I agree. I've always said Eivor is the love child of Enya and Kate Bush. She also recorded Kate's song Hounds of Love on her album Larva and it has a great music video. Patty Gurdy also has a great cover of Running Up That Hill BTW
I've been a Kate Bush fan for 40+ years. In all that time, I've not heard a cover of Running Up That Hill that truly did justice to the original...until now. That Eivor's live version is nearly on par with Kate's studio version is quite remarkable. What an incredible duo they would make! I hope this or another version finds its way onto a future studio album. Well done, Eivor!
This is an excellent performance! Have you heard the live "duet" version by Spleen United and The William Blakes? Of course, when it comes to music, everything is about personal taste and you might not like it, but I think that’s an amazing version as well!
Saw her play in Manchester earlier this month and she was just wonderful. Love her ❤ There are few artists who can perform better live than on record and she's one of them.

Every time I hear Eivors voice my soul stops constricting and I feel that I can finally breathe again. The only conflict her voice brings me is wanting to keep her all to myself, but knowing the hearing and feeling her voice should be compulsory for everyone. (YOU all know what I mean) Her voice alone to me makes her the best human ever! Eivor for president of the world!

The thing about Eivor and her singing is that somehow she has the most amazing singing voice. There is a depth and warmth to it that few singers have. It's hard to put your finger on but when you hear it, you just know that it is special and fantastic.
My introduction to Eivør was her cover of Kate Bush’s Hounds of Love 14~ years ago, been in love since. Saw her on her first US tour, hope to see her again in February! 😊
