We say here in the US, box truck, cargo truck, tractor trailer, 18, wheeler, big rig, diesel, tandem trailer, so many words for basically the same thing.
Once again Bruce, you bring a bright spot to my day. YES, I know how bad that smelled, because one day at work, I walked into the men's room and that stench hit my nostril. All 5 or 6 urinals had been taken off the wall so the drains could be snaked. I put in a urinal in my summer cabin a few years ago, one made in 1940 that I cleaned and restored using hydrochloric acid. Of course it is "very lightly used", and I keep it clean with acid based toilet bowl cleaner, so there is no odor, and those crystals have no chance to form.
Without your wonderful commentary it would be just another urinal unblocking. Bruce bringing light to an overly dark world but without the dang smell of it! Have yourself a bloody great day mate!
In Poland (EU) only vehicles that transport cargo are called trucks. You need a commercial driver license (C-category) to drive those. Pickup "trucks" as guys from the US call them, here are called just pickups, because you (mostly) don't need any special driving license to use them. Small delivery "trucks" are called delivery cars, because of the same thing: if you don't need a special license to drive it - it's always a CAR. A pickup "truck" is also a car (formally), however we mostly say just pickup.

Up in Yorkshire, England, we call trucks trucks as well...or wagons. I think lorry might be used a bit more down south. There are always exceptions, of course. We have Luden’s throat drops here in Kentucky. They’re not medicated, and have a strong cherry flavor. They kept my perception of odors in check. It kept the wastewater treatment plant’s scum facility (city-sized grease trap!) tolerable. And it was the worst smelling building I had to work in.

They actually have a product to open those up. It’s called a urinal auger. They’re only like 40 bucks here in the United States. Don’t know what that translates to in Australia, but they work slicker than snot.
I buy the toilet cleaner that comes with some type of strong acid in it, melts the stains right off, and more importantly kills anything causing a bad stench. Definitely not surprising it would work on this mess, probably starts smelling a bit less foul when you pour that in too.

But the Brits usually say lorry for big delivery trucks, or what we call a box truck in the US. Actually, I'd love an episode of "Aussie English" as told by Bruce. I bet that would be fun. One of the worst smells I've had was when I used to do some maintenance work at a waste disposal place, I was changing out a light directly above a large skip bin chock full of medical urine test sample cups that was marinating away quite nicely on a 38C Perth summers day. I'd say I have a fairly strong stomach and never had any issues working around the sewage side of that place, but I very nearly lost my lunch that day
