@@strangequark3897 no, they mean grade. They do this in High School and College classes so students can learn from each other, because it's harder to self-correct than to correct others. The teacher can always veto a grade, but students tend to be pretty accurate anyway.

They correct people, then they look at how they themselves were corrected, this gives them the perspective of someone who’s grading a paper and makes them more open to accepting the grades they themselves get
Plus the papers are handed in to the teacher and he/she looks at it and gives it the final grade, students grading students is mostly a test of brain power it doesn’t actually take

The Industrial Revolution changed the face of Literature because of two main points, the change in scenery for many of its writers along with the accessibility of the stories. First the settings, when the industrial revolution happened, many left their countryside settings and headed into the city for work in factories. This lead many to see new sights and smells and could've inspired new types of settings within books, along with new lines of work and the challenges that came with them. For accessibility, with the advancements in machinery, it became way easier to mass produce novels which boosted the amount of readers which inspired many to write about their own stories or just ideas they had and it caused a massive influx.

There are far too many times when I find myself making an argument, and the best counter-argument that people can make in return, is to present something completely and absolutely irrelevant to the topic, the argument, or to much of anything being discussed often including itself. I put this vid into one of my lists so that I may link to it later as a linked-response to put people in their place whenever they attempt such a counter-argument.

Considering I debate everybody, and was infamous in hs for denying the wage gap myth, I'd think not. Not to mwntion they dont teach that in philosophy, maybe sociology and gender studies, but not philosophy, english, and computer science. So yeah, maybe look up the hundreds of subject of study before assuming college teaches social ideas. Millennials are progressive, yes, but college is irrelevant to that, you can thank years of indoctrination of conservative education backfiring for that one.

I was in a college class and this girl said something to the effect that Obama was going to outlaw medicine. Yes, she thought that the Obama was going to make it illegal to purchase any sort of medicine. I then proceeded with this speech.

Rebreb I know in several states, including mine, you can't buy Sudafed (the good type), without giving all of your information to be placed in a database. This was all to stop people from making meth, but we have had several older people buying "too much" according to their standards, and have been arrested. That said, what is next? Maybe nothing, but perhaps there will be more "regulated" meds to restrict what they deem to not be necessary. Just a thought.
