Is joystick any good in this game? Edit: I just tested and there are prolems. While it is way easier to control up, down and lean to side (turning while flying) movement the key setting are unable to find my Logitech 3D pro joysticks left and right pitch (turning on axis while hovering). So when I rotate my joystick clockwise or counter clock it thinks I want to go up or down.
How do you not get locked by the invisible roll wall at 180 degrees filp? Iv tried recreating ur barrel rolls like 10 times now and am no closer with each attempt. Please explain.

This remind me of the days we use to take the Huey in BF3 turn the thing on it's side and rain down hell on the enemy tanks and AA, they couldn't get the angle on us flying circles above them.

Hahaha nice, I adored flying on the older battlefield titles. My personal favourite was BF2, I used to take the AH-1Z attack helicopter solo, Mid Barrel Roll I'd swap to the gunner seat, fire a T.V Missile and swap back to fly away. Good times man, good times. 🤙
What's your favorite helo to fly? Also this is very inspiring, makes me want to fly helos in PR again (thats all I ever do on there)

Ahh the good old days of Battlefield 2! I'm pretty sure PR is still releasing updates to this day. Favourite Heli would probably be the UH-60 Blackhawk.

You've gotta set up the barrel roll by pitching up the nose, pitch down whilst executing the first half of the roll, stop pitching down after you're upside down and continue the roll 🤙

I'd love to, but there's only so much I can teach, The rest is practice. I spent hours in the training tutorial before I decided to fly on live servers. I would spend 30 minutes practicing each day before jumping on a server to play infantry, after 2 weeks I was confident enough to fly live. I crashed quite a bit in my first 50 hours of flying, the learning curve is learning the maps and finding good landing zones etc.
@ yeah already on that level. Landing area's are a good tip yeah. But your quick landing moves and keeping the helicopter so controlled is amazing. Just keep flying and the control will come with the time if i understand you correct

@@stan7329 I'd love to tell you that there's a secret to it, but honestly it's just 1000 hours of repetitively doing it 😅 If you haven't already, watch some tutorials on J-Hooking. That's probably the most important manoeuvre of all for pilots.

In settings you can select Hot-Keys to load and unload supplies 🤙I can't remember exactly where in the settings it is off the top of my head but you'll definitely find it. Makes logistics in the helicopter A LOT easier.

He's probably the best Squad Pilot in the world right now in terms of pushing the flight model to the boundaries. Pretty smooth flyin. New heli pilots frustrate me so much. They don't even bother to familiarize themselves with the flight model. Fuckers just jump in a live server, crash and say, I gotta learn.

Yeah 100%. I spent 10-20 hours in the tutorial before considering flying on live servers. I'd spend 45 minutes each day practising before I jumped on a server to play infantry 👍
@ Have you consider using a RC radio transmitter and add a USB cable to connect the radio controller to your pc. It is possible and I have try it.
