    Thanks for the detailed review. Very informative!
    I am curious if is there a solution for the reflective dashboard?

    Why can't we go for more isolation to avoid the drifting noise from this car ?

    • @AutoReviewCom
      @AutoReviewCom  ปีที่แล้ว

      Cause it probably would cost more to produce and therefore the price would be higher…

    Ive managed 3.6 lt/100km in the city by night

    • @AutoReviewCom
      @AutoReviewCom  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great results, though the night time made this possible. In traffic I reckon it would have been 5.xl/100km.

    3 cylinder?

    • @AutoReviewCom
      @AutoReviewCom  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct!

    • @tomaszl1837

      Incorrect. It's 4 cylinder engine.

    111 Nm of torque from a 1.5 l engine?!? That's really disappointing. Why are all Toyota engines that weak? Fortunately, the upcoming Supra will have BMW engines - because I am really interested in buying that car if it looks similarly good as the show car.
    Anyway, nice review again!

      +Björn Walter it’s actually not the type of car for high hp or torque figures. The concept of this Yaris Hybrid is really more on economical driving and not on high end power output. I’m curious on how the new Supra will be, as Toyota needs to get it right because of the heritage of the Supra name! Thanks a lot.

    • @petrolheatt4402
      @petrolheatt4402 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course it's not a high end power output engine. But 100 Nm of torque per liter of engine displacement is the least one can expect...that's "standard" for naturally aspirated engines I assume.
      Anyway - the Supra is an option for me ;-)

    • @AutoReviewCom

      +Björn Walter most small capacity engines have higher torque because they are turbo charged. And the torque figure is given by Toyota only for the petrol engine. Together with the electric engine the torque should be higher, but there is not information on that!

      The engine and the traction motor can operate together; the traction motor is rated at 45 kW & 169 Nm (max torque at 0 speed as with all traction motors). Most of the time, the car starts from rest using the motor alone, with the engine kicking in when more rapid acceleration etc. is required. It tends to start from rest faster than manual gearbox cars. I've been using one for just over 6 months, and it's fine, especially for short/urban journeys, in which it's regenerative braking is useful.

      @@AutoReviewCom Nice to see you active here! I'm honestly got the perception that this car Gasoline consumption is high ( that is what you said in the video ), not sure if you are comparing other cars or in the absolute comparison ! I'm looking for a good energy consumption car (not very small car) - otherwise do you have some recommendation for the same budget car as this one? thanks a lot!

    • @AutoReviewCom
      @AutoReviewCom  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TrabelsiMarwen Well it depends on which price you are referring to, the CHF 14,990 or the CHF 26,690?!?
      I would recommend the Hyundai Ionic, which I reviewed as well. You get a lot of extras as standard, its a Hybrid too and has great gas mileage plus it's a bigger car with more space for rear passengers and boot.
      Take a look. Depending on the offer you can get around the 27-29k price point.

      I personally prefer a DSG instead of a CVT...

    • @danielesalvigni
      @danielesalvigni 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AutoReviewCom I come from DSG and a part some "weird" change during low temp, it is much better if you want sporty experince...but very far from being reliable. Again the eCVT probably will last longer than the entire life of car or battery.

    I also miss the auto headlights from the Yaris. It's strange, all the other Toyotas have it: Aygo, CH-R, Rav4, Auris, Hilux... Why not the Yaris?

    • @AutoReviewCom
      @AutoReviewCom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Only Toyota will be able to answer that question.

      Jedes Auto hat gute and verbesserungsfähig Aspekte. Wirklich schlechte Autos gibt es heutzutage nicht mehr wirklich, jedenfalls nicht in Europa. Es kommt immer auf die persönlichen Vorlieben, das eigene Budget und den Einsatzzweck an.
