    Q: I’ve had mine for several years & it has grown out of control. Stump still the same height. Seems no growth there but sprouts from side are definitely spineless & had to be zip tied to support weight. Any suggestions? It too big

      It is also a good idea to prune the branches appropriately to keep them in shape.
      Do not throw away the branch, but put it back in the water to make the roots come out.
      Then you'll get another great plant pot.

      My spineless yucca grew is about 15-20 years old and it grew to more than 2.5 meters high and it could no longer support its own weight. It was literally falling over unless ziptied to the wall hook for support. It was an outside plant that was repurposed to be moved inside so I just used a handsaw to cut it to about 1,90m. Used a scentless candle wax to seal the cut part so it doesnt dry out (its very important to do that so it could branch out from sides from the existing trump, and so that the trump doesnt dry out all the way to the base). Existing yucca heads and trumps (about 6 or 7 of them, plant was that big lol). that were cut off I placed in water and they all pushed out roots very fast and became new plants!

    Someone in my complex was throwing a tall yucca plant out. Problem is that the most of leaves are not straight, some at the top are but towards the bottom most of them are bending. I decided to take it anyways & try to save it. I bought soil & repot it. QUESTION! Do you think I'm wasting time because its gonna die anyways or is there a chance to save it & the leaves can become straight again? Please help

    • @cocobee4091
      @cocobee4091 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Unless they're turning brown and dying, they should be fine. The leaves were probably growing towards the light. If you want them to grow staright, sit them so they have to bend back the other way, towards the sun. Or it could be they were getting too big to hold themselves upright. Just cut them off like in the video and replant for new plant babies. It's a really tough plant, hard to kill.

    • @Omgiamsotriggered
      @Omgiamsotriggered ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The underpart of the yucca is not straight by default, and its called an underskirt. Your yucca is dying if leaves are rapidly turning yellow,brown,black or any type of inbetween variation. If leaves are green but have wierd shapes thats all good.

    Hi, I loved your video ❤! I need your help Please .. I have planted my Yucca plant as you did 7 days ago and I realize that the leaves of the plant are brown at the tips. Why is this happening with my Yucca plant?

    • @HouseplantsLife
      @HouseplantsLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Check if it is overwatered.
      And check the pot size.
      Proper pot size and moisture control are required.
      Transplanted plants need attention until they adapt to pot plants.
