I just got my motor finished and frame is being powder coated, it will be assembled before February is up, ive got about 10k in mine its Cp Industries cylinder.
Its not usually a good idea to put a master cylinder from another bike that has more caliper pistons on something else.the master cylinder piston are certain size to match performance for certain number of caliper pistons. it will still work but will either be more sensitive or less sensitive to lever pressure depending on if you went to bigger or smaller master cylinder. In other words it will lock the front tires up easier or harder depending on what you got. That could be a benefit depending on what your doing with it tho. But you lose lever feel basicaly is what happens. This is a fact.if he upgraded to the yfz450 front calipers then it would be a perfect match.
I'm in Canada to build a 421 Cub motor you're looking at eight grand for the motor alone you cannot get Cub parts in Canada so I have to order from the States pay the duties pay all the extra fees so a part that you pay $2,000 for I pay over $4,000 it's cost me almost 15 grand to build my Banshee has the same motor as Mr nasty the only difference is mines the Serval motor but I make the same horsepower numbers as a Mr nasty all day long and then you're not just going to throw that motor into a stock frame with stock suspension and expect it to handle like a beast Banshee rear swing arms are like spaghetti they Bend every which way never back straight front suspensions not too bad but obviously stock is too narrow not cheap to build these bikes for sure if you want to build something worthwhile anybody can build junk that's a nice bike though not too fancy on the FMF but other than that
