LINER NOTES
The cue opens with a warm final statement of the Searching Theme as the characters’ search is complete. A driving motif in stopped Horns, Bassons, and Strings expresses Mark’s readiness to move on, but the story is not complete, and there is yet one more truth to be spoken. The music calms, making way for the concluding statement of the Truth Theme, again in Flute and Cor Anglais, as Nancy asks Mark to come with her. The B melody swells in full Strings and Woodwind as he accepts, finally concluding and fading into the End Credit cue as the two walk off to Nancy’s funeral.
