- This is about the Category's of Firearms in Queensland of who can own what legally and use.
This help the students before coming to the firearms Safety course or a recap after the course if forgotten from the course to put in a PTA.
As there is a lot of information to take in on the course on the day.
Thankyou, fairly interesting as the gun laws are confusing. I always wanted to own and live rural and the feral animal control was and still is a part of my plans. Knowing the 22 bolt action is atainable as are the other firearms for such purposes is good to know.
Hey mate thanks for today. Very good and understanding training.
My pleasure mate I love what I do
@@armingthenationfirearmstra1942 We could tell mate. You made it good very informative. Wasn't boring at all.
Hi Aaron, Thanks for the video I have booked my cat h safety course with you.
Here are somethings that might have changed since you uploaded this video:
*Button & Lever release shotguns in Queensland are Cat B not Cat A
*Cat C firearms are also available to collectors with Cat C they must be temporarily inoperable (trigger lock)
*In Queensland you can have a centerfire rifle with a magazine capacity of up 15 rounds (bolt action only)
It is strange the laws button release cat A lever release cat b and yes collectors can have category C must be kept temporarily in operable for example trigger lock
Thank you Aaron a very informative video 👍
Just missed the barrel length restrictions for handguns for sports shooting but awesome vid mate
Very useful 😊🙏
South Australia is the only state to allow Cat D firearms without a gun license if they’re permanently disabled.. so you could in theory ask a dealer to acquire and then deactivate one for you
Legally you could but police will stand in the way all for a block of metal. Wish you guys could 3D print replica glocks.
WA as well
@@jabbathehutt1962you can as far as I know except for NSW where you can’t own any firearm blueprints or face 14 years imprisonment
Where does a Glock 34, which I am looking at getting into for target shooting ( or 17 or 19) fall in the categories? Are the categories different in Victoria? Thanks in advance for your help.
Cat H
Forgive my ignorance but what category would a No1 Mk3 Lee Enfield come under?
Bolt action centre fire rifle is category B
14:30 I'm wondering why size is matter?
Bro, Is cz skorpion 32 acp legal in Australia?
Great information,is Victoria the same laws
There’s some footage out there of a guy 10 years ago in Australia shooting full auto Brens and vickers guns. How is that possible?
He was probably a dealer who can own full auto.
we can have all sorts of stuff here you just need the time and money for the permit
Thanks mate!
for the very detailed & informative explanation of Queensland gun & licensing rules & laws. 👍🏼
