It defines Atsumu's pure passion for the sport and the position he plays. Giving 100% of his effort to give his spikers the best spike for them, no matter what. Such dedication to his team makes him a great setter, pushing his teammates to reach their best as well.
To me, it summarizes his and my pure reason for playing the position I do. Such a simple phrase that's so genuine and innocent "because I'm a setter" is just such a powerful response to me lol
One of the parallels I really like about setters is that both Oikawa and Atsumu (both amazing setters, arguably the best in the series till this poiint) could have also possibly gone down the "King" route similar to Kageyama, but both had someone to hold them back. Oikawa had Iwazumi who literally knocked sense into Oikawa when Oikawa was about to smack Kageyama, and Atsumu always had Osamu always pushing him to improve, and keeping him in check. Kageyama didn't have anyone like that until Hinata, which led him down the King route in Junior High, but we're now seeing great growth and potential from him once he realized his mistakes and adapted to "New King" (cuz of Hinata). Great parallel in my opinion, puts into focus the impact of having the right person beside you
just wanna point out whoever edits these is the best - all the good lines in the show are kept, always end up seeing the parts i wanna see/hear cut out so i appreciate the editing in your vids :)
Why I love Atsumu 🥺 he demands the best from his spikers (although it doesn't translate well to some) and in return he'll give them 100% of his support. It's unfortunate that not a lot of people can get past that jerk persona lol but I love him so much ❤❤❤
@@flagmachinethink of it this way. As a setter he's putting in all the effort on and off the court and giving 100% to his spikers. So he expects them to do the same and not cut corners. Especially if it's on a national level. it's kind of a slap in the face to someone who gave their all to place the ball in the best spot for you to just dig the ball over because you were lazy to jump, for an extreme example.
Kinoshita’s moment was so heartbreaking but of course the rest of the team is there for him in a really rough moment, an incredible episode from an incredible anime!
Tried that atsumu set one time and it was so freaking hard to do that when I did it, I ended up having a strained muscle on my left thigh and ass cheek and my core vibrated like saitama just punched my stomach or something
1:19 It's not that Tsukki can't be scary. It's just that Tsukki is a consistent blocker who would not necessarily go for the kill block like Kageyama did. Tsukki is a middle blocker, so his priority is to make sure to get a touch on the ball, first and foremost, to give his team a chance to counter attack. Kageyama just went straight for the kill block because he knows that Tsukki will be there to back him up. That's why he's scary. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to next episode. My #1 favorite moment is in next episode.
Such a great game. Although perhaps it was the new art style for season 4 and the quality drop but I'm dissapointed to see how it was animated. The longest game, page wise in the manga, so I know the limitations...but man the game feels different between the two. At least to me 😊
getting closer to the finale :’)
cant wait for nxt episode 🥺
Coach Ukai clapping for Atsumu's set always gets me. Since he was a setter when he played he admires how damn good Atsumu really is.
“I’m frustrated that I’m not more frustrated.”
Just feels so real and relatable, it’s my favorite Osamu line.
"because im a setter" gives me chills every time and i dont even know why.

Regardless of Sport, one who does his absolute best in a position that he’s been given with a smile will always be inspirational

omg i didnt even think of it like that, almost all the setters have someone to humble them
When you put it like that Kindaichi really fumbled the ball amrite? 🤣
'because im a setter' is always gave goosebumps
"how can one line bring me to tears like that?" ain't that just a perfect summary of haikyuu LOL

Jerks who are good at what they do are still jerks (my opinion of him is solely based on anime I haven't read the manga).

The biggest blessing that Atsumu has is Osamu,The biggest disaster that Osamu has is Atsumu 😂
Even though it was a "small" part of S4, this episode and Kinoshita story was one of the parts I remember most. Very touching
