Pls continue this series its is proving to be very helpful and can you make video on notification daemon, configuring rofi,waybar,, (as what are modules and how to import and style them with css) gtk and qt theming , application specific theming (file manager , terminal and all) make everything tranparent or blur etc.

Thank you for making this video! Really helpful. I'm just wondering why is the first comma needed before xf86MonBrightnessUp/Down? When it's not there hyprland is not happy but I'm not quite sure what purpose it serves here? Edit: Watched the part about volume later in the video and you answered it there basically haha

Is there way to set a limit to volume and brightness instead of it going above 100 percent
You could try using pamixer instead; it automatically limits the volume to 100% and has some other cool features.
you can add -l 1 which limits it to 100%, or -l 1.5 to 150% and so on. Try with wpctl if you are using PipeWire instead of PulseAudio

Hi,
You've been really great so far, really wanted something teaching getting hyprland up from scratch.
However, in my case it does not auto-login to the internet.
I have a KDE plasma (Wayland) DE where passwords such as the wifi persist fine but it does not carry over to hyprland.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
hey pal, I used the command: nmcli device wifi connect password in cli and never had to reconnect again. Just replace and with the name of the network you want to connect with and the password for that network
great work btw i am so confuse in dwm , hyperland, wayland like can i install hyperland from dwm i use simple dwm and st + dmenu in virtualbox just to know things first then I can move to arch completely
Yeah, totally. Installing Hyprland is the easy part, configuring it isn't lol.
The brightnessctl thing doesn’t work. I installed it and it still doesn’t work soooooooo what should I do?
Have you tried the same commands? If so and it still doesn't work, try using "light" instead; it's an alternative to change brightness, but I haven't tested it personally.
Why there is a colour difference in same video between Windows and Linux?
There is? I've no idea. Maybe it's because of some vendor-specific display settings in Windows.
