I almost wrecked my TRX 450er | Family ride at Thorn's Recreational Park

- Well, if you follow my Instagram you know that this is the last video of me riding my 2014 Honda 450er. I sold it back to it's original owner and he will be riding it on the channel. So at least it isn't gone gone.

The girls are getting used to driving around in the yard so imna bring them to a rock garden and rutted trails. You are a brave man.

Those rough rocky hills is where a Rekluse clutch would come in handy and the quad wouldn’t stall. Or drop a tooth on front sprocket. Especially with trying to kick start on a hill.

Out by bend and crator lake are some OHV trails that are kinda of ok, we yousta ride alot up marcola north of Springfield, not sure if that area is still open.

Ayyyyyy I have an 03 trx250ex and love it I am a 14 year old and its a blast my biggest complaint is that the stock exhaust has no throat to it. That looks fun one tip for the 250 riders it when you stop on a log you should just start in first because the difference from 1st to 2nd is pretty big. love the vid subscription added👍🏼
You should come trail riding up here in Alaska some time it’s amazing no parking ticket all public land serious mud and terrain and the best part is your in the middle of no we’re

Great idea getting the girls out there and learning how to ride your 100% right You only can own your skills when you get out on long trail rides at different places. I spent time with my daughter doing the same. And now my wife on her renegade. Good times, nice job🤘

Been a sub of yours for some time I bought a foreman 520 a 2021 back in January turns out my wife likes it a whole lot so instead of going in to debt and buying another one I got a good deal on an 05 450R. Very very good shape I'll tell you what though the damn thing is faster than I thought I haven't been on an actual sport quad in 25 years. Did you gear yours differently to ride in the woods? I think it could probably use some different gearing because it doesn't have many mods and seems pretty fast
I'm glad to see these do okay trail riding I was considering picking one up to have a little more grunt over the 400
They could stand to be dropped a tooth on the front sprocket but they aren't bad. Typically get pretty hot tho

Whenever you down in Bedford again got to Lawrence country recreational park it’s a lot nicer it’s make more for atv and dirt bikes I ride there all the time cause I live in Bedford whenever your down you should hit me up so we can ride

How well did you like the Honda TRX 450.... I see you in your other videos you currently have a YZF 450... You should do a comparison video recap and how you feel about the two of them.... I'm in the market right now and I'm kind of leaning towards a Raptor 700..
Really depends on your riding style if you choose a 450 or a raptor but between honda and yamaha it depends what type of performance you want. So I should do a video haha

I want update my levers but concern found two wires clutch/p breake that goes in

Clutch wire will allow it to attempt to start in gear not a big deal in my experience and the brake wire is activating the brake light which isn't a big deal either.
My ocd is flaring up when you keep reving your 450 when it can idle.

My 400ex is high geared as well sucks on hill climbing with that high geared sprocket
I need to ride this place. Everytime I've come up to Bedford, it has always been to the county riding park. I like the park, it just lacks trail maintenance.
Every video I've seen of Thorn's has looked nice.
I will say it's pretty small though. I personally like Lawrence county park better.

The clutch perch is nice because of the adjustment and the color is pretty sweet. It's in Bedford Indiana

It's not very big and super roughest depending what you are going to be riding it may be worth a stop in
@@BrewerOffroad well, didnt look as ruff as haspine! but i ride a yfz450r. matter of fact, waiting on a presicion stabilizer to get here, ordered it monday from rockymntn. hopefully it gets here by tomorrow, so i can try it out this week end

Standard go pro lens, I haven't experimented with aftermarket lenses I'll have to try some new stuff this year

I’m sure it was probably around 200-215 the whole time on my yfz 450 my fan kicks on at 215 and if I ride really slow like he was following the group it stays pretty warm a good pull through 5 gear with cool it down quick tho
Got hot once because the fan wasn't on but didn't overheat

You could easily get $6,000 or more out of it. I'd go to a dealer and have them give you an offer on it first

I have 3 kids here learning to ride since last fall took them to couple riding areas here in Tennessee. That looks like great place for new riders.
why does your bike not have an electric start
The one way clutch is out "starter clutch"

Oversized fan and running constantly.
Alot of the temp sensors go bad in the Hondas and the fans never kick on or don't kick on enough
