Bandstand was an Australian musical/variety television show which screened from November 1958 to 1972. It was produced at the studios of TCN-9 in Sydney and eventually became a national program as Nine Network expanded into other Australian cities in the early 1960s.

@@victoriaferris4398 keep in mind that love, music and our spirits never die. Our twins spirit and love will always live. They dwell even in their many fans. I can feel them every time I listen to them. I was also a fan of Andy. I was heartbroken when I learned of his death. He may have been an addict but that’s part of the disease of addiction. He was loving, caring younger brother to his older brothers. They were a very loving family and were devastated when He passed away. Of course back then you never got the truth about the way he died. That alone would devastate the parents and siblings. How the parents suffered losing Andy. I am the mother of 2 sons, no daughters. Just the thought of losing either of my sons is more than I can even imagine. Barbara Gibb lost 3 sons. How sad.

It's so cute to see them so young. Their personalities just hinting at what they will be as men..Barry still the big brother, so mature & protective . It is sweet. And Robin was such a performer. Not afraid to express himself. And quiet, reserved Maurice.

Lol, Robin never played trumpet, he did learn the keyboard though. They say that Maurice played a dozen different instruments just because he enjoyed it, although he did use some of them in their music of course. They were all blessed with incredible musical talents by God. I bet that people originally watching these shows never thought that they would become world famous and be in the songwriters hall of fame and the rock and roll hall of fame.

Love these guys so much. The HBO doc made me love them all over again and gutted for the loss of Andy and the twins. With Robin being such a young showman, one might imagine future conflicts could arise between two strong personalities and voices, Mo being the super talented man in the middle. Most of the time it's the agents and the powers that be, gets the artists to change, like that Epstein, when he became agent to the Beatles, got them to get rid of the 1950s hairstyles and go for the silly mophead look and the identical clothing, it's like Elvis if it hadn't been for that con artist Tom Parker, who purchased the colonel title Elvis would've had a better film and musical career, but tom Parker, prevented him from making better films and because of Tom, he missed out of recording the Dolly Parton song I'll always love you etc

Barry with his Cliff Richard look or perhaps Elvis as Elvis did start a trend with the hair style. We can see just how greater they would become being SO talented here at a young age. They were determined to succeed in their chosen career. It would only be uphill from here & nothing was going to stop them. Watch out guys the 70's is coming & beyond that.
