I am currently in the market for a Silverado/Sierra step side. Any ones from up north are a bit rusty. Hard to find a decent not so expensive one. Don't let that rust get ya.
“Ssssst…ssssssst…sssssssssst… rebuilding….” What rust? I wonder if you could have dropped a stainless steel nail or something through the existing holes to keep the door from separating from the hinge?
Do you got any rust on the passenger rear quarter panel on that trailblazer? I have an 06 with 90,000 miles on it and the only rust on the whole truck was a 5 x 5“ hole on the outside right over the rear wheel of the quarter panel

Hmmm. Maybe!
@@chemicalspore I’ve been sanding and sanding on this car and I still haven’t got to the metal quarter panel. What should I do? 🤣
For your wife´s sake (and your peace of mind) you could also clean that rubber fuel filler neck before reassembling.

Not yet on this one. Our old one (the parts truck) was developing rust there.
Noice! 👍🏻
Thanks JHG!
