I had another productive hunt on the river using my Tesoro Cutlass, I really can't praise this machine enough. I don't care what anyone says, Tesoro where a great company, maybe all those TH-cam twats that slandered them actually contributed to the companies downfall.
Beware of false idols blowing their own trumpet, these types are usually talking out their arses.

Paul, I really enjoy your videos and website featuring the outdated Tesoro detectors! I have several, a Compadre, Mojave, Outlaw and black Tejon. And a Shadow X2. I purchased a few inexpensive blue tooth wireless units on Amazon that plug directly into the detector audio outlet. Then I can use my ear buds or wireless headphones. I attach the small wireless unit underneath the detector using a small piece of Velcro. I can use the detector with it or without but at my age hear better with the ear buds. Thanks again for all your no nonsense old school videos and information!

You have a nice collection of machines 👍🏻 I use the wireless units on my Nexus machines and it makes it easier not worrying about a cable going into the machine
My Tesoro DeLeon is alive & doing great.
I guess I am an outdated and old analog kinda' guy. I look for you metal detecting videos because there Ain't Nobody putting them out there about single frequency analog machines like the Tesoro's. I love my 2 Tesoro's and I probably will get some more while viewing your videos mate.

Tesoro was a great company. Sad they didn’t last. I still use my Outlaw 8 inch concentric coil.

over the last few years I've copped a bit of flak about using Tesoros
But who cares I'm still using my Silver U Max and Mojave and the PI one Sand Shark
Mojave was the last one made( only 150 )and combines all the attributes of previous Tesoros plus a few new interesting ones
Of course if you would like to sell your Tesoros.......well it ain't going to happen ...but I would buy them 😅
Take no notice of the idiots, they know nothing, nobody has the right to tell anyone what they should and shouldn't been using
I've got the inside info on the sort of Tesor resurrection or repairs and mods here state side.
What is dopamine? Is that when I'm bass fishing a catch a 5 pound bass for weigh in to add to my total weight to win a little or alot of money. Might be the same as not finding crap all day then finding a gold ring for last target. I read the blog

I have a banging Tesoro Gold Sabre. I would like to sell if anyone interested. Found a lot with it.
Just in case you never knew, woth that garrett carrot you can get closer to the target and hit the buttong to retune. Then it will quiet down and get right on top of it.
Then after target found hold away from metal and press button again to detune

Another excellent video with cool finds! Well done. Ohhhhh i’m sure the usual suspect Detexperts have their eye on the Nexus machines as the buzz has increased regarding them. They’ll be begging for money on their live streams “help me buy one! help me buy one to test…” And, I believe you are correct sir, they will play with it for a couple hours, if they get a hold of one, not understand it, and because they don’t comprehend how the machine operates they will rip it to pieces because their egos are bigger than their brains. SMH.
Brilliant videos! Love the commentary on the techy detector "experts"! I've got the latest machines too, but still use an old large box Bandido and an original Stingray in the water. Those old Tesoros work great. You get so much information from the audio! Really enjoy watching from across the pond in Canada! Cheers!

Lol... I use to have a motorcycle that was pretty dang fast in the day and my license plate was Go 4 It
I have a number of Tesoro detectors. I always wanted to try one. So a few years back i picked one up. Simple and effective. My two go to detectors are the Outlaw and my Whites v3i. However I'd like to add a Nexus or DeepTech.
All really good machines I have an Outlaw as well
Vaquero and tejon are great with small concentric and sef coils!

Hi Paul I am in the UK also and just bought a Tesoro golden sabre plus in nice condition for it's age. I am new to metal detecting so thought I would give it a go as a new hobby.
