  • In this tutorial video presentation, Michael Davis, Robotics Field Service Technician for CrossRobotics, will demonstrate step-by-step how to replace the Wrist 3 Joint on a Universal Robots model UR5. Michael provides us with a few tips and tricks for this procedure which will hopefully make your joint replacement process a smooth one.     What brand of open-end torque wrench are you using? I'm struggling to find one online within the torque spec.

    What is the typical failure mode for these joints? I understand they are un-reliable. What could be monitored to possibly predict their failure?

    What is the spiral metal (with three bolts) at 1.05 what exist in every join? Is it a safety torque sensor?

    So helpful! My problem is finding suitable wrench with enough thickness. Can I know which type and brand of Torque Wrench do you use to fix them?

    Can you confirm that UR5 has installed KBM motors? And in particular, do you know which type?

    These joints are very hard to replace. We tried replacing shoulder joint and it took like 4hrs. I wish UR made these joints maintenance friendly.

      Cross Company Then I guess there is a MODBUS connection between servos with just 2 wires. Do you know if they are linked to eachother or not?

    крокодил заземления прицепляют не для проформы, а для защиты электронных компонентов кобота от статического пробоя и поэтому крокодил заземления снимается только после того, как собирается последний сустав - вкручиваются винты крепления корпуса....
