Love your videos. You have such a relaxing way of speaking that is refreshing in the current world of craziness. Thanks for taking the time and effort to present this info. Keep up the great work. BTW - your Ryker looks awesome.
I want to ride my Ryker with 3- Wheel Khalil! you are so chill and down to earth. You give great tips and your delivery is more my style! I just noticed I watched of you a few of your videos and I have liked or subscribed. My bad, I gonna go take care that right now! Thanks!
Very helpful; thank you. I bought a 2019 Ryker for $5,000 a couple of months ago. It had less than 9,000 miles on it, it's always been garaged, and it looks brand new. I'd like to keep it that way as long as possible. That's going to take some doing, because I put 600 miles on it in the first month. I installed the 3-piece luggage set from Slingmods, and the top edges of the clamshell saddlebag lids are already getting a white film in the SoCal summer sun. They need protecting. I don't really understand the 'problem' with the Comfort Seat not being slippery enough, though; I don't need my ride sliding around under me. Once I've planted my butt, I want it to stay put. I even bought a small backrest to help with that...
Just picked up my 2020 Ryker Rally on Saturday August 29, 2020. Already over the 200 mile break in. Definitely need a good detailing thanks for your advice and the how too. Just ordered the stuff from Amazon and should be getting busy cleaning the Rally this weekend. Retired Navy Girl in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Thanks for the video, these are great tips. Your videos helped me decide on a Ryker Rally and I just bought one up here in Washington state. Gonna be some wet rides in the future, so this was a timely vid. Keep up the great content!
Hey Khalil, if I may offer a suggestion take a look at this product which you can find at most powersports locations or on Amazon, it’s called SC1 made by Maxima. It’s an aerosol spray for motorcycles and ATV which I currently use and find to be very good, price $10 in the store and $14 on Amazon. Take a look when you can and thanks for the videos. P.S. I bought myself one one of those hammocks and man it’s right on time, thanks 😊 👊🏾
Of course you can suggest! I just looked at it and it looks pretty neat. Gonna have to pick up a can and try it out. ...and getting out and hammocking is always the right choice.
Thanks for the video. I just got a 2021 Ryker Rally and the manual says no wax, are they talking about rub on wax? Is the spray wax ok, have you ever had any problems with them?
2 years in and I've never had any issues with it, but like you're saying I've never used a true rub-on wax on it. Spray/Quick wax works well for my setup.
Great video how many time do you wash and detail your bike? Does it depends on how much you ride the bike? Do you do any night time riding if you do can you make a video at night. Thanks
Definitely depends, but I'd say usually about once a month. Unless I took it down to the beach or something, I usually try to clean that saltwater off quickly. And night riding? I do it, but I've never recorded video during. I'll have to try that out.
Ok, off topic, but you seem knowledgeable; Had my 600 since Apr 2019, & just went over 3,000 miles, should I take it in for servicing? Should I wait until 6,000 miles? I’ve seen recommendations on both. What is done on the 1st check? How much “should” it cost. TY
I would likely get serviced a little earlier, I personally wouldn't go too much longer than a year with the same oil. It's relatively cheap maintenance and in the long run could really preserve your Ryker.
Thank you for the great information. I was wondering if the comfort passenger seat works well as a back rest. I plan on taking my CanAm class next Spring (even though already have my endorsement) and buying a Ryker so starting my Wish list. Thanks again!
For cleaning the tires, I get them with the foam cannon and use a brush to agitate. For the tire shine, I'm a big fan of Turtle Wax WET'N BLACK, it's what I use on my truck and also the Ryker.
Any Links or suggestions on Micro fiber cloths? Seen so many horror stories in reviews, I'm hesitant to buy any that won't fall apart after a few launderings or leave lint all over the bike. Thanks in advance.
Most any Micro cloths will last if taken care of properly. First Never wash them with other things! If you do they will gather lint from the other fabrics. Cold or slightly warm water with detergent only no softeners. Either hang dry or absolutely No heat in the dryer. I always wash twice one cycle with detergent and another without anything. That way there is no residuals to create streaking. If you use Hot water or heat for drying it will actually melt the very fine fibers and they are junk at that point. I have a couple dozen that I have been using since 2016.

Thanks man! I work hard enough in my day job. In these videos, I just try to chill and be myself and it's just cool that a few people enjoy that.
@@3WK-ADV I feel you on that! Thanks for your contribution to the community! #3Wheelsforever!
Thank you for taking the time to make the video. Have some knowledge on how to clean her up. Thanks again for great video.

Glad I could help! Washington looks like the perfect place to be riding a Ryker Rally. I think you're really going to enjoy it out there.
I really enjoyed your video. I copied your links to my wish list. Keep up the good work.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
Beautiful bike, keep safe in all your journeys.
Thank you, I will do my best!
I took your advice and ordered the bungee buttons and also ordered the bungee cord.
Thanks so much for the detail info very helpful. What do you use to clean your rally wheels?
Love your vids man keep on doing what you're doing 👍🏻
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching!

Hey Khalil, thanks for posting. Do you use the quick detailer on top of the Mother's Back to Black?
Not immediately after applying it, but in between deeper cleanings I will use it on those same plastics.
Thanks for the video with very useful information.
Hello and thanks for tips. What do you use to clean the Rally wheels?
Griot Garage Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner. Same thing I use on my truck's aftermarket wheels.
I use The last coat 2.0
And i use amp in between washings

Great job. Where did you purchase the white handles?
The grips are ProTaper PillowTop Grips, they take a little finessing to fit.

Would you recommend using any type of ceramic coating? Pros and Cons.
Check out Adams advanced graphene spray coating for it. I'm getting ready to cover the Ryker with vrp from CG then ceramic coat it.
Thanks for the tips. Now I just need to work on my discipline, I'm a little lacks when it comes to cleaning.. Swaggy
RYKER TIME = 97% riding 3% cleaning

Great tips!
Hey 3dubK, question about the comfort passenger seat. Does it provide good back support for the driver?
Hey man! I'd have to say not really. A little too far down, but it's not something I was hoping for.
how did you fit the net with the bungee buttons that looks great
Lamonster Garage Bungee Buttons! Awesome cheap mod.
I know this video is a little old,but any other products recommended
Is there anything on it that is not supposed to get wet?
How do you wash your bike
I usually cover the seat and go for a quick foam cannon spray.
Thanks for the video. What would you recommend to use on the tires?

what tank protector do you have???? does not look like a basic sticker.
TUFSKINZ from sling mods! Worked well for me and the adhesive has held up well.
Do anybody use water to wash an outdoor bike? What about the shocks? The small places your hand can't reach.

what do you use to clean your rims
Adam's Polishes wheel cleaner with iron remover. Only do that every other month or so.
Send me the link to that little cargo net.

How much would you charge to detail my Ryker?
You can pay me in precious petrol
