Thanks for the update and hope and wish you well on the treatment ….. well done Graham on weight loss - that’s a ‘turkey’ you have lost - amazing Keep trucking guys and enjoy your travels
Thank you for updating us. Graham has done so well. Sorry to hear Ellie that you've had some not so good news, but you are so positive that i think that will hopefully help you as well as medication. Sending my very best wishes to you both
So sorry to hear about Ellie's decision but I'm sure you'll make the right one for you. Well done Graham on your weight lost. Glad to hear doggies are doing ok please give them extra cuddles xxx Looking forward to your next vlog xxxx
I had the flu jab when it first came out I was so ill, I said never again. I had the first 2 covid vaccines, the first was fine the 2nd changed my life, I've not been able to work due to light-headedness and memory issues. My Dr's no help and puts it down to anxiety. Xx Very good Graham xx
Hi Yvonne. That’s awful. You poor lady. There were so many Covid vaccines weren’t there? So sorry to hear of your experience with the Covid and also flu jab. Often subsequent vaccines are better but I guess it’s not a given is it? Really hope you will improve in time. Take care of yourself ❤️🙏
Thanks Karl. I hope your travels in Spain are working out well for you and you’ve been able to avoid some of the rain we hear about. I’m sure it’s mostly sunny ☀️. Had a good period of weather here in South Wales actually. Drive carefully. 🚐🙏🧙♂️
Appreciate your update, thank you very much. Keep up the good work, Graham, with the loss of every gramm you will feel better. 👍Well done. 👍 I am sorry for your not so good news, dear Ellie, I can comprehend your situation so well, because I'm in a similar position. Early menopause (in my case), thin stature, within two years two rounds of chemotherapy (actually third to last infusion), so osteoporosis is always a topic. But I resist with indoor rowing for many years, yoga like you do and keep moving almost every day. Working out with weights is the only thing I additionally should do, but my goog old, worn joints ... ☺ But we can make it, Ellie, I'm convinced! Wish you all the best, take care, Gabriela 👋🌝
Hi Gabriela. What an inspiration you are ❤️ keep up the good work! It sounds like you are doing everything you can to keep your bones healthy. Our ‘bone’ journeys sound very similar. I’ve always been fairly thin, and had lots of chemo like you. I’m reading up on everything I can, with a view to making some sort of plan. Then I can just implement it ( ha ha) I have started doing a few weights ( at home. Nothing too heavy) plus physio, plus yoga and walking. Diet may need modifying. Haven’t tried rowing though. Takes a lot of time doing all this stuff though doesn’t it? I’m sure it will be worth it! Take care of yourself ❤️😊👍
Well done on the weight loss, Graham, you’ll have that diabetes reversed in no time 👍 Sorry to hear your news, Ellie. Hope you find a treatment solution that is best for you. Good to see you both smiling and we look forward to watching your next adventure. Take care ❤
Hi both. Hope you’re doing well too Ken🤞. We are rather behind with TH-cam at the moment as you know. Look forward to catching up! Take care and safe travels ❤️👍😊
Thanks for the update and praying that Graham’s results, Ellie’s medication and the fur gals will be alright. Jazz is definitely telling you that she is happy and excited since her cute tail doesn’t stop wagging. My maltipoo is also like that when she gets excited or happy. Take care and stay positive. With a positive attitude, good health will come!
Thanks Sophia ❤️. Staying positive is definitely key! Jazzy is such a little optimist who always makes us smile despite all her health issues. Such a good example of positivity 😉We will get there. Take care ❤️👍😊
Well done on your positivity. That goes a long way in helping you stay well. Hope you get some great additional advice on the infusion, Ellie. Stay well! N&Nx
Thanks both❤️100% with you on the positivity. Just try to take things one day at a time. We do miss having time to edit/film as much as we try to get our heads round it. But we will get there. Safe travels ❤️👍😊
Gosh it’s so difficult and must be taking up so much time on top of everything else. So sorry to hear your news Ellie. But you alway seem so positive so just keep going and hopefully the decision will come to you over time. And well Graham for the weight loss - that’s some achievement!! I really do need to do something about mine soon. The RSPB is a strange one - we were members but always found the reserves were rammed. So now belong to the Wildlife Trusts as our local reserve is one. Love that crazy Cozy Powell sequence again 😃😃 Stay safe and stay as well as poss you two.
Thank you both. Your lovely comments really help us ❤️. Graham has found the weight loss ok so far. Just slower than he would like 😉I’m busy doing all the research I can about my bones before making a decision 😬 . Luckily Merlin is a great motivator to stay as fit and active as possible! Take care and safe travels ❤️😊👍
Sorry to hear of your health Ellie and I hope that everything goes well for you, and well done Graham on your weight loss, fingers crossed for positive results ❤
Well done Graham on the weight loss. Sorry to hear about you Ellie and I hope that you make a decision that you are happy with. Jazz is such a sweetie. The joy of watching children enjoy themselves in nature is something money can’t buy. Loved Grahams ending sequence. Take care Gill
Thanks Gill❤️. The drum sequence was 👌🏼wasn’t it 🤣? Hope you are well. Graham is doing very well so far. The tricky bit is going to be handling Christmas as we both love sweets and chocolate 😬 I’ve resisted mince pies so far. ( unheard of 🤣Usually as soon as they hit the shelves I’m eating them! ) take care ❤️😊👍
Firstly nice to hear from you both again. Well done Graham that’s brilliant, Sorry to hear your news Ellie - sounds like a difficult decision for you. Look forward to your videos when you are ready. Love to you both and the doggies of course, David & Rachel ❤
Thank you both and lovely Roxy ❤️. Hope you are well. It does feel like there’s rather a lot going on at the moment! We do miss having more time for filming and editing and also for catching up properly with everyone. Do take care both ❤️👍😊
Lovely to see you enjoying the sunshine and sorry Ellie to hear your news. I'm sure you will make the right decision that is best for you. Well done Graham on your weight loss - huge achievement. Miss your videos but appreciate the update. Btw I'm enjoying the sunshine as I'm currently in Australia - weather is a bit different to that of the Outer Hebrides! :)
Yes I bet the weather is in stark contrast to OH. Thanks for your kind message and hopefully we will be back to normal in the near future. Stay safe on your travels. 🚐🧙♂️🐶🐶🐶🙏👍
Thanks for the update. Well done on the weight loss, I am at 15kg for the year and a lot more needs to go. Sorry to hear your news Ellie hope they can come up with something that works, I have an on off relationship with the RSPB currently not a member due to height barriers when we were last down south. Take care stay safe.
Hi both. Thanks for commenting ❤️Well done losing 15kg! Keep up the good work. Takes time doesn’t it? Our RSPB membership pack has finally arrived 🤣. Only taken 6 years! If I wasn’t a crazy bird lady I would have cancelled years ago 😉. Take care both of you 👍❤️😊
Hi David. Well done you as well on the 15kg. It can be a hard slog. I’m trying to change for the long term and hopefully it will work. I have to say I do feel a lot better. Yes I saw one of your vlogs where you were talking about it. Bunging in height barriers to stop folks who are self contained is madness. Hope you are both good. Take care yourself. 🙏🥰🧙♂️🐟
Thanks for the update, yes miss the vlogs but your health and wellbeing are the most important thing. Hope things improve 🙏. Glad to hear the 🐕's are doing reasonable - definitely know the feeling. Take care and catch up soon 👍
Hi Tim and Rachel. You certainly do know the feeling ❤️We are doing OK thanks. Just pacing ourselves much more. Thanks for your kind comments. Take care both x😊👍❤️
Sorry to hear of your osteoporosis issues Ellie. I am in much the same dilemma having worrying levels of osteoporosis in the spine and being reluctant to take the medications or have the recommended six monthly injections as I too can react badly to prescription drugs. My husband has severe osteoporosis and some years ago was given yearly infusions which had to be discontinued as he developed severe joint and muscle pain. He has started the six monthly injections and so far has had no adverse side effects. I will be interested to hear what you decide to do. Glad to hear that Graham is going well with his diabetes journey.🙏🏻💕
Hi Lyn. Thank you ❤️. Yes Graham is doing pretty well. It’s helping us both to eat more healthily. Just hope we can keep it up! Fully appreciate your dilemma with the injections and really sorry to hear that we are both in the same boat. ( though really so pleased to hear that your husband is doing well on the new medication so far 🤞👍) I’m gathering all the information I can at the moment before I decide either way (my first injection isn’t for a few months) I’ve bought loads of books and I’m also seeking advice on diet, supplements and exercise. It’s very hard to know what to do for the best isn’t it? Hoping I will come to a conclusion in time. Take care ❤️👍😊
My word you do have a lot going on. I hope you can find something Ellie that you can tolerate to address the osteoporosis 🙏🏽🤞🏼🙏🏽. Had a bit of a wake up call myself last week and as a retired nurse I should know better….life eh and the joys of ageing 🙄. But Graham you are doing brilliantly, so impressed. Wishing you both and the wee doggies all the best x
Hope you’re doing OK Ruth and that whatever it is isn’t too serious and can be sorted❤️🤞I think we know what we need to do (mostly). But it’s so hard doing it!!! Do take care of yourself ❤️😊👍
Hi Kevin. Thanks for commenting. Basically two things. Or three if you count I normally don’t eat breakfast now. Portion control is very important and I’ve got used to smaller portions now but the main thing is I try not to consume too much sugar. Sugar will drastically affect my diabetes so that is the main thing I avoid. Not all the time but mostly. It’s a slow process but I am getting there. Hope things are good with you. 🚐🙏🧙♂️🐶🐶🐶
Thanks for the update. Ellie you are so positive and upbeat. You inspire us all to keep our glasses half full rather than half empty. Stay safe and take it easy. ❤❤❤❤
Hi guys, sorry to hear your health news! Hopefully everything will resolve itself! Fully understand Ellie's apprehension about certain meds. I had a really bad reaction to the Shingles vacination but nothing from the Covid. Hope Graham's diabetic journey continues to be positive. I suffer from arthritis so managed things around it. Hi Richard. Thank you❤️. So pleased to hear that you are doing well on both steroids and Alendronic acid. Especially after all this time. Sounds like the medication is working really well for you👍. Take care ❤️👍😊

It worries me just how high a risk many drugs are these days. I am sure with plenty of research and some searches on TH-cam you can come to a wise decision. I wish you well.
Hi Warnz60. Thank you for your kind comments ❤️. I know that many people are perfectly OK with the medicine. I guess it depends on the individual doesn’t it? But once you have certain health complications it’s really important to think really carefully about your own position going forward . Definitely not straightforward! We wish you well! ❤️🙏. Do take care of yourself ❤️👍😊

Hi Chrissy. Aw thank you for your lovely comments❤️. You know where we’re coming from 🥰. Would love to meet up with you again. Hugs to you both ❤️👍😊
@Wizardinthewild 🥰🩷💙
Ellie have you heard of MBST? It might be something you wish to explore. I have similar medical issues. I am very much against medications because they often bring with them unpleasant side effects. Sadly MBST is not available on the NHS
Hi Alison. I haven’t ( though randomly I’ve just bought a book on magnet therapy🤣) it sounds fascinating. Do you know if they have run many trials on the effectiveness? I love the idea of therapies such as these. Far more gentle with far less side effects. I was lucky to get a few sessions of acupuncture on the NHS for pain management a year or so ago. Game changer. Just wish I could get more sessions. Take care 😊👍❤️
@ My physio introduced MBST into the UK quite a few years ago and many have benefitted including myself. It’s not permanent and needs topping up as necessary. Sadly it’s expensive (keeps me mobile so I bite the bullet) but there are a lot more centres now in the UK.
I had to take Alendronic Acid for 3 years for Osteopenia and Calcium D3 and it’s caused me gut problems in the form of Acid Reflux so I am now on Esomeprazole 40mg. I’m afraid you need to do impact exercises to keep your bones strong (or so I was told) so join a gym Ellie 👍

Hi Cheryl. Thanks for your comments ❤️. It’s a bit of a bugger when taking one medicine causes something else isn’t it? Some people are fine and it seems to hit others harder. Hope you’re doing OK🤞. Take care ❤️👍😊
Nice to see you again. You do seem to get good medical care .xxxx
Yes we are very lucky with the care that we’ve had. There is a lot of criticism of Our NHS but we have been incredibly lucky. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏👍 xxx
Hi guys, thanks for the update. Graham, well done mate, your looking good. Ellie, difficult decision for you, but I'm sure your make the right one.
I have a bone scan every few years because I've been taking steroids on and off for years for Asthma/COPD. Luckily, my bones are OK.
My specialist is trying to keep me off the steroids. I'm now using an injection every four weeks, Mepolizumab. Time will tell 🤞
Anyway, have you warned Phil Collins about his competition on the drums 🥁
Both take care 👍🐸
Hi Simon.
Thanks for your lovely comments ❤️
Graham’s doing OK 👌🏼 isn’t he? So far he’s found the weight loss not too bad. Just a bit slower than he’d like🤣.
Sounds like you know all about steroids! So pleased to hear you are being well looked after by your specialist and that your bones are OK. Hope the new meds really help you too🤞. It’s encouraging to see new medicines coming through all the time. Take care Simon xx😊❤️👍
🤍
Thanks Julie ❤️😊👍
Health decisions are so difficult. I now do serious research into any drugs. The one you mentioned I believe can give you mouth cancer. It was one of the reasons I refused chemo this time.
Jesus H Christ. xxxxxxx to you both
