Fun fact: if you were ever a wwe fan, this song was on wwe smackdowm vs raw 2010. And another fun fact, svr 2010 was the last wwe game to have actual music
Funny thing... I saw Skillet live in an outdoor venue 11 years ago and it was POURING. Their pyrotechnics were INCREDIBLE. No joke the craziest concert I've ever been to and I've seen Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold.
This song hits so hard in concert. Like, you don’t even know! Everyone is so hype and the fire on stage. My god it’s just amazing! The drummer is the girl that’s singing and she is up there on stage and the drums are spinning and she is still singing and drumming and spinning. I just can’t even
I know I Would love a RED - "Breath into me" or a "Death of me" Reaction. Great band with a lot of content to cover and a new album coming out soon as well! :)
These guys put on an AMAZING live performance. Tons of pyrotechnics and awesome energy overall. If you get a chance, I highly recommend seeing them perform live.
Feel Invincible is a great tune. I think there's even a Detective Conan AMV or two that is rather fitting there. Apparently some Detective Conan viewers also enjoy some Skillet...
I just have seen them in concert at the Creation festival in Shirley, PA June 29th. Hero was the first video I stumbled on to when I was recovering from surgery. It changed me!!! Their songs had a major impact on me that got me through some tough times. The rest is history.
Skillet is amazing live! They was my first concert I ever went. This music is always amazing. Their music only gets better plus the drummer and lead singer has solo albums out. I don't know what else I can say except this music is my go to if I ever need it. #skilletfan4life.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but Feel Invincible is kinda crap compared to both songs that have been reacted to so far, and compared to a lot of their other stuff. This coming from a life long Skillet fan.
The beauty of Skillet's music is how you can easily interpret it however you want, not just based on religion. Look closely in the video: they constantly show firefighters, police, military, and first responders. The people who are widely regarded as "heroes" to their community. These are the people who take an oath that they will place their lives on the line in order to save others, and protect the people who cannot protect themselves. This song was a massive tribute to those everyday "heroes" in our society.
The beauty of Skillets music is that they rarely ever reference their Christianity in the music. Most of their songs are written in such a way that you can interpret it into your own way, which makes their music so relatable and lets them transcend past the "Christian rock" label
One of my favorite things about this band is that they allow their listeners to interpret their lyrics in your own way cause of how it's written. Good shit
I was at a Skillet concert in Norway in 2011, it was an amazing vibe there and a lot of energy. You should check out «Whispers in the dark» by them (my favourite song by Skillet)
Skillet is my favorite band. Two tattoos and went to three concerts and even touched the lead singers hand(John) and email the band everyday and they are so nice to reply every time. They even sent an autographed postcard with a message on the back from them. If y'all want to hear the story behind that I'll be happy to share it!
Hero in a way is a transition and tribute to their song rebirthing. You might enjoy that song as well. It’s an older song but still a favorite when they bring it up at their shows.
YOOOOO you should react to Three Days Grace - Never Too Late/ Animal I Have Become/ I Hate Everything About You! Or Hollywood Undead - Bullet. You'll love this one.
What I feel like I get from this song is when life starts getting rough you need to make the decision to either give up or grow from it letting your true character come out and shine and that's what it means to be a hero. Succeed or fail a true hero always does whatever it takes to give it their all.
Whoa whoa whoa, back up. Starting will Skillet?! Good choice mug dude Do ‘Sick of It’ by skillet, or ‘Feed the Machine’ by RED Or go even smaller, give my west coast people some love; Flight of King’s by The Classic Crime
As I said with the monster video, I've seen Skillet 25 times live. I'm so glad you like them! I've also met them like 6 times and have also worked some festivals for them and seen them behind the scenes. They are the real deal!!
Actually, when he said "I got a hero livin in me" he ment Jesus. Skillet is a Christian band and you got it right, when you said, he is just a human with limitations who cant help himself. It's like you can hear their music superficially and it's awesome, but you can dig so much deeper into the lyrics and find some real shit!
Lmao you don't have to correct him. The beauty of music is also in making your own interpretations and not only using it's actual meaning. That way you can also have different perspectives on songs
The way I interpret "I got a hero living in me" is that we are all capable of being heroes, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. That's the beauty of music and lyrics.

Honestly skillet was one of those bands that helped me so much during my early teens because I was in a dark time. My doctor kept switching between medications for ADHD without knowing I was actually Autistic (because apparently a juvenile psychologist sitting in a room with a kindergartener for 30 minutes is enough for a firm diagnosis) and without sobering me up between switches made me sick and depressed and my parents were splitting up and life was just hell for me, but Skillet helped me through that. They helped me realize that sometimes, things go badly in life and you’re not the one that caused it. You need to hold on to see a better picture.
Yes I definitely agree but I also like Disturbed and Three Days Grace and Metallica I love a lot of bands when I listen to Metallica at school some people think that I'm emo but I'm not

Skillet is THE BEST BAND! All the songs they make are great!
This song is actually about Jesus. Near the middle they say “I’ve got a hero living in me”
