Early game Grub
Early or neer end game Ladybug
End game rolly Polly
Of course you can skip grub and go straight to lady bug if you want I always make grub just for some added defense against lady bugs then after I kill them for enough parts I get the berry’s and make the lady bug which lasts basically the whole game then I get rolly Polly as soon as I can when going into the upper yard if it’s to hard to kill them you can cheese with a bow or cross bow to get enough parts I recommend trying to get rolly Polly when you can only because it’s pretty Tanky I recently came back to the game haven’t played since alpha so I’m not to good at blocking so I went with the beef armor just to help a little even though I died a ton but that’s my order

Just what i would quickly go for is, Clover armour early game, Mid game Ladybug armour, Fire ant armour / boss armour late game

The first build I've been able to beat her on Medium. Gives confidence for a Whoa run if they don't nerf.
I remember my first Infected Broodmother kill. I was shaking and my heart was pounding. I had become the most powerful being in my friend’s world. My setup was a max level Sour Battleaxe, Mask of the Mother Demon, and Roly Poly Chestplate and Leggings (the mask and Chestplate were maxed but the leggings were at level 7 and all of them were sleek). I used the Giddy Goop trinket and my mutations were Chopper, Meat Shield, Buff Lungs, Parry Master and Corporate Kickback (I had Mithridatism (how do I spell that word I have no idea) for the first phase but it was not necessary). I had beefy Fuzz on the Rocks, Soothing Syrup (sticky), Waspidote (beefy) and regular liquid rage. The fight took around 7 minutes.
Edit: I’ve been able to perfect block the screams without a shield, I just have to memorize the scream time and it works!

I use simular build to fight mantis and I am going to grind IBR before going into new game+ so it will be very helpfull.
I never realized Giddy Goop and Dust Cloud were so powerful. You can do pretty much whatever you want with the rest of your build. As long as you have Giddy Goop and 1 piece Termite, it's a breeze, even in Whoa.
This is very true, but im guessing if they nerf giddy goop it will be a % chance for it to proc, not after every 3rd hit combo

Fought her on mild kept dieing on 3rd phase. This work great even with the shield on most of the fight. Stayed mostly full hp
You can sacrifice shocking dismissal for rascal rogue. Its the same as not having it on i noticed i killed her just as fast but i also noticed i only get 1 extra chunck. Maybe fighting her more you can get lucky and get more but also depends how much you need her parts
You can also do 2 mutation loadouts, one with rascal rouge then switch to your main set after you steal the item!
Build is very good for phase 3 I also recommend mithro for poison resist
@@lastmexicano poison resist does nothing against the infected broodmother as she does venom damage not poison

Btw blade master help allot makes speed attacks ALLOT slower
Me and my mate i had full ladybug sleek lvl 9 he had ladybug legs and helmet and termite chestplate sleek lvl 9, we both had toenail sword lvl 9 fresh, i had the parry heal badge, for mutations we had meat shield, blademaster, spicy safety, corporate kickback, and coup de grass (all max level) and black ox burgers and sticky liquid rage and loads of beefy green machines and beefy sticky slop or whatever its called
Very strong build, i was thinking about adding in ladybug gear for the heals but i myself like dealing more damage than tanking. Still if it works it works!! (also black ox burger gives you like a 2% damage reduction)
For the best meals you would want to eat black ox burger first and then spider slider second, because for some reason black ox burger max health stacks even if u eat spider slider afterwards.. you can check for yourself ingame

Bulky fireant chest and legs. Eyepatch. Fresh rusty spear. Fireant shield. Entomologist badge. Or thors pendant but I suck at perfect blocking Javelineer/sour sensation/coup de grass/trapr peeper/meat shield.

W build. I went from getting destroyed over and over, to killing her 6 times in a row

hi cdiinky, thanks alot for these helpful guides - im following your build despite playing on a 3 people multiplayer in Whoa! mode and right now we're having a problem killing the IBM.
- 1st person is doing a range build (Bard tudor+bow for buffs & staff for other boss situations)
- 2nd is the heavy tank (club/lifesteal & ladybug/rolypoly guy)
- while I'm the person who copies your build on each boss, kinda like the flexible dps/tank. (except i dont have giddy goop due to being unlucky)
do you have any idea on what would be the "go-to-build" for each role especially against the IBM? I copied your build on every boss but only against the IBM that we are having a very hard time clearing it, we always die in phase 3 or sometimes in phase 2 if it gets messy. I appreciate if you can give a quick suggestion on what would be a rough build for the range, heavy tank, and me the flex melee dps/tank.
p.s i just remembered now, playing with other players will scale the dmg and hp for the creatures in the world or something like that. I could be wrong 😅
The termite chest piece could be slowing your friends down as the dust attack could be affecting them, i would recommend fast hitting weapons like swords or even axes, if you have the sour battle axe definitely use that for high stun for the tank guy, the bow person could use summons too like the mant, windowlings, spiderlings and wasps to help you!

@@CDiinky we finally killed the brood on a 3 man party after the 3rd try with your suggestion, it was much better and smoother than our first run.
I was also able to solo kill the IBM with your build, but it took me 10mins though. thanks alot for the guide!
you should make a guide on what flavor to make all your tools, Ive heard mighty is the worst path for the weapons
Sour is the best, minty is good cause lots of stuff is weak to mint in upper yard. And salt for wasps.

I'm personally not a big fan of slow builds because it throws off my parrying too much.
I can see how it's useful for first time kills though.
Me too, i dont enjoy the slow at all, but for people who struggle in this fight the build should help tons!
What's the best build for the black widow before getting the sour battle axe? Finding the Widow harder than anything except the IBM
Termite chest piece, sour toenail scimitar with blade master and giddy goop trinket, rest is fully customizable!

Can I use a plus fresh damage trinket instead?
You 100% can! You will just miss out on the slower attack speed
60% resistant to bleeds... the helmet is pointless. even if you use blademaster its still 35% resistant. as for using the broodmother armor.. immune to venom and 90% resistant to poison...
also what if u used the mint mace? u could slow her down EVEN MORE!!!
Possible would slow her more, but less of a chance for the giddy goop to proc and also no blade master for reduced damage

Btw you dont need to steal for giddy goop it can be a drop
And the scream can be easily parried without a shield I do it everytime
Using steal / dissection expert helps the process alot quicker. Perfect blocking the screams are fine for me too but her being so slow while using this build is sometimes inaccurate.

Why do my bosses never act the same as the ones on TH-cam? She is still very fast and very hard to kill in the 3rd round
We either make it very easy as we have no life outside of grounded or your just getting unlucky and always getting the super fast combos

@@PicklePraiser yep I saw him say it reduces damage output by 20% but blocks with it cause damage and since you get so many blocks in the fight it might be faster.
@@ZombieCartmanYT Fire ant shield is preference, i dont use the shield because of the reduced damage.
Ok who leaked this we been keeping this build quiet so it wont get nerfed haha
Doubt it would get a nerf, its been in the game for over a month now, the devs must know about it
