Thank you for your videos - I've seen them all and they are equally informative and delightful! Do you have a template for the flowers in your series? and the cacti? I've seen the one for the birds and the poppy dish.
Thanks for watching my videos. The flowers (except the sunflower) and the cacti do not have a template. If you watch you will see that I explain how I get the shapes as I am cutting. The sunflower does have a template.
I make a small loop at the end of the wire to increase surface area and use E6000 to glue it to the back of the flower. I cover it in part 4 of that particular video series: What to Create with Fused Glass Flowers: th-cam.com/video/GbCJUnURKLA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jBt6tVhXsYAObYwb
Part 4 of this video series has many things that you can do with the flowers, including the copper stems. What to Create with Fused Glass Flowers: th-cam.com/video/GbCJUnURKLA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HUpyoIYr4zMbzmE_
I love your trick with the solder and the beading it up! I never would have thought of that. I think I'll be lazy, and just use small yellow dots for stamen that didn't rise out of the flower. I can't wait to make the hyacinths and these.
I bought mine at the Glass Expo in Las Vegas but I have also bought them from AAE Glass. Perhaps ask at the hardware store if they have an adapter for the chick (the part that holds the drill bits).
Hi PJ! It’s so nice to meet you! Excellent video. Thank you so much. I cannot wait to see your next inspirational creations! I’m getting ready to move into a new studio. ..so excited. Any tips on layout? I’d love to see your setup. Thank you!,!❤ -Sherri.
It is a WEN brand. It wasn't expensive and I either got it on Amazon or at Harbor Freight- it's been so long ago that I can't remember. It's one of the tools used most often in my glass studio.
Super cute and very clever! Well done😊
