I also don't buy for a moment that any suit Iron Man has ever possessed is capable of Multiverse+ damage output. This is a keen example of Death Battle's pained tendency to drastically overreach for the sake of the outcome they wanted to find. Like constantly comparing characters to black holes, a trait that only existed before we properly understood that wasn't actually a thing. Or, more aptly, when they used the often cited evacuation of a city by the Flash to declare him to be significantly FTL+ ... and patently ignoring that the very next text bubble clearly stated that he was sub-FTL, meaning that this is NOT an accurate reflection of the Flash's abilities and simply a display that the writer was very, very bad at math.
I never noticed the foreshadowing here at 17:22 If you look at the bottom left corner, you can see Tony attempting to hack the Hellbat, which is what saves him later in the fight.

Yeah Booster did the same but he used his suit’s force field generator and used it to crush Cable into nothingness, which is kind of both unexpected and cool.
Tony probably should've just said everything else was fine once bats did that, since his whole reason for starting the fight was demanding the watch tower go down, lol.
@@josephhawkins7974 Yea but batman would have still continued to fight until he defeats tony as the whole reason he used the watch tower as a weapon was to smash tony. Also Tony's priority changed from making the watchtower offline which already happened to defeating batman who was being very dangerous to him
Bruce doesn't make suits like tony, Bruce only had 1 suit and Tony has infinite. So being honest here Bruce wasn't made or prepared for this fight like tony was which makes this fight unfair. You picked a character with only 1 suit against a person with to many. Plus batman knows when something is a trap he has detective vision in the arkham games and if he had it he would have seen Tony's trick before he pulled it.
If we're going to have Tony not be there because that's an advantage he would have actually pulled Iron Man being who he is... I'd say Batman being who he is would probably have a failsafe where he can at any moment threaten Pepper's safety knowing in this shared universe, Iron Man exists. Bats is pretty dirty.
Batman could have done the same thing though, given enough time. Sure, he personally wasn't as advanced of an engineer as Tony Stark, but then again, not many were. He did, however, have the R&D department at Wayne Enterprises who could very easily figure out how to power Batman's Suit without relying on his life force or him physically being in it. My opinion is: If Ironman and Batman were pitted against each other in a spur-of-the-moment fight with no time to prepare, Ironman wins, hands down, due to his technological edge. However, if the two were to fight knowing they were going to do so ahead of time, with plenty of time to prepare, then Bats wins, though it would be close. Tony Stark might be a better engineer than Bruce Wayne, that's a given, but he's not a better detective, fighter, or strategist than Bruce, and it's really not that close if we're being honest. Batman, if given enough time to formulate a way to beat Tony's suits, would definitely win.
That seems a bit dirty it’s a death battle the character is supposed to be there in the fight risking their life to win it’s like saying Naruto uses his shadow clone to win a fight he wasn’t actually in
I'm confused how batman ends up making these epic tech suits to fight gods And then goes back to the suit that isn't even stab proof when fighting super-villians and gangsters daily
He has a suit based on what he thinks he'll need it for. I'd say the attempted stabbings are a lot higher than the successful stabbings. He won't wear a suit made to fight a God to beat up Bill who stole some money from an ATM for a sandwich.
The suit is also a message. The idea of what a man can do. If Batman were in a suit that gave him the power of Superman, that would no longer be part of what he wants to represent.

On top of all of the different suits, there's realistically zero reason for Tony Stark to physically inhabit a suit at all, he could just remotely pilot suits.
I think there is a good reason for him to be there: he was on board the Watchtower. The first thing he did was hack it to take control of it. Most likely, it's electronically shielded from the outside, so Tony would've had to go up there personally to hack into it by accessing it directly. Plus, by not going in person so he can see with his own eyes, he'd run the risk of Batman tricking the autonomous suit and make Tony think he was giving up control of the watchtower, when actually he wasn't.
5:16 You know, in the Booster Gold vs Cable episode, the hosts joked about the booster shots being branding given Booster's desire to profit from his heroics. How much of Bruce's tech is either named after bats or has a bat on it or even is shaped like a bat?
It’s called a Death Battle. Not a hack and done fight. Also Tony attacked him after wards as payback for him not complaining after he asked nicely and Instead tried to call SUPERMAN to (unsuccessfully attempt to) kick his @$$.
An alternate ending that happens in the middle of the fight: Batman: "What did you expect, I AM BATMAN!" Iron Man: "And I...AM...IRON MAN! I'm also incredibly grateful that you actually did exactly what I asked you to do, only on a much grander scale. Seriously, I just wanted you to take the watch tower down, I didn't need you to destroy it to THAT EXTENT. Well, I'm out Bruce, good luck explaining this to the Justice League!"
He really didn't agree in the first place. He was kicked out of his armor and then blew up the other set. Also Batman still had his standard fit. It wouldn't be a man to man unless Bruce stripped down too, and then that is a very different kind of episode. Would batman still kill tony in a straight fight? Yeah, but when did Tony ever need to fight directly?
Bruce doesn't make suits like tony, Bruce only had 1 suit and Tony has infinite. So being honest here Bruce wasn't made or prepared for this fight like tony was which makes this fight unfair. @@MidTierMenace777 I say it was even. It's not the suit that makes the man but the man that makes the suit. Tony could have been playing fair and never snuck the MK-53 into his blood. If he did then Batman would've won. Batman had tons of weapons including an armor that could fight a god but unfortunately so did Tony. In fact most of Tony's threats were godlike in nature and sometimes scaled higher. I.E. Thanos who took an attack that could wipe all life in the universe. Twice. He was more well equipped and always made a plan for even the most mundane situations such as being without armor and being forced to fight while jumping from armor to armor. Batman is a genius yes but he fights in accordance with what he knows of an enemy. He never met Tony so he doesn't know what he is capable of. Batman does in fact fight gods as well but at the same time his version of the God's don't often choose him to fight and just as well, are usually too strong for him to take a direct hit and live. His Arsenal DID omit one thing and that was the Nth Metal bat armor. The fact of the matter though is that even with that armor, there's no telling whether Tony would be able to hack it or not. Regardless of what they had up their sleeves though, a battle isn't about what someone has, it's what they can do with it. Iron man just knew he might have to do something drastic and wasn't above killing his enemy whereas Bruce definitely was. Bruce COULD have just beaten Tony by goading him out of the armor and beating him to death. But he wouldn't do that. Batman isn't a character that kills. The Batman that laughs on the other hand would have killed Tony in a couple minutes.
Batman doesn't trust _anyone_ , especially not himself. And considering the event that formed and shaped him, he's probably still traumatised deep down, and desperately looking for an excuse not to shove a knife in the wound.

Oh please, he's Tony freakin' Stark. He could wreck things a THOUSAND times an it would still be chicken feed for him! He can do whatever the hell he wants!
Batman needs a hell of a lot of prep time to actually keep up to the tech oriented Ironman. Any of the tricks that Batman would throw at tony that he usually uses wouldn’t work against a guy that has tech on him at ALL TIMES ready to counter anything. With prep time the fight could possibly go to Batman. Possibly. In that situation it would be basically an undo reverse card battle 😂 But without prep time Batman couldn’t win.
Batman literally went straight to his trump card because he had no special knowledge about Iron Man to work with and it was clear his other options were already outmatched. You can't just out-plan a near-total unknown (even if DC fans will scream otherwise) that has extreme destructive capability. Tony is ridiculously smart, but he's fine with following the philosophy of "There's no punch like absolute overkill", unlike Bruce who is far more interested in just managing to subdue his opponents (so they can come back and ruin everyone's day again... a la Joker and friends).
Batman is a character that is only prepared when he knows somethings coming. Bruce doesn't know Tony, therefore was unprepared. Also Bruce makes equipment specifically tailored for scenarios, Tony makes armor for certain scenarios as well but they are more vague which is why they are more effective. Honestly, how has no one caught any of this yet, the same story has been told for almost a century now.

With the amount of gadgets Batman has on his belt I guarantee there’s an emp somewhere plus even if there’s not iron man isn’t going to be able to find Batman if he’s hiding. Yes he might be able to see in the dark but so have a bunch of Batman villains. So with the prep time Batman would win 100% of the time due to the final bat suit/ hellbreaker if Thor in the comics can slag iron man’s armor with one lightning bolt bat man’s punch that has the same power as wonder woman would have crumpled the suit in an instant not to mention the final Batsuit can rewrite Tony’s mind giving him the mind of a new born so Ironman would never actually beat bat man.
@@GhostlySalvationmehYeah, no batman is way out of his league here. An EMP wouldn't do anything to Iron Man, Tony's suits are way beyond being taken out by something so simple. Also the suits can do more than "see in the dark," Tony could track Bruce any number of ways, and given that Bat's was secretly tagged by a suit the entire fight Iron Man could have known where he was the whole time. Your last point is also literally addressed in the video, I suggest you pay attention to it before you try debunking it.

Tony and Bruce both attend an auction. Each bids on the very first item; neither backs down, and both are unfathomably rich, so the bidding war just goes back and forth for hours until the auctioneer and the rest of the crowd goes home, leaving Tony and Bruce just glaring at each other and shouting out made-up numbers back and forth while furiously jacking off. And THAT'S how you do a crossover.

Also is something that Tony couldn't do. He wasn't on Bruce's level when it came to detective work.

It's a 100% true statement, Batman can ONLY use his BEST suits one at a time as he NEEDS to be in them, Tony can use MORE than one suit at a time because he can remote control them unlike Batman who needs to personally wear each one on one at one point in time. This fight was one sided from the start!
Batman isn't fit for death battle... its just not how he wins his fights. He uses a lot more planning than this.
yea, but to be fair both of them has almost the same capabilities to planning, if batman did planned for this tony would had pull a counter plan and the same if tony does it so planning is out of the equation being meaningless, at this point all that is left is all the stuff already made
and here is where the difference between both comes, batman is good at planning, but ironman not only has superior tech but also more, way more then batman, so ironman is just ready for any situation while batman has to plan it because he doesn’t use the same trick twice
@@laraaleixei Although ironman is a technical genius, Batman has unrivalled street smarts and strategy.
Batman has beaten Lex Luther, who is also a technical genius, but still wins due to his strategic planning.
Batman can't just shoot his enemies with nuclear beams- he has to figure out a plan for each person. This seems like a weakness, but it has taught Batman how to deal with literally any problem.
I think if ironman is trying to kill Batman in there first encounter, with neither of them gaining an element of surprise, Ironman could possibly kill Batman before he escapes. But if he does, which is one of his specialties, ironman has a good chance of losing.
Edit: also, after rewatching this, I can definitely say this death battle is super biased towards ironman- Batman could have easily figured out that Ironman could hack his suit and use nano tech- he uses it multiple times in the fight, and Batman just ignores it, which is unlike him. Realistically Batman would have ran away a while ago, which is proven he could do in the beginning when he sneaks into his suit.
Overall, they make Batman really stupid in this fight. They just picked the one scenario that makes ironman win, especially because iron man planning time. They prob just did this to give the video more attention.

turns out in this fight he was really bad, man.
This made batman look like a brute force man while tony used the clever schemes. This should've been a genius mind v genius mind battle.
Possibly. In that situation it would be basically an undo reverse card battle 😂
But without prep time Batman couldn’t win.
@@coldermusic2729 Either could win. batman vs iron man should be a battle between minds. Not iron man with all the mind.
But it was, you just couldn't see it because they kept checkmating eachother so well.
I knew Batman's fate was sealed when he broke out the Hellbat so early

Bat man makes metal suits to fight stronger enemies. Tony builds stronger suits to fight stronger enemy’s.

Without the suits, who would win, let's both be honest

First is, explain how does he mastered 127 martial arts in just 6 or 7 years? does he manage to beat every master of those existing martial arts like probably every 2 weeks? at his very young age?
2nd is, Since he isn't using any enhancement drugs. Then how does his body recover so fast during a long lasting battle against super inhuman creatures, because one of the features of drug enhancements in comics and fictional stories if giving you enhance regeneration and recovery since you still does damage your body when you do physical attacks or dodging etc... Prep time is the most stupid argument ever. Any character can get prepared before a fight, in a 1v1 with their standart suits Iron Man definetely wins.
But the point of prep time is ironman is a widely recognised superhero and batman is paranoid as soon as he heats about a man who has invented suits that even come close to ironman he will research and make a plan to defeat them and alter if he discovers new information batman would have a plan in place possibly even years before this fight. Yes everyone can get prepared if they k ow a fights happening but batman does it even if he has no reason to believe he will ever fight the person. @@conorjamesR Following your logic even my grandma can defeat Superman if she gets enough time to get kryptonite. In that case whoever has more plot armor wins. When you're putting characters to fight you'd imagine them in an immediate fight, otherwise it is just senseless.
@feliperibeiro463 if we’re talking instant battle with no prep time Batman should win the fight regardless.
