My mom had a rolling pin like that even down to the green handels. There's nothing like those old wood rooling pins. I finally found one for my kitchen. I love it !!

OMG, I googled the Dr. Seuss book to see the cover and to my surprise the book is selling in the thousands. One store had it for $1,400 and another for $2,000. The cheapest I could find was $50.00. What a find you have. I would not put it on my shelf. I might think of selling it. Have a look. I think you will be surprised too!

The bird puzzle is very cute and the frog lamp. The checkerboard would make a great side table, and since I'm in MI I'm partial to the cutting board :)

The bombay clock came out lovely. Their are many items to be found with that cherry finish that need updating. the flat black was perfect. I enjoy watching you turn a thrift find and bring it new life ⚘ edited for spell check 😉
Love you were teary eyed when talking about the lady offering you the tobacco basket she had in her cart but decided she didn’t want! So sweet. However, you are ABSOLUTELY killing me with all the amazing items you find at your thrift stores!!!!

I don’t even remember what you thrifted after watching you do your MAGIC !!!! LOL!!!!! I do remember the Frog Light. My Mother-In-law collected Frogs and we got her a statue of a Frog that is from probably the same Company that made that light and the Frog was doing Yoga! She would have loved that light 🥰
Love the cats at the end ! So typical of what cats do with boxes, baskets, towels on the floor…IT IS THEIRS ! 😹😹 Too funny, but how we love our furbabies !!!

I had 3 metal star gears that i put hooks in the center and made coat hooks out of them. When i sold my home i left them and wish i hadnt. They were all rusted and i loved them
Oh that frog lamp ! I laughed out loud he is so comical! 😆 love the sun 🌞 I use the Cascade from Waverly Chalk Paint I think it’s one shade greener but that’s my go to color ✝️💟

Just to let you know....yes, of course many of us follow your lead and make things that you demonstrate. I sent off for some basket reed and made 8 tobacco baskets! They look great, some stained, some painted..etc. Thank you so much. I appreciate and enjoy all of your videos!

@@GingerChickRehab I found a page with hundreds of tobacco baskets. The bigger, watered down dark stain seems to be the most popular...even on eBay. After making my 8, I made 4 more in no time. Once stained and dried, you can use a tiny amt of hot glue and remove the staples. Amazing how the basket is formed once dried.

I took apart an old corner shelf and made carrots. Just painted orange and hot glued boxwood to the hole at the end. Easy fun craft! I love all your stuff! 😃

What you did with the ceramic sun plaques is stellar, and I like how that plastic piece of printing dyes came out!. You are so adorable about that Dr Seuss Lady Godiva cover -- of course now I want to look it up and see what I missed.

Best item blue sun. Love that blue. The rust rather makes it look like a sunburn which will be way too appropriate when it finally warms up. Love your channel

I'd have fought you for the double boiler, wooden vases, large pouring vessel, the three stars, both pottery bowls, frog lamp and I'm 70 years old and haven't ever fought anyone yet! But.... Okay, here it is on a Sunday and you’ve made me already break two of the Ten Comandments. First you pull out that watering can and I feel envy and jealousy that I never find anything that cool. Then you pull out those two white with red trim enamel pots that I’ve literally been actively looking for the last two weeks because I’ve been remodeling my kitchen and I’m thinking, “I’d kill to have those!” 😳 And let’s not even talk about those spindles. Try cream of tartare on that hard water blue pot. Put it in boiling water with cream of tart. That’s what we use to do for the pot we heated baby bottles in. We have hard water too.
The plastic tray with the letters would be great made with patina to look rusted!
I would LOVE to go yardsale/estate shopping with you. The things we could learn together. Hardwater, I'm on a well and find that if I put about a tablespoon on CLR in the dishwasher aboutonce a week or two, it kills the deposits and squeaks. Maybe try a few drops on your pots.
I have got to get myself that rust stuff. I think this hall I enjoyed very much. I have a quick question: What is it that draws you to the old bibles? I have 3 that I cherish.

I use white vinegar to remove the hard water stains. I have Michigan hard water too. Lol. It works every time.
I thrifted that same wooden mirror with the cubby box! My husband loved it and is using it in his office!

I think I enjoy only your haul videos because you pick up what I would snatch up as well. Although, it would take me many hauls to get the great finds you have in this one. I would love to have red and white enamel ware in my kitchen. It would look amazing. I have never come across it. As a matter of fact I have only come across the blue and white w/o the lid. I use mine as planters. Great haul Yvonne! Fantastic make overs as usual. Thanks for sharing.
