And I’ve got my 78 year old mother hooked on them too! 😁 If you ever feel like fixing up a Massey Ferguson tractor, our hasn’t moved since my dad passed away in 2017. We live on 15 acres, and it’s mostly woods, but the grassy area has only been cut once since then. 😊

5:34 one of my favorite stores. I love tractor supply. The things one could build with all the bits and pieces they they have.
I like the fact that they carry all (or at least most) of the parts no other store can even order let alone have in stock.
I can't stand actually being in the store though, they play country "music". All the sad tear in your beer crap at that.
I've come to the conclusion that I'm not inbred enough to appreciate country "music". Sorry if you like it, to each their own I guess.

Reagan DID put it over the top, and I love how Diesel Dave engaged here. That man has a golden heart. The Blood is in the water now. The bus is going to be getting a lot of challengers. Lol, If you can get a back forty spot to do your tug-a-wars you can probably set up a nice pregame show for the monster jams then set up a low boy parade through town to the event… good publicity for everyone. Good to see the old tractor being brought back to life. It’s a beautiful piece of history and equipment. The available Carburetor is a testament to the longevity of those old work horses. I hope your grandpa’s tractor gets to enjoy many more miles with you.

With all the big tires you replace you need to get a forklift with forks that you can slide open and closed from the seat. Once you stand the tire up you can then open the forks and clamp to each side of the tire like a tire crane truck would and slip the tire onto your vehicle. It would also help if you had a way to hold the tie upright such as a slightly back angled plate in back and a wedge on each side to stop the tire from rolling.

I shop at TSC several times a month, been shopping there for years. I can't ever remember seeing Ford Tractor carb kits. I have seen a full line of tractor mufflers. I bought one for a Ford tractor that I put on my Honda generator. I also buy tractor paint, and hardener there. You won't find any better outdoor paint. I even painted a 73 Chevy long bed truck with tractor paint.
Next time I go I will look for tractor carb parts

There are still thousands of Ford 8N tractors in service all over the world. They use Ford Model B engines, and it has been my experience that between Tractor Supply and NAPA you can get entire engine rebuild kits, including cylinder liners, pistons, valves, seals you name it.

There are so many Ford N series tractors still around that parts are easy to be found. Do a marketplace search for tractor and several Ford N series tractors will pop up.

May i suggest soaking the carb in rust remover or carb cleaner ( which tractor supply has) and use a dremel tool with a wire wheel to really clean the carb.

I had a 1940 9N with a Frankenstein front loader on it. I ran that suckered on my farm for 7 years till I sold the farm. I loved tat tractor!! If I could figure out how to send you a pic I would. 10:53
