It's explained in the comics that every singles morpher has a slightly different way it connects with the Morphin Grid. So Lauren using the old morpher and Eric having a different/proto type like morpher is how they are able to exist
And that theory doesn't contradict the "Too Much Pink Energy is Dangerous" because due to time travel shenanigans it would of been 2 Pink rangers using the same Dino Power Coin.

I look at the Morphin Grid in the same way I look at the Speed Force for speedsters in the DC universe; it is a 'mystical force' that does whatever the writer(s) need it to do for the sake of the plot HAHA

I wish you could have mention the recent discovery of the morphin masters creating pretty much all the mythical artifacts that certain rangers get in their powers from. Also, the man made ranger powers like on light speed rescue and rpm are actually just people finding a way to borrow energy from the grid.
I always thought the morphing grid was a type of magic/sorcery that what was accessed by technology instead of spells, potions, and incantations.
It was accessed by magic incantations a few times.
The grid is basically like the force from star wars and is an enormous energy field generated by living things.

RPM even used the Morphing grid to make the zords out of vehicles.
It's even stated as such in Jungle Fury.

I always thought the morphin grid was what connected the Rangers to their powers and what protected them from taking too much damage, granted it can only take so much though and not save them from breaking limbs

I first heard it mentioned on Linkara's History of Power Rangers years ago.

In my Tabletop RPG: Power Rangers Destiny, the three Rangers tapped into it through a Sphere containing a Zeo Crystal that's filtered to prevent it from destroying human bodies.
I've explained it very similarly to the Force, it's a force of reality, binds and contains the universe, and it's capable of control and being controlled because all life has some spark of it.
They just happen to have more access due to being chosen to be Rangers.
The morphing grid is a lot like the speed force in DC comics. It exists outside of time, it's an interdimensional force. When we talk about how the quantum ranger and time force ranger can appear at the same time, it's exactly due to what is in their name, quantum and time. Both of these exist through all of time and also at no point in time. When they morph, they can pull that power from any point, past, present, or future. So in theory, you can have 2 red rangers standing next to each other, one using the power from accessing the grid at like 4am while the other accessing the grid at 7pm. Neither are actually overlapping in their connection.
So I see the morphin grid like a lot of fans do- the force from Star Wars or an unseen energy force linking all rangers empowered by it.
So my theory- with a master morpher and since both men are linked to the mastodon coin, could Zack access other morphed forms tied to that coin thru Adam? Like the ninjetti forms since both were tied to that coin and lineage now?
Just how deep does the morphin grid go and how linked are all other Rangers?
You should do a video on man-made Power Rangers like lightspeed rescue I have a theory that the technology in that world was able to access the morphing grid

Don't forget RPM, Operation Overdrive, Beast Morphers and Samurai.
Another example of the morping grid not working right but in a different way then treint and his evil clone is when Tomy had to battle a evil clone of himself that was using the green ranger powers
So true and that clone was never destroyed he was just left in colonial times when Tommy went back in time to get the rest of the rangers to bring them back and the dragon zord is the only mighty morphin zord to still technically exist except for the falcon zord being used ninja steel once as fan service

The Morphin Grid , in my opinion , is a fantasized version of what is known today as the unified field. This is a theory in quantum physics that describes a field that permeates the entire physical universe, is responsible for rendering reality, and grants consciousness to all conscious beings. In power rangers, this field is given a personality in that it uses its intellect to choose rangers throughout time, space, and alternate realities. So if it was once just a throwaway term, I think a lot of inspiration for the Morphin Grid comes from our understanding of UFT, Consciousness, The aether, or whatever other name can be used to describe the field that connects all things, all of time, and all of reality.
Not long found the channel and love the vids, would love to see you fo a video cover the basic timelines of each team of rangers or possibly as you even mentioned in this vid a monster of the week type series

Variant Comics once stated the resemblance of the Morphin Grid with the Speedforce. When I think about it, I think they're pretty similar too.

Actually a grid theory I always had was there are certain colors are more stable in the grid than others, basically more common you see this color the more stable said color is, pink is very uncommon in the teams so its probably a little unstable, but red blue and yellow are in basically every season so those colors are very stable. Part of the reason me and a friend developed that theory is partly because the teamup explosions, forever red had a bigger explosion compared to most team up explosions but it was that much bigger. Sure that much red was a strain on the morphing grid but nothing like 10 team pink rangers...or worse 10 purple rangers, an even more "unstable" color.
the reason the quantum ranger doesn't have any effect on mr. wes collins is because he is a stand alone ranger technically a team of rangers within himself, not to say hes as powerful as a team but his powers are ancient and the rest of the time forces team's power come from the future. it would go to reason a quamtum pink, yellow, blue, black, green ect. ranger can exist. as well as a true 6th ranger for time force.

The reason there was no imbalance when Lauren arrives is because she and Jaiden never are morphed at the same time, therefore we don't have 2 samurai red rangers. As for the Quantum Ranger, it's just straight up a different power than Tine Force Red. Although they're both red in color, they're drawing in 2 different powers.

What is the Morphin grid? It's the Mcguffin of the Power Rangers franchise. There was that so hard? And for those of you that don't know, a Mcguffin is a plot element that can be or do anything the plot needs it to be or do at any specific time. Ex: The Force in Star Wars.
Supposedly it's Theorized that the lightspeed Rangers found a mechanical way to tap into the grind Hence why the titanium ranger morpher is so destructive because it might be able to tap into More thoroughly than the other lightspeed ranger morphers

I guess Time Force Wes power uses Mophin from the future while Eric power use current date Also not all the Power Rangers use Mophin Guide directly such as Lightspeed, SPD etc. instead they use Mophin Tech found and replicate there own ones
When Zordon died he passed the knowledge to humans to learn how to access the Morphin Grid
As you stated, the Morphing Grid is used by villains to create evil Rangers with its power. It's not far-fetched to think that the Quantum Ranger's power would be otherworldly in nature to permit co-existence with the Red time force ranger.
OR
The other reason is that the Red Time Force Morpher comes from the future, thus not created in the Present. Thus the Red ranger of present day would be the Quantum Ranger and Eric, while the Red Ranger of the Future would be Wes/Alex.
My theory of the samurai morphers is that both red morphers have to be in use at the same time for there to be an issue. to my knowledge, they never morph at the same time so there isnt any feedback from the morphing grid. Red time force ranger and quantum ranger, I think they use different colour links to the morphing grid, much like the Red Wind Ranger and the Crimson Thunder Ranger do. the suits are built from data, so it wouldnt be too hard to slightly edit the code in the quantum morpher to change the colour of the suit.
I would like to see how everybody or you list all Morphers one through the rest starting with either whatever you find your favorite to be your favorite one to the least favorite throughout every morph or through every movie and series also would like to see how you were list thezords in single form and mega zord form

The red Time Force Ranger and The Quantum Ranger are two different power sets. The pink coin thing is because the two coins are the same
Coin from different times. However Jason’s coin ( the same one Rocky’s ancestor used) is in Jason’s possession. The Sword of light created a second Coin for the red, black, and yellow Rangers when Jason, Zach, and Trini left and the copies went Rocky, Adam and Ayiesha. As for Jayden and Lauren, my theory is this Mentor Ji has a samuraizer but doesn’t morph because the connection to the grid is in Jayden’s Samuraizer. Lauren had their fathers and the true connection to the red power. Samurai come in 7’s so Jayden’s power was in reality a Silver Samurai Ranger but disguised as Red because of the plan to hide Lauren. I always thought that when Jayden sends the others to fight with Antonio and Lauren and says he’ll be there Urymasa should have become energy merging with Jayden’s Samuraizer and releasing the Symbol for Justice. Then he shows at the as the Silver Samurai Ranger.

A possible answer to the 2 Reds in Time Force bit. As per my understanding (MMPR down to Wild Force) only specific rangers link to the grid, as far as I remember the grid collapsed in the finale of Turbo but my memory can go left and right often. I guess Zordon's definition is accurate only to Rangers he was recruiting? Turbo being a hybrid of technology and magic - bit of a cop out, I know. Also wasn't the quantum box "lost"?
Edit: what if the quantum power was meant to be a battlizer for the red ranger of time force? Instead a less likely theory that the quantum morpher was meant to be the red of its own team and because it went missing they opted to stopped manufacturing the morphers that completed the team?

How would you characterize the "morphing grid" in the 2017 PR movie? The suits in other iterations appear to be sourced from the morphing grid, but the suits in the 2017 movie appear to be alien nano-tech buried within their bodies that came from the power coins. And Zordon's mention of "the morphing grid is never wrong" being in reference to who ends up with the coins seems to be a poor use of words because, apparently, the morphing grid really sits it out and just leaves it to chance who finds the coins. Could there be a use of the extra-dimensional layer known as "the morphing grid" in that movie that I simply didn't pick up on, or do you think Zordon saying "morphing grid" in PR 2017 was just because it's a key part of the lore that just had to be mentioned, but they leaned heavily into the alien tech angle and were gun-shy of using supernatural or inter-dimensional anything?

After watching the Variant Comics Video talking about the Morphn Grid I have started seeing or rather Referring the Morphn Grid to the DC’s Speed Force also being a Comic and Superhero and what mat Fan that I am after, when he Referenced the Morphn Grid as the Power Rangers Version of The Speed Force.
I actually have a pretty decent theory as to what the quantum ranger is and then some.
the chrono morphers used by time force are part of a set of morphers, meaning a set can only have a maximum of 1 color of each if that. I feels like that's a decent explanation for ninja storm as well because they had 2 sets of morphers there as well. the quantum morpher is part of a different set. so a thought occurs and I'm surprised they never capitalized on this.
What if the rest of the morphers from the quantum set, including zords, are scattered through time?
that'd be a pretty cool storyline for boom studio, like Eric Myers retiring and passing on the quantum morpher to another silver guardian that ends up going on an adventure for the rest and a crew made up of people from other times and places. like say a power rangers legends of tomorrow
I read a fanfic that had a reason for why the Rangers do all these unnecessary flips, poses, hiyas, etc... in the story the grid was sentient and was making the Rangers do those things out of boredom and amusement.
In all honesty, it would be interesting if we finally get an actual explanation for all those things in the show or comics. XD

Well since u mentioned the color of the quantum ranger’s suit color being a shade of red abs shouldn’t be allowed by the grid to exist u should have mentioned the crimson thunder ranger in the ninja storm season cause technically he wouldn’t have been allowed to retain his powers since Shane was already the seasons red ranger and as far as light speed rescue and Tommy’s white ranger powers I think a link to the morphin grid still has to be established since Tommy’s white ranger powers were the first “man made” ranger powers cause it was never said of zordon already had the tiger zord coin being that those power were not Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger powers they were technically from Gosei Sentai Dairanger then light speed rescue followed with man made ranger who were basically fire and rescue people with ranger powers

The Power Grid generates all the Plotonium needed to power the Rangers' abilities
I think the reason the rangers would “lose” power after the destruction of a zord would be that that zord is tide to the power coin or power source. Since in future season rangers have multiple zord or are summoned differently it wouldn’t affect them. That’s why MMPR got so lost and gained so many powers
ALL Ranger teams use the Morping Grid. Without it they wouldn't be Rangers. Toei said that all Super Sentai (and therefore Power Ranger) teams fall under one of four categories: Animal, Alien, Martial Arts, and Man-made. But it doesn't matter what area a team falls under, they all have to use the Grid as their source. Even the Man-made teams like Lightspeed Rescue and Operation Overdrive relies on the Grid to fuel their powers, zords, and weapons. I believe in one of the Lightspeed Rescue episodes, Miss Fairweather even mentions the Grid.
The quantum ranger and the red time ranger probably work together because as you said it, are different rangers. It's not the same power set. Similar to the crimson ranger and the red ranger in Ninja Storm. I think when it's the EXACT power set there is an issue.

Those are 2 totally different powers in my head
With the series that have 2 of the same color ranger, like time force for instance, two totally different avenues of accessing the morphing grid. Perhaps the quantum ranger wasn't using red energy but rather the black energy in the grid, noting the black elements on the suit, my other theory is as there is a good and evil to each color there may also be a neutral avenue with neither good nor evil energy. Going back to the 6th ranger powers, and how black and green rangers interchange, (that theory is the powers with the black ranger energy is synonymous with the green, the 6th ranger powers also being in a different energy wave as well.)
Here are some of my thoughts on Morphing Grid. From what we know and what was said in the video.
Looking at Mighty Morphin. When they finally lost their powers to Rito, Zordon tells us how he found the power coins. Given how only the power coins could give passage into the command center. Does lead us to think. Zordon used the power of the coins to create his command center, and having direct access to the grid. Given him passing to current time angel grove.
We also see this in the first Power rangers Movie as well. When the rangers restored the command center after Ivan ooze destroyed it. Using their newly restored powers.
Moving on we also know that the Morphin grid was used to give the rangers, the ability to teleport via the command center and all over. But after Turbo we no longer see them travel by this method.
Also a key note to take from this. Once Ninjor restored the rangers powers of that of Ninja.
They did use the same coins but now stated their color power instead of their Zords name as before. But of course we saw that Ninjor did this to preserve their known ranger form. As well as a Ninja form with a set of powers. Also Ninjor also was created for the Alien Rangers given the shogun Zords and the Alien Rangers Zords had similarities. Proving that Ninjor had direct access himself to the Morphing grid.
Now getting to Time force. The reason the Quantum Ranger was red. Well that is easy. The Quantum Ranger had the Power of Quantum Power. Given Eric access to the Morphing Grid. Hence why he was a red ranger. Since we never see any other Quantum Rangers. On can be lead to believe that the first Morpher created is always red. Given it's a prime color throughtout the series.
We also know that Wes and his friends really have Time Force power. As their access point to the Morphing Grid.
As for Power rangers Samurai this is harder to explain but can done. Before we get there we must first go to Mystic Force. Where we see that Magic is truly really in the world of the rangers. Given Udona and Claire was sorceress. Yes Udona had a frost staff given her a white ranger form. However we know Mystic Mother (Rita Repulsa) created the wands the rangers did use to access their power. However we see Claire who doesn't have an artifact giving her power until Udona tells her of Claires mother.
Now with that piece of information we go to samurai. Where we do see them use their elements via ink and paper. Instead of Morphers. Given and knowing that their families was the descents, of the ones who first imprisoned the main villains. However we learn more when we learn about how Yellows Older sister was the one who was supposed to be the Yellow ranger but got sick. Mean she had to step up.
With that we learn that for these Rangers their was something more special about their families. So with Lauren could she have used her families power with the Morpher, To channel her brother weaker form while he had a power boost from the Shogun Power the rangers had found.
Also using Jungle Fury, We see more evidence of spiritual nature was well. Given the Rangers used their Animal Spirits and the Morphers to morph. However Dai Shi and Camile was able to have a stronger form (noted not as strong) with just their Animal Spirits.
But this is just my theories on the outliers mentioned in the video.
I read on Wikipedia, a decade ago that Lauren’s color was scarlet. But, since she had an older version of the morpher she was a red rangers for a different samurai team that no longer exists hence the name change in season two.

I don't like to think it as a power source. Dino gems, energems, rpm power boxes tend to be their source of power. But the morphing grid can be some kind of universal transporter that can summon their suits weapons and zords.

2:42 Those are just 2 different rangers wearing the same colour. Like Time Force Red and Quantum Ranger, Ninja Storm had 2 blue rangers, and Ninja Steel had 3 red rangers for a few minutes.
The grid will sometimes break its own rules, like with Forever Red.

The Morphine Grid is a like great Nextdoor Neighbor that allows you to borrow stuff.
Light Speed I would argue is the first instance of humans (military at least) finding a way to tap into the morphing grid and using some of its power.
So in RPM Dr. K actually kind of explains how they made the morphers. Essentially saying that they designed them to use an already existing field of energy. So I assume that the Lightspeed morphers do the same..? Dr. K even has an excuse for why they do callouts and why the rangers aren't just infinitely powerful. Many times in that show they run out of power and have to gain back their energy in various ways. RPM I don't think is talked about enough, in the way, they explained a lot of things through Dr. K about the ranger tech.
Side Note: In Mystic Force they quite literally use magic to become rangers so--personally--I think that the morphing grid is a fancy way of explaining magic in the power rangers universe. It is just another field of energy (created by who knows who/what) that exists within the universe and if you are someone who can "feel" this energy there would be a chance to be a ranger--if that makes sense? :)))
Also in Time Force, I think that Eric's Morpher is almost like a prototype for the morphers that will eventually become the Chronomorphers.
Honestly I find it weird that we've never gotten a huge lore dump explaining what the Grid is, is it older than our universe or did it develop alongside it, hence why the first people to use it (now that Dino Fury is canon) would have been the first Dino Rangers that the Morphing Masters created when they (correct me if I'm wrong) first ever appeared on Earth and then it wasn't used again until the MMPR team were formed or was it just always there right from the Big Bang, just no one knew it was there before Zordon created the MMPR team
Also speaking of, is Zordon a Morphing Master? Or is he just an ancient being from another planet that have been around for thousands of years before humanity that first discovered the Grid in our universe?
I don't understand why there isn't different team of power rangers at the same time. Because in the zordon era we already have the MMPR, the Alien Rangers, The Gold Zeo, Rangers, The Phantom Ranger (probably) and the Red and silver space rangers. And like you said time force red and Quantum red ranger at the same time + in Ninja storm we have 2 red rangers and 2 blue rangers. It's really confuse and i would love to see it explain in a comics or the TV series.

The quantum Ranger is different for the same reason you can have crossovers and other rangers exist at the same time. There can be more than one red ranger, there are many in Forever Red. What we cannot have are two Tine Force Red or Two MM Red rangers morphed at the exact same time.
I believe each color has a huge spectrum and a specific strand is used for each specific ranger so the Quantum likely has a different strand of the grid but it also a red ranger or gets his energy fro me the red area of the grid. He just happens to be on the same team as another person who gets energy near where his strand is within that same area of the grid.
It is interesting how some ranger teams work when I access the morphing grid. Take wild Force for example their powers are linked to the zords if the zords leave so do the powers.
But take jungle fury into instance because the students there learn how to tap in until the morphing grid naturally to the point where they can technically use their key to make their own ranger suits just look at Dashie and the jungle fury rangers and the Masters when they make the spirit rangers.
Time Force is pretty simple since the quantum Red ranger had more of a prototype Morpher while West had more of a newer version of it.
then mystic Force it's fairly simple since all their spells uses some level of the morphine grade to do so. The ranger suits are nothing more than just another spell they can learn and they technically could fight without them and still use the weapons and all the abilities without them.
I also like to believe that the Zeo rangers Zeo crystals are just some sort of natural mineral that can tap into the morphin grid and absorb the radiation like a sponge. Which explains why the zeo crystals and the rangers get stronger over time
And for all the rangers with man-made powers like lightspeed rescue, in space, turbo and, SPD and Operation overdrive. I like to believe somebody was smart enough to use a device to tap into the morphing grid. Or they probably learn how to do it by watching others since the KO 35 had a good relationship with zordon and he taught them how to do it. Which is a good fan theory that I like to believe that the Zeo rangers and the planet KO 35 taught the light speed rescue rangers how to use the morphin grid which then that tech was passed down and improved upon to Time Force and spd

I always thought of it similar to powers like "The Force."
The time force and quantum ranger here’s the way I see it they can both coaches being a red ranger because one is slightly different from the other just enough where it won’t be a complete impact of occupying the same space and time and effort it’s like it would be like taking two sets of identical twins and putting both of them in the same room with her is that duplicate but instead they would have such a slight misconstrues of DNA and everything else that they would not cancel each other out or affect each other’s essence in the timeline of quantum realms but if they were exact replica clone that would mean one of them would have to go because you can’t occupy the same space and time with the same form and exact same DNA so there is a slight difference in quantum and time even though quantum is a measurement of time but
You should do a video about where/how Zordon exists.
In time force the reason there is 2 red rangers is one is a Time force ranger & the other is a Quantum ranger which is 2 different red rangers. for all we know there are other Quantum rangers out there somewhere or they could of been destroyed ?? also one is from the future and the other is from millions of years in the past.
So to how we had two Red Rangers in Time Force, they were two different types of Red Rangers. It's for the same reason during crossovers, there wasn't an immediate danger of having the two teams be together for too long.
I really hope they did justice to gokaiger adaptation and rewrite it as proper storyline (even though it was kinda impossible). Just keep it true to its original source with some modification. Let say an inter galactic/inter dimensision scavanger who escape a tyrant empire and collects ranger powers to fight them.
The other ones for rewritting were the japanese theme rangers.
Kakuranger (Alien ranger), in my imagination the story was
A princess (white kakuranger) from hanzo clan (royal shinobi clan) which were one the guards clan for japanese ruler at that time had to flee to the future by forbiden jutsu (like flame of recca) to vangeance her family which slauthered by the demons.
She was accompanied by a servant who will teach her shinobi jutsus and accompanied her to find another worthy shinobi warriors who held her family swords.
For ninjor backstory:
One loyal guards who practiced forbiden jutsu with the princess's mother had to lose his body due to forbiden jutsu condition, then the princess's mother sealed his soul to an armor and will resurect when the princess undo the spell, and he will give the ranger the magic scroll to activate ninja megazord as hanzo clan ultimate weapons.
Then to made conflicts more complicated the princess was told that Shiba clan was related to her family attack (which was a setup from the demons).
Then from the samurai clan perspective (Shiba clan) they had to protect the emperor from the demons but they were failed due to tons of demon soldiers who attacked the castle, they wondered why Hanzo clan didn't appear to help to protect the emperor family. They were told (setup from demons) that they abandoned their duty because demon power was to huge to handle.
After that japan was ruled by tyrant empire in form of nobunaga oda. In this era japan was in chaos, the shiba survivors had to cover their identity.
Years after years in tyrant, they made an alliance with Watanabe clan (ninja storm clan) a smaller shinobi clan who lived in rural area. Shiba clan thought Watanabe clan how to create stronger weapon and Watanabe clan thought Shiba clan their combat tactics after years of preparation and planning they attack the demon empire and won. They found the a survivor with emperor bloodline and point him as the next ruler. Shiba and Watanabe become emperor's hand and lord in some area in Japan.
But the Shiba leader mind was always filled with Hanzo clan who left their duty. He ordered his decendent to find the survivors of Hanzo and collect the consequences for their coward act.
the comic books are not cannon for the tv shows so we can't use anything from the comics for the power rangers tv show
