Both languages give me the opportunity to listen once and watch you demonstrate twice. It's perfect. I had trouble with other videos. I appreciate what you are doing and will continue to learn from you.
This video is the perfect thing for me right now. Your hand motions are clear, distinct, and you always show me the exact part of the thread and needle that I would need to see at every moment. It is so good that I almost don't even need the voiceover, because the words only clarify what your actions already show. Wonderful! Thank you!

@@tinxmcfee8755 Nalbinding tends to look better the further into the work you go. Don't concentrate so much on the form as the construction of the work and it'll get better with time.

First heard about this fascinating form of fabric making one week ago - truly FASCinATING -- thank you - I finally got it the first one - the chain as it were ... trying to figure out the round one now . mmmm Ok, finally got the circle but not getting the join just yet ... ah...another day -- thank you!

I gave up on thats stitch because i couldnt figure out the on the thumb thing but maybe ill try again now.. 3 day update: figured it out and making progress
Well I've only watched the vids, no actual experience at this. But I got the idea that if you used the technique in her 'pivot' video, you could effectively make new rows just by continuous zigzagging... if that makes sense. Wonder what it would look like :)
I am embarrassed to say this but I can't even get the starting loop done correctly! i.e. At 8:00 minute mark as if I would want to make a hat and start at the top.

I have not been able to find a tutorial on how to make the thumb hole, to continue making a chain detaching from the work, and then re-attaching. I tried to figure it out but cannot. I seem to have managed it once by accident, but this time I am trying to make the circle bigger/ more flexible on purpose and I seem to be struggling :/
I noticed the Round Start video had examples of increasing, but I think that was specific to that style and not something I could use now that I'm trying to enlarge with the Oslo stitch. (Correct me if I'm wrong :) )
When you want to increase (add more stitches), simply make two stitches into the same loop, first one as usual, and then the second one into the same loop.

Niklas Jiru Yes I realize that is a problem for some of us, you are not the only one. Though, unfortunately I have no time nor chances to make separate videos for Finnish and English, so think the English as a bonus ;) . Some people have found helpful to watch the video sound turned off.
The sound of your soft English voice, and the lovely sound of the Finnish was as enjoyable as the video. Despite having crocheted nearly every stitch in crocheting, as well as being able to do simple knit stitches, I have had difficulty learning Nalbinding Oslo stitch. After watching the way you start the stitch, I believe I can do it and cannot wait to start a project. I love every type of yarn craft. Thank you for your instructions, Vanda

Having the instructions repeated in English and Finish helps me because it gives me repeated visual exposure. Thank you for this video.
