leaving it to seed and compost the pasture might be better.
FEATHER DOWN, is my name for new chicken coop.
You should make a little roof cover to put over the box for the chicken door opener.
Good Morning Lumnah’s.
Do you have an aerial view of your property? If not can you use drone to get one and give us a tour? Show what was there before, what you knocked down, moved, built, where you want to add future projects
I am working on making a time lapse of the property over the last 5 years
Lumnah Acres
That will be an amazing video.
@@LumnahAcres yes, it'll be a great memory for all of you, Olivia has gotten so tall !
I think you made a perfect decision on the countertop, i had forgotten about that glue. Easy peasy!! Good job. ( That was my fathers friend back when i was a child, i had 4 rough neck brother's,,lol)
Happy Valentine's day to you all. Chicken coop looks nice. God Bless you and your family. ♥️🇺🇸💕
Happy Valentines! Tomorrow’s video should be interesting!😉💕
Use your Pick up Al to pull the coop out. More power. Al we all saw you break the counter top. Give him Heck Gina. Al don't you pull the string down in the chicken coop any more. Lots of snow and cold weather. Spring is coming.
1 degree here in Missouri. My chicks did not want to come out of the warm coop this morning! 🐔😀

Nice, love it!
With the chickens eating those dried worms, is just like watching Fear Factor! Lol
GREAT JOB!
Hey Al! Build a small awning over the chicken coop door and the opener and you wont ever have that issue again.
I add drained diced tomatoes and ketchup to the meat loaf then top it with an equal amount of tomato sauce and ketchup. My family loves it.
Take a drill, go under the countertop and drill some v/shallow holes, collect the dust and use it to colour your epoxy.
Fill it, mask the edge, then paint a black stripe down each side of the countertop to hide the scar, 2 inches. Or a blue stripe.
Looking good , first class chicken hotel!
JO JO IN VT 💕☃ 😊
Looking better and better. I can't wait till you get your bee's . I'm curious to know how they ship them to you all. Thanks for sharing.
I cant wait to see the coop
Morning guys Happy Valentine's Day ;)

Build some temporary skis for it and use a Jack to put them on and take them off. Just use some old plastic something. :)
