i love this video a lot! :) even the short mention of Choral and the vanishing. however, there is one small detail that was, in my opinion, not correct: it is true that choral left the throne , but he wasnt involved in the vanishing (as far as we know). he was gone already - and for a long long time, before the vanishing happened and his heirs in name and blood - the Rogvaria - suddenly dissapeared. choral and his dragons disappeared 4509AR, the Vanishing was 4699AR. this part was a bit unclear in the video. there it sounds like this events were one and the same.
The PathfinderWiki page on Choral Rogarvia says that he and his red dragons and his family indeed did disappear in 4509 A. R., and that the rest of his extended family disappeared in 4699 A. R. So even though the vanishings weren't at the same time, he did indeed disappear without any documentation of what happened to him, other than a report that he said he would return "when the time was right".
Thank you! Well I thought about several things to go deeper into, the vanishing being one of them. But I felt that I should stay on target on the Aldori Swordlords. That is also why I don't go into the different houses names (only Surtova) not even Chorals family name because I felt that, that should be clarified in a welcome to Brevoy video. 🙂
@@thetoweroftomes Welcom to brevoy-video? Now you got me! :D my best campaign was in brevoy - in fact a story about chorals return and the rise of house Medwyed where one of my players came from. cant wait to see it
Oh man, I’m in a kingmaker campaign and idk if I should’ve watched this. We’re level 13 and Jamandi Aldori has already informed us she can no longer help our kingdom as their own civil war looms, but now I know too much about why. Hope it’s not relevant to our story… Excellent video though. I love how you make some lore videos stories in their own right.

Those fancy swords and skill didn't do SHIT against a dragon. You know what would? MAGIC.
Send your kid to the Acadamae in Korvosa.
