My first car was 1992 Chevy S10, it was tiny but made completely out of steel and the back bumper wa THIICK. Our high-school only had 150 parking spots and our grad class was just under a thousand kids. So 99% of the time there were no fucking spots and you had to park on the streets around the school. Thing is, every other place to park all had max 2 hour parking signs around them. So craftily me and the boys went out around 3 in the morning, every couple of months and just fuckin smoked those parking signs with the back of the truck.
I always see crazy homeless people on the dividers between roads and wonder “Are they homeless because they are crazy? Or crazy because they are homeless?” Kind of like a Schrodingers Hobo situation.

I backed a work van into a Vespa scooter and knocked it over in San Francisco. Some black guy looking out the window said “Hey that’s my scooter!”, so I waited for him to come out. We both picked up the scooter and it just had some scratches on the side. He tried to shake me down for cash but I didn’t have any. I told him I could give him the insurance info. He just looked and said “It’s just some scratches, it okay.” At that time I realized it wasn’t his scooter he just wanted to shake me down for some cash. I looked at him and smirked a little and just asked “Are you sure?” He realized I was on to him and smirked back and said “Yeah”. Then I just went about my day with the fake satisfaction of doing the right thing.
