- Remember those amazing dichroic dragonflies we created a couple weeks ago? Well I finally found the perfect use for them! Join me in the studio as I show you how you can attach your art to copper tubing to create the best garden stakes that show off YOUR work! As if I couldn't LOVE these dragonflies anymore they just bring a fun POP of color to the garden.
I hope this inspires you to show off your art in new ways,
Happy Fusing!

Lisa makes everything look so easy. She does a great job!
Smashing the ends is a game breaker! Wonderful idea!
Love them - so pretty!!!!!
Great job. Gluing can be temperamental. Love the assistant director. Hope we see the director when the baby establishes the truth of its control. 😂I love these dragonflies! 🎉
Good idea on the smashed tubing. Now I can even wire it on too Thanks Lisa ❤
I have a shady area with hostas in it - these would be great there!
Great idea. There is a copper tube cutter that is sold in the hardware stores. So easy to cut with.
they make a pipe bender also. My husband has every tool know to man. LOL
Have you ever tried pattern weights? Basically, little bean bags of poly pellets one steel bbs. I’ve had good luck as they are heavy and somewhat conformable. 😊
❤
THEY SHOULD SHE A GREAT HELPER. I LOVE THAT YOU 2 HAVE SUCH A WONDERFUL RELATIONSHIP.🥰🥰🥰🥰
It’s helpful sometimes to not coil the tubing until after the silicone glue is dried
Except for what she said about trying to bend close to the dragonflies. Stress on the glass, right?
They make a tubing cutter.
What glue did you use Lisa?
