I love the am4 platform, I have a b550 system that I rigged together with upgrades over the years with a 5800x3d and rtx3060. My older parts, a 3600 cpu along with an old gtx1060 laying around are on my old bb450 board that I now use for a dedicated FL studio/ music PC. I've had fun with the affordability and still well performing platform.
I love seeing more builders not treating the PSU Tier List like the Bible. It's nice to have REALITY hit us and realize that MANY PCs have ran literal decades on "tier f" or below PSUs. I appreciate you using the Thermaltake white!

Honestly love these videos I keep telling some of my friends starting to look into building a pc for the first time it doesn’t need to be 1k+ we can build something cheaper till you have more available or something we can upgrade down the line. These videos legit have helped me make my point.

As someone wanting to learn how to build a PC, would you recommend getting these parts to learn? I'm not even gonna use the pc prob since my laptop is good enough, I would just sell it to get more parts to practice with. What do you think? Would you recommend other parts to practice pc building with, preferably in a separate video? Would be interested to learn

Yooo, i just finished my build recently like a week or two ago, I actually just spent under 9,000 PHP (around 154$) buying everything 2nd hand. The build almost looks like this build only other thing is my RX 580 is 2304sp, gigabyte a320m motherboard, 256gb nvme, 500gb hdd, a gigabyte p650g psu and a pretty cheap case from a local brand. (my country's pricing is very expensive so this was all i could afford)
I just am happy that my decisions have been pretty good based on my budget since i just learned how to do these things very recently as well.

Crazy that the 580 can run anything current at all. Though I guess most of those games are actually 5+ years old now.
I am sure that nostalgic memory is way off but to me, the games look like they have the graphical quality of 2007 running on hardware that was high spec in 2017 😅

Hey brother I have a macbook pro 2017 I have my dad's GTX 1650 and an extra 550 power supply lying around so I was wondering can I use it as an external gpu in windows bootcamp also I am gonna buy a rtx 3060 and use it in my dad's pc for gaming and I am gonna move out after 4-5 months so I'll use the 5070 as an egpu as well the problem I am facing is there are no gpu enclosure available in India and if they are ,they cost 1400 dollars minimum so can you tell me a workaround or individual components so I can make the enclosure myself I know the idea isn't great but this would work for my dad and me both , can someone give me a advice will it work?
Perfect PC to someone going, plenty of upgradability for not much either. I'd prefer to have 4 RAM slots though, just for the ease of cheaply adding more. This little machine will play like 98% of all games ever made just fine, it's only a few AAAs over the last few years that it'll struggle with.

Y'know the RX580 is sorting proving itself to be a GOAT amongst GPUs. 1080s have started to creep back up in price, as have all 20 series Nvidia cards. Even the Radeon RX5500 8GB (uh, isn't that a 580 basically, LOL?) has been getting itself back above $100. The 2048 RX580 may be cut down from the OG, but...
Marketplace is hit or miss for used parts - and urban living compatriots might have an advantage. I live in Vermont, and damned if everyone selling stuff around here think they have some relevant (I have scored on older PCs or cases though). I like to do eBay searches that are broad topics and narrow by distance...
Also, you kinda did use parts that were used here... from both Amazon and Ali Express (the latter is a bridge many of us are a little scared to cross, or wait for... or apparently now, pay for).
That said, first video I remember watching from you and nice job!

No ebay is not that easy. Your lucky if you find a gpu used thats even under msrp. Most people that paid scalper prices during the crypto shortage, think its still worth that and base their price off that. I'm sorry you got screwed but your 3070 isn't worth $1100 lol.
Now i will say I found a used 6700xt for $225 and a rx6650 for $129. I got super lucky on those.
try to get the 580 2304sp 8gb if possible
bequiet and arctic have rgb and fan boards. Never power your fans off the main board straight away with chinese boards. I had so much trouble. Its worth the 10 bucks.

Dont buy those Ali express RX580. they run at 800mhz instead of 1200 (48fps on furmark instead of 75/80). i bought like 10 of them, only 2 survived more than 1year (3 in died in less than 3weeks) . they are cheaper on used market, work and hold better.
I’m gonna be honest before the tarrifs your build we’re never accurate with the prices even when picking through Ali express for parts but I do still enjoy your content it’s just not accurate compared to other channels that are spot on with a build price
