I've got this DVD. It's KILLER UFO with Michael. Also, pre Paul Raymond so they had Danny Peyronnel on keyboards. No Heavy Petting era. Phenomenal DVD. Another BRILLIANT DVD is The Rockpalast MSG from 1981 in Hamburg. Cozy on drums and Michael playing his usual brilliant stuff, but the recording is SCARY GOOD! A MUST HAVE for all o you Schenker-philes like me! Peace and Rock On! J
Schenker was great but the one that made this band really happening was Phil Mogg! His lyrics, melodies and his amazing singing made the songs come alive.
Michael playing some bad ass geet -tar. Anyone read Van Halen Rising and the part about Van Halen opening for UFO in around this era? Interesting if in fact true.
Well, UFO was an opening band in '75 (Winterland, Montrose headlined, Journey was second, $5...!). We did see the UFO/Rush tour in the late '70's as well, probably from the time of the live album. Played well at the shows we saw, but for me their enduring legacy are their first 3 albums with L Lyons producing. The songs and MS solos from those albums are amazing!
Might have been too early for VH to be playing anything more than the Whisky and Starwood. This clip has Danny P. on keys, right? Way before Raymond, so mid-1970s, thus VH is prolly still playing backyards at this time.
Michael Schenker after all these years still kicking ass. Michael Schenker - Hellfest 2022 Full Show th-cam.com/video/S7WCq47o_ng/w-d-xo.html. The best Michael has been.

Pete Way What a great bass player! Steve Harris said a lot of the way that he plays and his movements on stage he credits to Pete Way
They were brilliant
pure ufo sauce..
I could only imagine that opening up for UFO would be terrifying. One helluva band.
One of my favourite UFO song ...
I have this in vhs. It's great. I saw them in
texas when they had thier "Strangers in the night " out. Up and close it was awesome.
rolando soto Michael left UFO by the time SITN hit record stores. You most likely saw the Paul Chapman version of UFO. Too bad
Thanx for putting up. Excellent vid
Thanks for posting.
GREAT solo.

If it weren't for Schenker, no one would know who Mogg is.
Two of the BEST!!
Mogg's a beast. Easily one of the best!!
Killer man!!!! Nice vid thanks!
WOW!!!!! Ruv, Yoshi!!
Holy crap, Michael ripping it up!!!!!!!!!!!
Along with thin lizzy the most unappreciated hard rock act of the late 70s early 80s
ufo - there is something more than words can explain about the way ufo cooks beyond boiling hot 🔥
