  • Welcome to Trondheim. Today’s Norway Walk through the city centre of Trondheim features the Royal Residence, market square, the central shopping area, the Church of Our Lady, Nidaros Cathedral, the Nidelva river, the old town bridge and the Bakklandet neighbourhood.

I filmed this walk on a Saturday afternoon at the very beginning of April, 2023. It was the first weekend of Norway’s long Easter break so the town is a little quieter than usual as so many Norwegians head to the mountains over Easter. We start at the fish market and the statue of the Last Viking. Enjoy the walk!

David, what a great video, it is a lovely city that you live in, we've spent several happy days walking around Trondheim shopping for shoes for Chris and eating cakes 😊

Glad you enjoyed it! I didn't go past the shoe shops unfortunately, I didn't want Chris to pester you for a return trip if she spotted one she didn't visit ;)

Norway and Europe is the best Rubbish I heard of. I am sick and my Czech account balance is zero czk. Czechia and EU refused to give me financial support or permanent job. Scandinavia refused to give me the worst thing they have, which is Asylum. I don’t have any EU benefits like EU citizenship or EU financial support or permanent English job in Switzerland. Czech people are everywhere in Czechia asking foreigners to speak fluent Czech with them. Europeans in ALL EU countries are asking foreigners to speak their native language fluent to get a job so you won’t get a job in Europe if you speak English.

Sorry but I really don’t understand this comment - and especially its relation to a video tour of Trondheim!
