Waiting for mom to give me permission to redo her swan from the late 80s when shabby chic and farm house was in back then. Loved watching this. I'll show mom. Lol
I had to laugh at your baby poop swan! It brought me back to when I was young. We called baby poop…CaCa!! 🤣😂 Great job on all the pieces but my fave was the flying pig. It’s amazing how when we are not sure during the learning process and it turns out awesome!!
I loved the first swan! I liked the size and definitely loved the paint job. And that pig!? I loves the way the pig turned out! I didn't think I would like it, but I loved it!
I can't pass up animals in a thrift store, either. I recently made over 2 bunnies and put them out in the garden and I think the REAL bunnies living under our patio took that as permission to munch the plants! I can't even be mad, they're too cute and so much fun to watch.
Great job, as ALWAYS!! Love seeing your revamps and your animals choices. Love the adorable flying pig. Can't wait to see what you create next time. Take care and God bless. 😊
A pickle green flying pig!! I love it! Too cute! The swans were all great, but wow that first one was spectacular with allllll that crackle! Awesome projects, Yvonne.....as always!
I have been searching for a swan forever and finally found a wood one with the same glass eyes. Still trying to work up the nerve to paint it white! Love the pig too
RE: the eyes, use a really small brush and a very little bit of paint, then pull the strokes out from the eye into the body. It's a bit intimidating but not actually that difficult. I'm probably the world's most clumsy painter but I've had pretty good luck using that technique.
Everything came out beautifully!!❤ The pig is adorable and I love the chippiness it has. It could have been more chippy and it would have looked amazing!💚🐷😍 Maybe I’m just weird lol 😂 I love chippy old and crusty!!😂😁
I think the Pig looks great ! If you had used the bonding agent, maybe it would not have crackled and that is the YUMMY part …LOL!!! Oh the Swans! I know I wouldn’t be giving mine away until after death 🥰 I thinks I’ve had mine for 25 years ! I wish back then I had gotten the mate…but it was a lot of money even then! It’s good size too! Good job on them all ! 💛💛🌻💛💛
For eyeballs and/ or polka dots, use the blunt end of the paint brush (non bristle end) to dip into the paint and dot the paint right on the spot where you want the dot🎨
Yvonne, just watched Day in the Life on GCR The Journey, I was excited to see your pie safe, I have my Grandmother's pie safe, it's just like yours, enjoy yours!
Use the bottom of your paint brush you were using to try for the eyes….dip the end into paint and use it for a perfect dot for the eye…. The bigger craft paint brush has a bigger dot area….smaller brush has smaller dot area….
Painting the pig green. At first I thought what???? But it was cool!!! Thats my favorite. Can you please tell me where you got the milk paint from? Thank you
Sweet Pickins Extra Bond is the additive they make, I’m assuming you’ve come across that by now but just in case. I haven’t used it but the ppl that I’ve watched use it tend to use less than the recommended amount
Never pass up animals!! So glad you bring them home so we can watch their transformation!! Adorable and fun! 🦢🦢🐖
Yeah the second swans were definitely baby poop 🤣🤣 The first swan turned out absolutely beautiful 💕 Perfectly imperfect works for me 😀❤️🇦🇺
Waiting for mom to give me permission to redo her swan from the late 80s when shabby chic and farm house was in back then. Loved watching this. I'll show mom. Lol
They’re all great but that first swan and the pig are awesome makeovers. Just love how they turned out. ❤️❤️❤️
All were cute but I fell in love with the pickled pig.
This swan is absolutely beautiful
If pigs can fly, they certainly can be green. 😀 love all of the flips.
Milk paint makes a binging additive
As always I ❤ them.
That milk paint is awesome! The crackle!
Love the way that pig looks authentically old.
Sooooo cute. I love that pig!!! Oh yes you inspire me!!!

I loved the first swan! I liked the size and definitely loved the paint job. And that pig!? I loves the way the pig turned out! I didn't think I would like it, but I loved it!
All looked so much better with your special touches.
I can't pass up animals in a thrift store, either. I recently made over 2 bunnies and put them out in the garden and I think the REAL bunnies living under our patio took that as permission to munch the plants! I can't even be mad, they're too cute and so much fun to watch.
I get that.. cuteness wins
Love them all but I collect flying pigs and green is my favorite color, so the pigs gets my vote! ❤
Hon just a suggestion from a painter. Dip the end of round brush in paint and dot off on paper then dot your eye in, it’s perfect every time.
Thank you for that tip 👍
❤❤❤❤ them all😊
Great job, as ALWAYS!! Love seeing your revamps and your animals choices. Love the adorable flying pig. Can't wait to see what you create next time. Take care and God bless. 😊
Thank you! You too!
The swans came out beautiful. I love the pig too.

I think I need a flying pig in my life. Too cute!
I love to watch your rusty creations. It’s so realistic.
LOL! I think I own the other green pig.... and I love it. The swans came out very nice! Classic decor in my opinion.
I think these are so beautiful. The big swan is my favorite. The pig has the sweetest expression on its face.😊❤
The big swan milk paint looks so authentic love it!
Everything is amazing ❤❤
I’ve heard that a little warm water helps milk paint
I just love that pig. I need him.
I love all pigs - especially flying pigs, as "when pigs fly" is a favorite saying of mine!
Love the single swan most.
I love them both Yvonne!

I think the Pig looks great ! If you had used the bonding agent, maybe it would not have crackled and that is the YUMMY part …LOL!!!

Swans are beautiful
Yvonne, just watched Day in the Life on GCR The Journey, I was excited to see your pie safe, I have my Grandmother's pie safe, it's just like yours, enjoy yours!
Thank you 🥰
A little Raffia around that crack in the swan's neck and some of your bury things would look good
Berry things
Have you ever used Vaseline? You could coat the eyes, paint and them wipe off the Vaseline on the eyes. They all are beautiful. Love the pig!
Yes I have..should have remembered to do that
DIY's salvation solution in clear is perfect for the slick surfaces. Either milk paint and chalk paint will bond to it and makes it easier for you
Will it still crackle? I have some haven't tried it because of that.
Use the bottom of your paint brush you were using to try for the eyes….dip the end into paint and use it for a perfect dot for the eye….
The bigger craft paint brush has a bigger dot area….smaller brush has smaller dot area….
Thank you for the tip.. I’ve not painted too many eyes 🤗
