Zombiewithabowtie this might actually be my favorite DBZA line. Possible competitor is when Tien says “Enough! I am not a spectator, I AM A WARRIOR!” I always loved Tien as a kid and wished he had more cool moments.
@@dylankornberg4892 I can never read that guy. I know, right? TFS have a lot of talent with their writing, but they really show it off with the stuff they did for 16. P.S. My favourite line for Tein is probably the one to Android 18; "YOU!! Blow yourself up or leave!! I don't care which!!"
my fav moment of DBZA is the fact that Perfect Cell and Yamcha are basically buddies, Yamcha is underappreciated in the series in general, the fact that Cell appreciates Yamcha is amazing! PERFECT CELL: Perfect. And Yamcha! What a surprise! How's it going man? YAMCHA: Oh! Uh, good. I brought towels and water bottles. PERFECT CELL: And like that, you've already contributed more than Vegeta.
@@rath3074 i already imagine Cell listing through the Z Fighters to look for some good quality food to gain more power in case for defeating Trunks, and seeing: "Krillin: got killed by Android 17" -Well, not so surprising "Tien: Killed by Android 18" -Now it's a tie again "Yamcha: suic!de" -Woah, that is unexpected. Well, Yamcha finally got more kills here, than everyone else. And... that's even more depressing... I'll need tocheer him up a little in the past, maybe, then he will make a good meal in the future, which for me will be the past, or, like, my present now, but in this moment, but for future me it will be the past, and... Ugh, dang it! I'll just sneak up on Trunks, while he is distracted.
The strongest character in the series at that moment and basically the weakest one having that convo is just so good. You'd never get a wholesome screwball to the face like that in the original.
One of the not-funny parts, but I really like when Vegeta insults Future Trunks and Piccolo looks down at Gohan and says, "Gohan, you're a good kid." So simple, but so meaningful.
Dani Erdman Random? Piccolo sees the destructive nature of a father demeaning [edit]*his son* and chooses to use that moment to make a point of being kind to Gohan as his, despite how hard, father figure. You can be a hard father, without being a fuck and this moment really illustrates that distinction.
If you watch it again you’ll see the joke was a call back. They mention how Yamcha kills himself in the future, and goku reassures him that he’s not alone. Then Vegeta says something about “not talking to bastards” and Piccolo reassures him. Not entirely random 😁
SuperKamiGuru 62 it’s an oldish movie called Se7en in one of the scenes the guy is asking what’s in the box and one of the lines of that seen is “if you kill him, he will win” it’s worded differently on abridged but I’m positive that it was a reference to that move
My favorite thing about the Change to 16 backstory is that when they play the video he says the date is May 12th which means that Gero attacked with 19 on the anniversary of his sons death which is such an overlooked added piece of depth that DBZA created that I never see anyone mention.
My favorite DBZA lines of them all: Krillin: "I was on Namek, shit got real. I got stabbed, and blown up!" Yamcha: "I was stabbed and blown up too. And dumped by the only girl I ever had!" Krillin: "Same. But you know the difference? When mine left she took all my money. When yours left, she took all *HER* money." Yamcha: ".........." Master Roshi: "....Gonna need a senzu for that one." They should have dropped one off the Krillin owned counter for that.

fact that that came full circle when the cell games started and cell greeted everyonbe then he came to tien and you could here the distain in his voice when he said tenshinhan with tien responding smugly kikohowyadoing.
Gero's son didn't became an android. 16 was modeled after him, with a simulation of his personality ( like loving birds ). DBZA makes the distinction between androids and cyborgs. For him to be his actual son, it would make him a cyborg, but he's : pure metal

"The orange hillbilly beats his kid and wife" I loved how they portrayed the outsiders perspective to the insanity of the maincast. While the original showed perplexed faces, tfs showed dialogue, misunderstandings and even chichi fainting from the shock when seeing it on tv. Ingenius
Wait, I just remembered, before those misunderstandings happened, Cell had a 60 Minutes part where he told all of DBZ lore about Goku. Did nobody watch the interview? I know Mr. Perfect Cell killed the interviewer at the end, but wasn't it being broadcasted?
Worst part is that's not even the worst of it. They regularly chill with God, one of them is the reincarnation of a dude who called himself a demon king, Goku knows devilman, pretty sure God was gone for like over a week, and out of everyone in Goku's group only Yamcha, Krillin, and Gohan haven't tried to kill or seriously injure Goku

I like how they made a point of "deconstructing" Goku's Idiot Hero character. It's definitely exaggerated, but you can't forget he did so many incredibly stupid things in canon (like, well, giving Cell a FRICKING Senzu Bean). This also allows the other characters (like Gohan) to be played as aware of the fact that Goku's an idiot. A well-intentioned incredibly strong one, but an idiot nonetheless.
rejczz to be fair it’s an F. To be honest though they don’t get paid and can actually lose money by being sued for doing this, soooo I guess the C- is appropriate.
I actually loved the change to Vegeta during the finale. The whole world kinda dropping away while he was at a loss for words looking at his dead son was far more impactful than the inner dialogue about how cell crossed a line to harmed his pride by killing his son that we did get. The “MY BABY BOY!” still hits deep.
@@meatsauce3751 Not from our perspective, but it would be a bitch to explain how you actually died on a planet light years away from our solar system and somehow managed to get back to earth alive and well.
Meat Sauce well he took out a life insurance policy on himself before they went to namek and had them send the money to his “twin brother” knowing that if he died he would just be wished back and could pretend to be his brother. Something else about the Androids I love that TFS did is actually GIVE them a true brother and sister relationship. Just hearing their dialogue they have with each other is great.
they where empty as hell in original DBZ, they where kinda weird, like, their first apearence was killing Gero refusing to follow his orders but then for some whatever reason they just decide to go Kill Goku anyways. they barely had any dialogue, they joke a little bit about how stronger they are compared to the heroes and thats it. Thats why it was freaking weird when 17 ruled the ToP in DBS and sudenly lots of people started saiyng 17 was their favorite character from DBZ, like, the hell he was, nobody cared about 17 in dbz, 18 had a little more on her side cuz of the relationship with Krilin but 17 basicaly just existed so that Cell could get a second form for Vegeta to Shine a little.
It may not fit into the original series but my favorite TFS change is the back and forth between Vegeta and Gohan on namek. The "thwartin my plans" little skit is gold in my books

Goku's pep talk with Gohan during the final Kamehameha is criminally underrated. It's written like a joke, but the things he says to Gohan are SO beautiful. Especially: "You are more than just my son. You are Son Gohan." That line has so, SO much meaning behind it I could be here all day talking about it. It doesn't look like it, but it's *powerful.* It's so beautiful I cry just thinking about it.
Yep, loys of small but great lines that better dragonball. That line actually understood the whole point behind gohan and goku in the present timeline vs future gohan and how he went about his role as a fighter in the future timeline.
They also fixed a number of plot holes in the original. Why can't Piccolo, Tien, Chiaotzu, or Yamcha use the Kaioken or the Spirit Bomb? Because they pissed off King Kai and he refused to teach them. Why does no one else ever learn instant transmission? Goku didn't learn it; he got it from eating sick aliens. The others don't have a bunch of sick aliens to eat. Why not wish back King Kai? Yamcha goofed when phrasing the wish. How did Trunks survive 18's blast, despite taking a huge blast at point-blank range and being too weak to stand? 17 got in the way. Why didn't Mr. Popo transport Goku straight to the Saiyans? He was makin' toast. I also feel like they humanized (saiyan-ized?) Vegeta a bit more by giving him his own sarcastic tender side. Him flipping off Trunks was genuinely heart-warming to watch.

the best change that TFS made that you didnt mention was Kami fusing with Piccolo and the weight that it held. Kami's reluctance in the original material seemed to be out of his worry about cell, but TFS made it into a sorrow over losing all of his own free will and the fact he had to rejoin with what was an evil side of himself.
The scene I liked way more in Abridged was when Gohan turned his rage on against Cell. He didn't become Goku Jr. He was still nerdy, but cool as fuck in his own way.
never liked dbza Gohan. Not only because he isn't funny, but because I find him boring too. In the original series I really saw gohan as a character. Because in my opinion, we can feel more emotions coming from the characters like sadness, anger, melancholy. Much of this is lost in dbza by treating everything as a joke. Great parody is an act of love. It's from people who know and love the source, but can still recognize the sillier aspects and plot wholes. The parody emphasizes this while still maintaining the great parts of the original. It's why Star Trek fans love Galaxy Quest. It even went the extra yard in turning everything they made fun of around into an awesome moment later.
I agree. While the Ocean to OG Funimation Dub is my favorite version of DBZ, DBZA is still fucking hilarious and well written at times. IMHO Early episodes haven't aged that well but they started some great gags in the series so fuck it but once we get to the second half of Namek, we get stronger character moments, Nail being part of the series and improving Piccolo, Krillin and 18, Vegeta, Tien and Yamcha along with other side characters getting more love and character respectively, list goes on. I may not follow the canon of the series over the official one but there are parts of it I wish made it into the official material along with stuff mentioned in interviews like the Androids.
Is it a hot take to say Frieza having a sophisticated British accent is way less silly than a raspy old woman's voice? Chris Ayres did great work in Kai and I'm glad they went that way.
Imagine if they did the Buu saga. We could have the same gag where Goku needs to charge the spirit bomb, and he would ask Vegeta to stall Kid Buu. "And considering how much I struggled in the ssj3 form.... I'm sure you can handle it"
The Spirit Bomb is the least reliable technique in the series. It doesn't take out Vegeta (and it hits Gohan during that fight, who just kinda bounces it back). It doesn't take out Frieza. It implodes when Goku tries it on Android 13. Future Trunks finally makes it work by using it as a sword instead of a blast. Not only does it not work on Jiren, when it hits Goku it actually makes him stronger. Also it finally took out Buu. Not a great track record though.

It's absolutely the kind of thing we'd think of Freeza doing. It's utterly demeaning to everyone else and shows how he considers them nothing but props for his amusement.
There's one small exchange between the androids that I think sums up what I love about the changes TFS made to them: "Rocket Punch!" _"Wow, really?"_ _"THAT IS SO COOL!"_
I think Piccolo and Kami's interaction on the lookout deserves an honorable mention. Kami, feeling bitter about being one with Piccolo, knowing his body would be just another prison, and that whole situation was handled much better with TFS than it was by Funimation. When TFS wants to write serious, they really do a damn good job of it.
my favorite line from dbza is without question the little exchange trunks and perfect cell have while they're fighting. "And behind all that insufferable smarm is a dead man!" "Trunks, you can't fathom the amount of dead men behind me." My jaw literally dropped. to this day i still think episode 53 is one of the best ones they ever did, including the finale.
That's pretty ironic. TFS kind of started off all the Yamcha memes and hate. I really liked Yamcha before TFS, after watching DB when I was much younger.
@@Sunaki1000 I really didn't care all that much about the cell saga. It had it moments but, it doesn't compare to most of the tournament saga to the buu saga. That season introduced more characters and development especially for Vegeta. I also mainly grew up on that saga more when I was younger.

Sternia Hoenheim That’s great and all but you’re assuming people saw/read/know about original DB. There are people TO THIS DAY who think Pilaf Gang, more specifically Mai, because she’s the only one with relevance now, was first introduced in DBS. There are people who don’t know that Demon King Piccolo was a thing or than Shenron straight up died and had to be glued back together. People usually just watched Z and moved on with the series. I bet there are a whole damn lot of people who don’t know Tien and Yamcha both beat Goku in one on one fights either
I think TFS did an amazing job with Cell himself, the way he acts, certain remarks he makes like telling Trunks that he's already killed him in another timeline and saying that 16 didn't have a soul was brilliant.
Not to mention the subtle point of 18 saying "there's a 'soulless' joke somewhere in there, but that's beneath me" about android 16 being a ginger. Then, later on, Cell makes that exact joke, saying "we both know he never had a soul!" after killing android 16. The joke WAS beneath android 18 since she's more humane, but it wasnt beneath the heartless asshole that Cell was.
I loved the PERFECT song he did, while goofy it was also menacing in a way how he was singing about the genocide he'll commit while everyone there was just shaking
The funniest part about piccolo talking to kami and nail is without a doubt, hands down, when piccolo tries to scream “NAIL GUN” i had to pause the video to dry my face from all the tears i laughed out
Huh. Ominous bit of foreshadowing of Cell's tendency to vastly underestimate the danger of attacks. (Oh how cute' is pretty much 'aw that's adorable' and both end with Cell panicking because he's about to eat a LOT of damage.
DBZA is the effect of having what in italy we call "the sense of after". After you do or perceive a thing and start thinking deeply about it, you can see how things turned out and how it could have been done better, beyond personal tastes, while in development you either consciously or not made decisions that cut off or clobbered some things. And thing is, it's extremely hard for companies to do it even while realizing it, since they all have an host of bindings they have to respect, but fanbases do not - while having their own issues by themselves. DBZA it's indeed a very good thing.
X Just Goku X Piccolo: You know how I use the Special Beam Cannon with one hand, what if I used two hands instead. Nail: Kinda like the Kamehameha? Piccolo: No, not like the Kamehameha. The Kamehameha doesn’t drill things. Kame: Neither does a cannon Piccolo: That’s what makes it special
@@logan6034 I think it's a funny way to highlight the fact that it was never shown or explicitly said that Goku even knew what the transformation does outside the power boost before coming back to Earth. It relates to the video by being another change. A small one, but a change still.

My favorite change was that they made the most serious speeches better than the original show and since they were put into a comedic version of the show they carried mkre weight and the words hit a little harder
Yeah alot of the emotional bits were better. I was never as pumped for a next episode as when goku reaches namek in dbz abridged. The next time on dbz thing just isnt as good
I'm surprised you didn't talk more about Android 16. He became so badass and so wholesome at the same time. His love for birds, his fight with Imperfect Cell (especially his lines), his final message to Gohan before dying, it's all great and makes me love the character more. And he probably has the best one liners in the whole series.
I greatly appreciate that DBZA and the spinoffs breathed life into characters otherwise long since abandoned. Yamcha forced to retire from his overly successful baseball career with a massive fortune. Nappa a Hollywood mogul and supportive mentor to Vegeta as a new father. Android 16 getting a happy, peaceful ending instead of the void. These characters are shown extra love, and it made them even more lovable.
One of my favorite changes has to be Android 16's speech to Gohan. THE DBZA version completely flipped the script, becoming a statement to man up from a fellow gentle soul that really helped to highlight both the weight of Gohan's responsibilities in fighting Cell and the consequences of not trying. It just made so much more sense to me than the canon version.
Frieza (made funnier but definitely still sadistic), Nappa (sure goofy but way more relevant than just being a mucsle head), Piccolo (with his internal dialogs and more down to earth demeanor), and Tien (made a very real character, and out-right points out what he thinks of others) are the characters best changed and still themselves made by team four star. Also I really just love the scene where Gohan turns SSJ2 and when Goku tries to get him to stop torturing Cell Gohan just throws all of Goku's dumb choices right back at him. That dialog right there should have been in the actual series.
Honestly, I don't think there's a single character where they made them worse: they only ever improved them somehow. And that's an amazing achievement given how iconic and well-developed some of the original characters were.
@@leerobbo92 "how iconic and well-developed some of the original characters were" Toriyama: *spits out drink and laughs in every character that isn't Goku*

@@RandomCorvid I don't think that was foreshadowing. Cell was implying that he was going to do the same to Piccolo (destroy his top half) when his turn came in the tournament
Also semi-perfect cell saw piccolo wash up to shore after he blew a hole in piccolo's chest and said "how is he still alive? How durable is he? ... How durable am I? ... Questions for later"
To me, the best bits of clever writing are the ones like Vegeta: Why don't you come over here and say that to my face! 16: I'm a head Vegeta: Then how about you stop while you are! And there's a really good one like that that Krillin says, but I can't think of it right now for some reason
What I like the most is when Gohan saved Vegeta from Cell near the end and everyone’s reaction was “really? To Vegeta?” It was funny, but it also helped the next scene where he says sorry.
It’s not just giving Nail and Kami more time around because they’re developed. It’s the fact that they even are developed. Nail had practically zero personality in Z and the fact that he’s interesting at all in DBZA is a huge accomplishment.
Yeah, he went from a generic honorable personality to a 'My asshole elder sent me to my death, so I might as well stick with you.' Which I prefer this better
Absolutely. He's kind of like that dick headed roommate you get annoyed with sometimes, but he actually helps pay rent and it's a good time to just shoot the shit with them.
Kami too, his "just another prison" speech before fusing was an amazing addition to a character that hadn't really been developed outside of the 23rd World Tournament arc
TFS has basically an editor's freedom while knowing the entirety of the plot prior to bringing it to life. Akira went more by the seat of his pants, but did a well enough job to keep us interested.

@@prometheus5218 You realize Toriyama isn't the one copyright claiming them, right? I mean, it's not as if Toei animation holds the copyright to the Dragon Ball anime and merchandise.
You missed my favorite - and what I think, best - change they made, though you might have deliberately not touched on it since it's in THE finale. One of the pivotal end moments of the Cell saga is the Father/Son Kamehameha, which finishes off Cell. In the original, everyone fires energy at Cell from other angles to distract him and weaken his concentration, thus allowing Gohan's Kamehameha - amplified by Goku sending him energy from Otherworld - to destroy the evil bug man. In Abridged, however, two major differences. One, the big one, Goku sends no energy, and his pep talk is about how Gohan alone can step up and take Cell, standing on his own two feet...which REALLY shows the 'passing of the torch' that part was meant to be. Second, ONLY Vegeta throws energy to distract Cell, which shows both part of his growth (willing to be an aid to someone else's victory, and his grief over Trunks) and the difference in how they've established everyone's strength.
That's... not so much a change as a return to the manga. In it, Vegeta is indeed the only one to attack, and at no point is Goku implied to give Gohan extra energy beside motivational one.
The other big change TFS made to that scene was to have Gohan decide to start the final Kamehameha on his own, and Goku comes in later to help and encourage him. Whereas the original anime has him paralyzed with indecision until Goku speaks with him and gets him to do it.

TFS is the only team that does it well, everyone else are just swearing unnecessarily with bad voice acting. It's like TFS is George Miller, and every other Abridged teams are Michael Bay.
I think BlazingAzureCrow does pretty well with their stuff. Their Digimon Tri Abridged series, I enjoy it almost as much as I enjoy DBZA. And Unlimited Blade Works Abridged was also good.
SWE (Something Witty Entertainment) and TFS are hands down the two best groups out there who do abridges as they handle their shows like they are actual shows (now sure there are probably other good groups out there and TFS and SWE are not the only ones but they are 2 of the best and most well known.
The Android backstory was not made up by TFS, but added. Toriyama created all of that backstory himself after the series was over.... they just added it in.... Basically, Toriyama knew the flaws of the characters and wrote extra background to fix it....
Before Dragon Ball Z abridged, I couldn't even be bothered to give a damn about characters like Nappa. In fact, as a kid I even though Nappa and Recoome were the same guy for some reason. Then came DBZA and changed _everything_ *Nappa:* "I am hilarious and you will quote everything I say"

honestly, i feel like DBZA actually transcended beyond parody shortly after they finished the Saiyan Saga and their production quality ramped up dramatically. I see DBZA as more of a retelling of sorts. A parody makes fun of source material, and while DBZA does that a lot, it also does an equal amount of updates, corrections and vast improvements in areas where the original just doesn't hold up, which puts it squarely in the corner of "improved retelling" or even "a reboot" of sorts. While the original Dragon Ball anime will always have a spot in my heart, I enjoy DBZA more because in many respects, it is just better. It's more entertaining, more accessable to a casual audience, it has better writing, more developed characters, plotlines, better worldbuilding. It also adds numerous little things that weren't available in the original that just enrich the experience even more. I've reintroduced countless friends to Dragon Ball again, after not being able to enjoy the original as an adult, with DBZA and they fuckin loved it. I think that says something. When a parody has to ability to rekindle love for something you liked as a kid, as well as act as a genuine replacement for the show for a lot of people, you go well beyond "just another parody". Side Note: I introduced my girlfriend to Dragon Ball with DBZA without her having any prior knowledge of the original shows. DBZA is what she thinks Dragon Ball actually is and I love it.
or its just comedy that people who hate on dragonball like seeing cause they don't have time to watch the actual show..while fans can laugh at too and nostalgic fans can rewatch some scenes they remember in a new way..everyone wins....the actual dragonball series even gt and super aren't that bad...their actually good..the toriyama hate needs to stop..he wrote a fun adventure story about a kid turning into a man but is part alien that became a martial arts story that became a save the world superhero story yet still remained focused on this kid and his progression to his heritage...not sure why so many feel the need to nitpick it when its made for kids...have they seen some of the arcs..their amazing...people act like now its simple but for its time it wasn't...its not as formulaic as people claim either..stuff does happen and other characters matter...an important scene people tend to not mention in the series is krillin breaking the controller...or tien holding back cell..these are scenes that aren't needed yet are there to give relevance to them..18 kissing krillin comes out of nowhere...krillin not stepping in since he knows in the future he dies to them is even more in character than out since he is rational and while brave isn't stupid...hes like you know what they didn't kill anyone and they just want to go after goku so im gonna let them after telling them not to..

One of the not-funny parts, but I really like when Vegeta insults Future Trunks and Piccolo looks down at Gohan and says, "Gohan, you're a good kid." So simple, but so meaningful.

Dani Erdman
Random? Piccolo sees the destructive nature of a father demeaning [edit]*his son* and chooses to use that moment to make a point of being kind to Gohan as his, despite how hard, father figure.
You can be a hard father, without being a fuck and this moment really illustrates that distinction.
If you watch it again you’ll see the joke was a call back. They mention how Yamcha kills himself in the future, and goku reassures him that he’s not alone. Then Vegeta says something about “not talking to bastards” and Piccolo reassures him. Not entirely random 😁

the best change that TFS made that you didnt mention was Kami fusing with Piccolo and the weight that it held. Kami's reluctance in the original material seemed to be out of his worry about cell, but TFS made it into a sorrow over losing all of his own free will and the fact he had to rejoin with what was an evil side of himself.

never liked dbza Gohan. Not only because he isn't funny, but because I find him boring too. In the original series I really saw gohan as a character. Because in my opinion, we can feel more emotions coming from the characters like sadness, anger, melancholy. Much of this is lost in dbza by treating everything as a joke. In conclusion, I still prefer Gohan turning ssj2 against cell in the original series, With the original soudtrack it gets even better.

So we're not gonna talk about how LittleKuriboh pretty much inspired the future of Frieza's voice in the anime and games now?

Is it a hot take to say Frieza having a sophisticated British accent is way less silly than a raspy old woman's voice? Chris Ayres did great work in Kai and I'm glad they went that way.
Imagine if they did the Buu saga. We could have the same gag where Goku needs to charge the spirit bomb, and he would ask Vegeta to stall Kid Buu. "And considering how much I struggled in the ssj3 form.... I'm sure you can handle it"
"The Namekian was right, you can hold a grudge!"
There's also a scene in which Videl fights a gangster who happens to look like Nappa. There's some possibilities there.

I think TFS did an amazing job with Cell himself, the way he acts, certain remarks he makes like telling Trunks that he's already killed him in another timeline and saying that 16 didn't have a soul was brilliant.
And being something of a masochist was funny as well.

Actually, the scene where everyone helps Gohan is anime exclusive, which is probably the reason why they didn't add it
And then he made goku the protagonist again
That's... not so much a change as a return to the manga. In it, Vegeta is indeed the only one to attack, and at no point is Goku implied to give Gohan extra energy beside motivational one.
EAT THAT HORSE !!!!!!!!!
The other big change TFS made to that scene was to have Gohan decide to start the final Kamehameha on his own, and Goku comes in later to help and encourage him. Whereas the original anime has him paralyzed with indecision until Goku speaks with him and gets him to do it.
Having Nail and Kami still present through the series was amazing!

But nobody cares about Raditz still.
honestly, i feel like DBZA actually transcended beyond parody shortly after they finished the Saiyan Saga and their production quality ramped up dramatically.
How is that possible? It says abridged before each episode. How would she not notice?
@@LordParticle People are oblivious🤷
DBZA and Red Vs Blue are quite similar, you'd probably agree if youve seen RVB, but its long and bingable so keep that in mind.
Your right honestly if you want a kind of refresher on the Z series I would recommend DBZA series a recommendation
or its just comedy that people who hate on dragonball like seeing cause they don't have time to watch the actual show..while fans can laugh at too and nostalgic fans can rewatch some scenes they remember in a new way..everyone wins....the actual dragonball series even gt and super aren't that bad...their actually good..the toriyama hate needs to stop..he wrote a fun adventure story about a kid turning into a man but is part alien that became a martial arts story that became a save the world superhero story yet still remained focused on this kid and his progression to his heritage...not sure why so many feel the need to nitpick it when its made for kids...have they seen some of the arcs..their amazing...people act like now its simple but for its time it wasn't...its not as formulaic as people claim either..stuff does happen and other characters matter...an important scene people tend to not mention in the series is krillin breaking the controller...or tien holding back cell..these are scenes that aren't needed yet are there to give relevance to them..18 kissing krillin comes out of nowhere...krillin not stepping in since he knows in the future he dies to them is even more in character than out since he is rational and while brave isn't stupid...hes like you know what they didn't kill anyone and they just want to go after goku so im gonna let them after telling them not to..
Krillian: When my GF left me, she took all MY money, when your GF left you she took all HER money
Yamcha: ...
Roshi: Hmm, gonna need a sensu for that one.
edit: Also
Cell: When Goku was your age he fought a demon, destroyed an army and he even sent a rabbit to the moon.
Trunks: ... Did... did you make that last one up?
Watched Dragonball recently. NOPE! He did NOT make it upXD it happenedXD
@@bajkotamas1610 back when the powerpole and the flying nimbus were still relevant :D
@@bajkotamas1610 Other messed up things about that episode: That rabbit literally turned Bulma into a carrot, and Goku made the rabbit a slave, forced to make marshmallow rabbits to pay for his crimes.
Ah, yes
The days when Goku was fun to watch
@@Sairiui To you. To the rest of us he continued to be fun to watch until Super took out his character out behind a barn and killed it.
