To add to points 2 and 3, if you're gonna break earlyu and maintain pull height, you'll travel further so ensuring you break off perpendicular (90 degrees) to jump run ensuring you're not gonna infringe the previous or next group's break-off space and that you don't have a movement group in the mix that may be travelling towards where you think your break off space may be. it's really got to be something that you are at ninja level at so you can get to them quickly so they are aware the group has randomly increased at the earliest possible moment. if you're chasing the group till break-off cos you don't have the skills then that's really the opposite of a break off and deliberately putting other peoples lives in danger at a critical phase of the skydive!! You occasionally meet someone who you can communicate with in the sky, you know, just that look and you know what's coming. This is really the only kind of skydiver you'll get away with randomly joining their group but, as you mention in point 6, you need to pick the person and the jump quite carefully. If it's a coached jump, it's not unfair of them to ask for the coaching fee off you and also, you're potentially screwing with another family members progression. Tho ultimately I should really just be saying "don't do it", I think realistically it could be possible under the right circumstances but don't be surprised if it's your last jump of the day cos you get grounded. Don't like the food? Don't check into the hotel :)
