Pete Turner's album cover photos were awesome!
i guess zach sanders is a genuinely modest person. apparently, he didn't want to hog the spotlight and take any attention away from grover washington jr. which is refreshing, in a way. i guess that for mr sanders, being given a chance to perform is enough. (and he did perform quite well.) there doesn't appear to be anything "show business" about zack sanders. he doesn't crave the attention of the audience and is uninterested in basking in their applause and adulation.

He was leaving Trinidad after carnival in 1980 or 1981 after the annual carnival. Trinidad and Tobago was going through a recession at the time, things were tough. The group playing behind the late Mr. Washington played as a unit for several artists...... Tom Scott, among them... They were collectively as Stuff. Most, sadly, are all gone.....
