  • As robotic machines become more sophisticated and gain popularity in the industrial, commercial, and medical markets, they are called upon to perform more complex tasks.
    New design trends are emerging that capitalize on smaller, more compact assemblies with high precision and reliability.
    The motion control that defines robot joint movements must be as precise as possible to improve overall accuracy and utilize the robot’s capabilities to full potential.
    While the final external packaging of robot joints will vary by application, internal components and overall strategy can benefit all segments of the robotics market.
    At Celera Motion, we take our components and develop mechatronic assemblies - enabling our customers to create robot joints with extreme accuracy, low profiles, and high torque to deliver a unique solution for your requirements.

    I’d be interested to see what a chain powered form of this concept would be? With different angles of attachment, if the same effect would be similar! Love this! Thanks for sharing!

    Why not use a cycloidal gearbox or wouldn't they fit?

      Cycloidal gearbox can be used alternatively to strain wave gears, but generally, although also considered to have zero backlash, none are truly zero and cycloidals have slightly more than strain wave gears. The OD to output torque ratios also tend to be larger.

    Can i get cad model of this?

    • @novantamotion
      @novantamotion  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have CAD models of our optical encoders, inductive encoders and motors on our website (www.celeramotion.com). We take the customer’s specification requirements and work with you to create the optimal solution for your application needs, using our best-in-class components. Therefore, this is a custom build assembly based on your specifications, and we do not have a standard CAD drawing for this mechatronic assembly, nor do we sell this as a standard product. Please email us (innovation@celeramotion.com) and we’d be happy to explore how we can work with you on your project's requirements.

    I want to make a moving model horse that can actually pull a little model cart for a contest. Unfortunately it means I have to learn robotics and coding lol
