Just found your channel this is really cool! I grew up with the extreme sports as well here in CO (dirt biking, snowboarding and offroading) and have grown up with a love for animals as well. I was going to go to school for fish and game biology but switched to criminal justice. I still want to finish a degree in wildlife of some sort and show people how cool nature really is and to put down the controller and go outside. This channel shows me it can be done so thanks for what you do!
LOL at 5:44 he said it's lame of people to collect box turtles from the wild when they are doing just that. What they don't know is that we collect them from the wild for mostly the same reason. 1. To help their population, 2. To learn and 3. So they can thrive in the wild again some day.

Yes, it's extremely important to make them an area outside of the water. Turtles are Reptiles, so they need a place to bask to keep there Shell nice and healthy. Buy a Turtle Dock or a piece of driftwood for the turtle:)
I have a tank with my turtle in it . She needs some sort of wooden log to scratch her shell . But the thing is log used to get mildew. How do I make sure that the log I put in wont get all dirty and dangerous for my animal again. Because I see people using logs just fine without any problems.

why would zoomed out their torts in glass aquariums? That's a rookie move! Youd never want torts to see the outside of the cage. They can get very stressed and the air flow is minimal

As much as Zoo Med is a well known brand; could they please pick up the game for other animal species! Half of their products directed at other animal species aren't safe. Would like them a lot more if their lines were safe for each particular animal.

It is recommended for all types of animal husbandry. Different species have different quarantine times since they have different environments and parasites associated with them.

Use Treated Driftwood or Sanded GrapeWood. They might be kinda pricy, but they'll last alot longer than regular wood.
