I have a sample and it is great. However, it is very simple for the price. I like it much more than terre d'hermes tho. The citrus is amazing and much less vetiver
The opening is similar to TDH but it’s mainly the grapefruit and vetiver combo that remind you of TDH. The dry down on this is very similar to Elysium PC but Perseus is much more musky and a bit sweet and Elysium is a bit more green and less musky. Perseus though projects and lasts way longer than Elysium. I got to say I am not very fond of the opening and the first 30-40 mins until it gets to that far dry down, that’s when the magic happens. It’s a bit more feminine leaning/ unisex than Elysium, but good nonetheless. If you don’t get to that 45 min. far dry down and don’t try it on skin, you are not really getting to know Perseus.
I think you should do a video on the designers that you think are worth the money. I've gotten a few that were pretty costly, for me anyway and I'm glad I did. I've noticed with certain scent DNAs I'm willing to do that. Or even certain notes. On the flip side I just got "Vintage Radio" and I love it even though I don't feel I need Paragon. Edit: If that was a video that you would want to make.😂
Awesome impressions Nate 🔥 I have actually really been enjoying Perseus so far. I understand the criticisms that it's somewhat generic (so many fresh scents are) and very similar to the Terre d' Hermes line especially Eau Givree but the materials used are too quality, and Perseus lasts long and performs great. I get at least 10 hours longevity when so many other Citrus based frags number one complaint is poor performance.
I bought it before going to sleep last night to me it sounds like it smells great but I understand what people are complaining about, I’ll have to smell it myself when it arrives.

It's VERY good. It seriously lasted 26 hours on my skin, even survived a shower. Smells like very realistic orange juice with the peel and everything. Green, orange, and a little yellow (in my head). It's a better version of Le Labo B22, which goes way too green after the juicy opening dissapears, meanwhile Perseus smells like citrus from hour 1 to 26, lol I used eau givree and this at the same time and the mid notes were similar to me, very similar, but the opening and drydwon were not. I dislike vetiver in most cases and it doesn't bother me at all in Perseus. Eau givree has a boring vetiver, earthy drydown I don't care for in comparison
Smells very similar to my bottle of TDH Eau givree to my nose, so much so I immediately passed. Great fragrance but EG is a cheaper and honestly very comparable in quality

It would be great for a designer but this ain’t on the PDM level. Smells nice but just but Hermes save money. I love PDM but not this one.

Yeah i find the Citrus does have those aspects. It leans alot more on the vetiver and woods than BDC though.
